Owner is a nasty piece of work that only cares about himself and no one around him, he talks behind his own staffs back about how bad they are and what they are doing wrong and instead of providing constructive criticism just shouts at them. Would not recommend working or going there.

We had come to Berkhamsted for a meeting and were recommended Fred and Ginger. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff, lovely choice of food for Lunch and the Coffee is excellent. We should have shared our Focaccia which was with Avocado and Chicken as it was far too much for one person. Felt very relaxed in there too.

The food is wonderful! On Google Maps it is still listed as Common Ground. Since Melissa took over, it has been called The Cake Shack. The space is cosy but there is outdoor seating for warmer days or you have your dog with you.

Amazing American style Brunch. Great food, superbly presented. Pancakes, light and fluffy, scrambled eggs perfectly soft, bacon nice and crisp, it was spot on, and a decent plateful as well. Really couldn’t fault it, and didn’t break the bank either

This place is fast becoming my number 1 choice for a coffee (or an afternoon beer) with a client or prospect. Great choice of drinks.

The coffee is superb and situated in a good location inside the marlowes shopping centre, the food is good and there's quite a few things to choose from. But the muffins (duh) are where the specialty is. The apple and cinnamon muffins are amazing and I really rate the Mac and cheese if you're looking for something savory.

Easy access, good selection of stores and lots of parking.

I've been going here many times and staff have always gone above and beyond, but today I met the manager I believe her name was Samiha or Samira and she was just so lovely my 3 year old told me "she's my best friend!"

They give you burned brownie hard like rock that you can't even put spoon trough it and they charge £9 pounds for it! It tasted like burnt chacoral if you tried to even have a bit of if you have good teeth. They get your order wrong and not even apologising or being apologetic about it. Not worth a penny. Overpriced and customer service with an attitude. The girl on a phone was so rude that is beyond an acceptable. Won't be going there any more amd won't be ordering takeaway. Save yourself your money and spend in a place that they cook your food properly and they not trying to poison you. Avoid!! I will also advise friends and family not to go there

Fantastic fresh flavoursome pizza and the garlic bread is so moreish you could have it as a main. This is the go to pizza spot... Never disappoints.
