The Marlowe's shopping centre is a good place to go, there is a good eating place called Brunch, if you have a cappuccino or coffee before 10.30 am it will only cost you £1.95 which is good value, the staff are very friendly, they have got a b&M store in the Marlowe's it is a really big store , they have lots of other interesting shops also , give it a try you will love it, I love going in the B&M store especially when they have all their gardening stock in, they now have their halloween & Christmas stock in,

Alright, here's a review on the Marlowes shopping centre. Starting off with Yugen, it seems like a top-notch spot, mate. The milkshake place also got a thumbs up, which is always a win for a good treat. Now, heading over to Sports Direct, sounds like they've got a cracking selection of gaming stuff, which is spot on for gaming enthusiasts like you lot. However, things took a bit of a turn when they went all "vinegary" on you. Pouring vinegar everywhere and slipping on pickles? Blimey, that must've been a right laugh! Running for your lives from pickle-slippery situations is definitely a story to tell. And that's the wild Marlowes shopping centre escapade, mate! Cheers, mate!

Great place. Their market day on the street is great. Always a typical setting that reminds us of the victorian settings - culture and people. Marlowes welcomes everyone. Great community. Given another opportunity to live at Marlowes, I'll have no hesitation. I recommend this shopping centre, high street and community space to you out there.

Very clean, spacious shopping centre, helpful staff at customers services and security staff are in the background , There are plenty of seats inside to sit down at whilst shopping , There is a new car parking system that works alot better without using a ticket, Some will say the opposite however I think it has much approved the car parking system with APNR recognition, There are you free days on Thursdays between certain days , There is a good atmosphere, good lifts , some out of action lifts. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much heating available in the shopping centre and generally is quite cold particularly this time of year.Wrap up warm 🧤🧣 Themed ideas are in the centre and wildlife interests 😁 Update: For blue badge holders, blue badge drivers NOW have to pay (22/11/23) , No discounts are available, only on selected days within the car park In recent months , the Council has improved pressure washing the pavement slabs in parts of Hemel Hempstead near Marlowes Shopping Centre, which looks better.

How has this place changed in the last 20yrs. It used to be a great place to visit, especially when the big retailers were there (Debenhams, River Island, Woolworths, Wilkinsons, WH Smiths, Dorothy Perkins, Argos, Littlewoods) it was fantastic back then. A great friendly place to be. Now, all that's there is New Look, M&S, Primark, Boots, Superdrug, B&M, Shoe Zone, Next, H&M, Robert Dyas, Poundland, Poundstretcher, Costa, Star Burger, JJB, Sports Direct, card shops, loafs of charity shops and coffee shops. The friendly atmosphere has gone and the community isn't the same. Now it's faced with increased crime, too many new homes, with no new schools, doctors, dentists, and no fully functioning hospital. Once it was a nice little town with a close comminity, but has now become what feels like a city, too cramped, empty shops and increasing costs of parking. They have tried to make it better for our comminity, but it's not good enough and no longer appealing to visitors from outside of our town.

Review done some time in 2019: It's an alright shopping centre. Many shop units are empty though. The centre court toilets are in the process of being modernised so there's the toilets in M&S or the ones in north court which take ages to get up to with the lifts but a quick run up the stairs which could do with some bigger signs. The lifts are ok but they've left one of the glass ones out of service for ages. The security and help desk can be found in the south court under the glass lifts, they're never happy to help you. Review done in December 2023: It's like a ghost town. So many units are empty and to try and help get more people into the shopping centre they've increased the car park prices. The £1 all Sunday was a good deal but it's now £3. All they're gonna do is push shoppers out which will push shops out which will see the place close. Doubt this place will last another 5 years. Knocking this place down for flats would probably be better as more of the space would actually be used, not much shops would be lost anyways.
