Caffe Nero in Dacorum

Service is fine. But the shop itself is now starting to look tired and needs a really good clean and refurb. Staff are always welcoming and friendly

Caffe Nero is consistently excellent, and it remains my preferred choice at the moment. Regrettably, the quality of Starbucks coffee has declined, resulting in a diminished flavor experience.

Lovely friendly staff and good coffee.

Love their lattes. They do dairy free alternatives and decaf which is great for people like me who have intolerances to caffeine and dairy. I hope they bring back the honey oat latte as that was a good one. The food is good too. I don't think I've ever had anything I've not liked from here.

Wakes all residents up at 7am dragging tables and chairs...how do I make a formal complaint please ? It's ridiculous

"The best espresso this side of Milan" makes me laugh. Every Autogrill this side and that side serves better coffee. Your baristas should train there. It may speed up service. They are very nice and friendly but slow

Was struggling with the door for 10 minutes with a pram, as it isn’t wide enough with the staff, literally just glancing across and refusing to help. Door so could’ve easily come and help me out, but instead let me struggle, so I went elsewhere. Was a regular Nero customer until this and now I shall be going elsewhere

I rarely review anywhere but I wanted to shout out your trainee barista, Abi I think his name was, who was juggling a long queue alone yesterday evening before close, while remaining calm, smiling, chatting to customers and even checking their drink was okay once it had been made and the customer had tasted it (despite the fact that if someone said no, that it would have given him more work!). He’s a keeper, I can’t believe he was a trainee. Just wanted to pass this on so you know you’ve got a good one :)

Needs a refurbishment toilet very back un clean

They always have very good coffee and the staff is always very nice and helpful. The only reason I've given 4 stars review is because the location isn't that clean and the furniture inside looks very old ..definitely the coffee shop needs a refurbishment.

Given paper cups with the excuse that the dishwasher washer wasn't working. A friend stated it didn't work last week either. Tables were not cleaned and needed to remove all the crumbs from previous customers. Coffee is not very nice and not worth the cost. Only come here as it is open late. Much nicer coffee available close by.

There always short staffed and so there's a queue. Then there is deliveroo and so other people in the queue end up waiting. There should be a third person doing those orders. Then the staff are not helpful. Why put a vegan inspired hot drink on the menu but never have vegan cream.

The barista was nice, but the chai latte tastes really bad. It’s not worth drinking to be honest

The coffee here is nice, and the staff always friendly and welcoming even on their busiest days. Excellent customer service. However, although I like the cozy feel this place gives, it would be time the management invested in new furniture.

El Salvador special they have on offer at the moment is gorgeous.

Good coffee, friendly staff, only downfall: the tables doesn't seem to be cleared often outside, which is a real shame when you know the time it takes. Another thing regarding the Hemel caffè, the tables on the terrace are too much exposed by the wind. Some kind of separation shields, windproof ? Tariffs/prices: outrageous, just like everywhere!

Looks like they no longer do FRESH sandwiches or cakes. Shame paying lot of money for old food.

Very crowded during rush hour and they had a weird smell that day in store.. coffee was great and staff very friendly!

Five star for five star service delivered by the guys at this store. I always get a friendly and polite service when I go to get my coffee fix. Stand out for me is David, who just reminded me of the good old days when customer service was a thing. Always says hello, asks how my day is going. Top bloke, recommend to try thier new coffee range which I did and wasn't disappointed. Service with a smile will always keep me going back 😊

Fochia spicy chicken & salad hot roll is fantastic. Always great coffee.

Toilets disgusting. Looked like someone had taken a shower in there. Floor was soaking wet. Coffee was good.

Helpful Barista, great tasting Cappuccino both iced and warm one too. Good air conditioning for great coolcomfort.

Waitress very friendly and was lovely to sit outside. Although we had to wait 20mins before we got served it was worth the wait.

It was busy when I went in and only one barrister lady was serving. She was so lovely, upbeat and friendly. And took the time to comment on my pregnancy bump and gave me a real boost. Thank you.

terrable service and not a clue how to make a iced flat latte, looked like dirty water and this was from a so called 2020 winner, well thats what they had on there shirt, never go back there again

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the store was clean only thing I don't like is how many people stand around the doorways smoking so if you want to go in you have to wade through their poison and if you sit anywhere near the doors you have it constantly wafting towards you completely ruins what would be a lovely treat.

They don’t serve almond milk which is a huge shame, but it’s a lovely coffee shop. Ample seating room (pre- and post-COVID). Mid-COVID, their queuing system’s pretty good, though picking up drinks would be difficult when busy as the queue crosses the pick-up point. Staff were friendly, and made drinks quickly and well. Would go again.

Went into Cafe Nero Hemel Hempstead and asked for a frappe latte which costs £3.55. When the girl was making it she made it with half milk, a frappe is supposed to be half ice cream. When I asked why she said they have never had ice cream here and has always made it like this. So basically I was getting an iced latte and being charged £3.55 instead of £3.05 which is what an iced latte costs. So beware if you ask for a frappe you will get an iced latte and pay an extra 50p for the privilege. And they are supposed to be coffee experts NOT.

I am Italian, I can certify that Caffe Nero have some of the best coffees of all chains. Do not forget to try their Small Panettone.. all year available.. and the best price for the amount of food you'll eat!! PLUS if you are a regular like me every 9 stamps you get a free hot drink with (AND A LOT OF PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THAT!!) EVERY extra you wish. I usually with a full card get a BIG cappuccino, with extra hazelnut syrup shot AND topped whipped cream total nearly 4 pounds saved!!). Go there!!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Even at times when it was less busy, staff were sure to clear tables of empty cups. Otherwise, it was comfortable and tea, coffee, and cake were good. I'll go again.

Efficient polite staff and delicious coffee and food. Too bad there are homeless sleepers outside waiting for the Salvation Army to open, which is 180ft down the road. Don't let that put you off though. Hemel has at least three good homeless shelters nearby helping the vulnerable.
