This place is fast becoming my number 1 choice for a coffee (or an afternoon beer) with a client or prospect. Great choice of drinks.

Coffee was fine. However food wise the sourdough was so thin it wasn’t enjoyable. The thinness of the sourdough made the cheese and marmite toastie far too oiley. If it were a thicker type of bread it would have absorbed the oil better. I had the avocado, bacon and egg sandwich. The egg was solid, there was too much guacamole and again the sliced sourdough bread was cut much thinner than a standard slice of bread. Think your usual kingsmill / hovis bread and then cut that in two. I understand that it’s a cost of living crisis and people are trying to cut costs but this is a great example of falling to invest enough to attract customers. Smart Investment is key and making food in unenjoyable is a bad idea. Won’t be returning for brunch

Lovely set up, impressive, and indeed eclectic beer & wine selection. Friendly staff. Coffee very disappointing however. Black American very bland taste, no discernable flavour. Espresso was super bitter and lukewarm... hence the poor rating, need to get the basics right.

I visited this Sunday to grab a coffee. Really nice coffee, a smooth blend and hot. I was served by Lucy at the till - I asked her some questions about the place as I hadn’t been there before and she was very polite and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit and keen to try the food.

Had a family party on Saturday night as a private function, was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. The food was lovely and wine selections are very good. Great evening all round, would of liked to of had it until a little later, but know for next time, would definitely recommend.

Lovely experience at Coffee & Wine. Really friendly staff, great selection of beer, wine, cocktails and soft-drinks alike. Attended for a private function in the evening. Would recommend.

Coffee and Wine have an exceptionally well chosen wine list - and is possibly the best value for money wine bar I have come across. You can purchase a bottle of their wine at retail prices and only add £6.50 corkage, compared with restaurants charging 200-300% mark up this is a bargain. They also serve some excellent charcuterie.

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but me and my mum came here to sit and have lunch and a coffee and plan our trip to Italy. On sitting down and taking out my laptop, looking at a map of Naples, the owner started looking at us strangely and then came over and asked if he could help us. I asked him what is in their granola (as I have an almond allergy), and he said "well I'm not going to tell you. I know exactly what you're doing. It's very obvious.". I went over to ask him for clarification on what he meant, and he accused me of stealing his menu. It was very uncomfortable. It's a shame because I have been looking for a cafe like this for a long time, with good food and coffee (although the espresso was bitter) and a nice decor but now I feel too uncomfortable to return. I would avoid if you intend to look at the menu for more than five minutes, or if you have an allergy and need to be cautious, because you will be treated with suspicion and made to feel uncomfortable. Don't show an interest in the coffee bean blend, don't look at the menu too long, and definitely don't take a laptop out...
