Cafe Pure @ St Georges in Norwich

I run a Norwich Social Site Norwich Social Adventure and we have used Cafe Pure a number of times. Really nice cafe with very friendly helpful staff. Good selection of food on offer, good range of coffee & tea including decaf. They also do hot chocolate and cold drinks. Nice seating plan with plenty of seats & tables inside & out. Tends to get a bit busy between 8.15am - 8.45am Mon - Fri with people picking up drinks on route to work, which shows it's a popular place.

Visiting NUA for open day and went into cafe for a much needed cuppa! Had hot drinks and cakes but other food looked good, very reasonable prices & the lovely lady ( who looked a bit like Sheridan Smith) kindly recommended a great authentic Italian just up the road for dinner.

Each Tuesday a group of artist friends enjoy lunch at Cafe Pure. It’s always a busy time in the cafe, so the very helpful and friendly staff ensure we have a reserved table for five. We enjoy baked potatoes with a range of fillings or delicious home made soup! Our pre ordered coffees are delivered to our table for when we are ready! We receive five star treatment at exceptional value for money!

First time here....impressed. Great cheese scone and good selection of yummy products. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.

Fabulous and busy coffee bistro. Coffee a £1 before 9am and fab coffee too. Excellent hot sausage rolls and brilliantservice.

...and lovely sausage rolls. Apparently the hot chocolate and fruit scones aren’t half bad either with prices below ‘city centre’ premises. We just couldn’t walk past, as a glance in the window takes in all the pastries, cakes and ciabatta that are beckoning you in. On entry we were greeted warmly by the staff who were very polite and helpful, drinks and snacks were brought to the table with a smile. It is spotlessly clean, (staff wiping down while not having to serve), an oasis of calm. This was our first ‘pop in’ we’ll certainly be doing it again, just what do we try next time, it’s good it’s a fair walk home for us. Do try you won’t be disappointed.

Been visiting this place every Friday morning for quite a few weeks now, and it’s always lovely! Their paninis are really good, the staff are friendly and helpful. They have water available for anyone (sadly plastic cups are provided, but if you buy a drink you’ll get a glass), and stock brownies from local shop, Macarons & More. Really great place, and I will carry on going!

We used to visit Cafe Pure at their cafe at the N&N hospital and miss having them there! We got to know the staff and love their coffee. Their new site is in a lovely part of the city near the arts college and it's now even better! The Cafe has a really lovely atmosphere with nice modern decor. The coffee is very good and there's always a great selection of lunch options and amazing scones and cakes :) We've also been to a quiz night there, which was really well run, great fun and tickets included a burger which was hand made on site ad served with chips... delicious! Would definitely recommend this Cafe to anyone visiting/ living in Norwich! And look out for their quiz nights!

Had a lovely coffee with my partner today at Cafe Pure. It's not the first time we have visited, the range of snacks, cakes and light bites is well presented and varied. Everything is fresh and we opted for one of their scones which, was very tasty. The coffee was fresh and a lovely blend. My only two criticisms was the temperature of the coffee, the latte could have been warmer..my other criticism is the fact that animals are allowed in, a dog came in qith it's owner and queued for food. I am a dog lover, but my partner is allergic to dog hair. With such a high hygiene rating on the door, perhaps they need to review their policy as we had to leave. I don't agree with having animals in any food establishment, even if you're not allergic, some people are very wary of animals, particularly dogs. Animals in a restaurant/coffee shop do not mix, especially around food.

It is what it is - a nicely run cafe offering all sort of little tasty bits along with the usual sandwiches, coffees etc etc. Nice place.

A regular, start to the day when in the office. Always a friendly vibe, the young team always have a smile and a positive attitude (unlike some other coffee houses). With tables outside, in the front area and in a back room, there's plenty of room to relax. This is an independent Norwich coffee shop which deserves to continue doing well.

Went one evening in a group of four to participate in the quiz. It was full and lively, and there was a good atmosphere.One drink from a limited list was included and midway through the quiz a tasty lasagne was served. A good fun night out. Additional drinks coffees and desserts were extra.

Absolutely fantastic in all areas! I was a regular at the old Cafe Pure site at the hospital and there was no better way to celebrate our work Christmas Party than to ask Carl (the manager) if we could host it there. This independent business is run by a fantastic manager and has lovely staff working at all times. They are always happy and greet you with a smile. The Christmas Party night was organised brilliantly. We had the place to ourselves with genuinely the best vegetarian meal a lot of us had ever had (and we have 4 veggies in our team). The staff timed the food around our wishes so we could do our infamous secret santa and they hosted such a great night and big thanks to them! We are in the process of organising a Charity Quiz and Burger night @ Cafe Pure and Carl has been so fantastic in helping us organise this in our big to raise money for 2 cancer charities in Norfolk (The Big C and the NNUH Boudicca Breast Cancer Appeal). Thank you to the team and we will continue to be regular visitors!!!

Cafe Pure is serving up a fantastic Christmas treat with their mince pie scones, one of the best scones I've ever had, well worth a visit.

Had a lovely time last night for a private Xmas party/3 course dinner with absolutely gorgeous food - the Xmas pud and sauce in particular was the best I've EVER HAD and I've been on this planet a good few years. Service was impeccable (coped with a lively group of 22) as was the atmosphere. Highly recommend. Lots of places at Xmas the food is so-so but everything had special attention paid to flavour and presentation.. seemed like fine dining with more realistic portions and price. Thank you

Lovely coffee and food. Very happy with customer service, they were all very friendly and polite. Place was decorated minimal but very stylish.

2nd year we have used cafe pure for our annual breakfast...go extra mile fit 12 of us in..food really good lovey clean...happy helpful staff...big thanks from all of us..hope see u next year

Coffee & cake for breakfast as We were staying at the Premier Inn just round the corner. Hubby had a lovely Panini and I had a slice of Maple & Pecan tray bake...was just lovely! Perfect way to start our day. Highly recommended

Very friendly and welcoming, toasted panni, brownie, fruit scone and toasted bacon sandwich were all very tasty and great value.

Great night out with friends for monthly quiz night. Great value for money, friendly and attentive staff. Lovely to see everyone again as so miss them at NNUH. Would certainly recommend Café Pure @ St George's to anyone wanting somewhere for a coffee and a cake or lunchtime meal.

Carl and his team offer a brilliant friendly service. Delicious food and drink - and a fun quiz night once a month.

After arriving in this wonderful city on Tuesday lunchtime after 5 hours in the train from Dunbar I was looking for a place to have a light snack - and at Café Pure I was not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive and ready to help. On Tuesday I had the soup and lemon drizzle cake to savour.

Huge thank you to the staff at Cafe Pure who organised an excellent corporate event. Marshall Wolfe often come to Cafe Pure to work from and have a coffee in between client meetings and thought it a great idea to hold a function here too. They went above and behind on the night, with great food and continual flow of drinks. We couldn't have asked for a better service and will be using Cafe Pure in the future. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to hold an event, or just somewhere for a nice coffee!

Firstly, the coffee here is just fantastic! A great range and choice of drinks combined with scrummy delicious treats both sweet and savory. All food is freshly made with a good selection to have in or take away.

Just started doing meals in the evenings. I had prawns my wife had the meat and cheese plater both absolutely brilliant. Two for one g&t.; Well worth the effort

Stopped here for coffee on a night's stay in Norwich. Nice location close to the Playhouse Theatre and the NUA. Coffee was very good and service very friendly.
