I visited this Sunday to grab a coffee. Really nice coffee, a smooth blend and hot. I was served by Lucy at the till - I asked her some questions about the place as I hadn’t been there before and she was very polite and friendly. Looking forward to my next visit and keen to try the food.

Lovely set up, impressive, and indeed eclectic beer & wine selection. Friendly staff. Coffee very disappointing however. Black American very bland taste, no discernable flavour. Espresso was super bitter and lukewarm... hence the poor rating, need to get the basics right.

Had a family party on Saturday night as a private function, was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were brilliant. The food was lovely and wine selections are very good. Great evening all round, would of liked to of had it until a little later, but know for next time, would definitely recommend.

Lovely experience at Coffee & Wine. Really friendly staff, great selection of beer, wine, cocktails and soft-drinks alike. Attended for a private function in the evening. Would recommend.

Coffee and Wine have an exceptionally well chosen wine list - and is possibly the best value for money wine bar I have come across. You can purchase a bottle of their wine at retail prices and only add £6.50 corkage, compared with restaurants charging 200-300% mark up this is a bargain. They also serve some excellent charcuterie.

We came in for the street food and found the event very well run, there were plenty of stalls, a good variety of offerings and seats to be had. Staff in the pub were very friendly and plenty of them clearing glasses - in fact a bit too keen, keep your glass in view. The ordering at the bar is meant to streamline the system but makes it into a bottleneck- but no real issue there was a Tring beer tent outside! Great event and pub give it a go!

Well, we visited the stall at Beaconsfield bank holiday fayre market and chose 2 delicious cinnamon doughnut 'things' plus a gorgeous seeded sourdough loaf which has stunned us, it's so tasty. It's 23 miles from our home to the bakery but we plan to plague them for their bread and goodies; just hope they keep in the freezer!

Wanted to leave a review of the St Albans excellent taproom from the brewery. Being a bit of a novice beer drinker i needed a bit of guidance on what and how much of each drink I should have ( one of the recommendations was a 9.7% stout that is apparently best drank in thirds if you can manage it!) by the wonderful team member Marcus behind the bar. A brilliant afternoon’s experience that I would really recommend if you’re looking for something local and a bit different.
