The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East of England

We had a beautiful Sunday roast here today, very tasty and filling. The staff were friendly and really lovely. Good value for money. Will definitely be coming to the goat and boot again.

No fish ,No Jacket potatoes, ladies Toliet DISGUSTING. Would not recommend to anyone.

We tend to visit here because it is close to where we live. However, we’ve decided to eat elsewhere in future. This restaurant has poor staffing and high prices, as we already knew. This last time, there was a huge smelly dog near to our table, the whole time we were there. People had to divert to get past it. I’m sorry, but not acceptable in an eating place. As e paid the huge bill, we vowed never to revisit.

Drinks good and staff are very friendly, nice set up also. However I go in often at 5pm, and they begin to start closing an hour early? Many times I have gone in at 5pm and there is barely anywhere to sit as the chairs are all packed away onto tables. They start washing the floors in front of you and hoover while you’re drinking your coffee. Google states this shop closes at 6pm however their instagram confirms 6.30pm which is misleading. Please start packing up later and leaving more opinion for where to sit!

Lovely place but service soooo slow,20 mins sometimes,

Valentines meal and my partner chose because of Charlie the chef and we were not disappointed. I struggled to choose between trout or rack of lamb but selected lamb even though I rarely choose it. It was fabulous and cooked to perfection. Flavours were wonderful. All ingredients including roast mini beets and squash puree were to die for. We had Camembert starter and trillionaires tart which were yum too. Highly recommend. Service top notch. Lots of parking. Nice atmosphere

I've been drinking Costa coffee since 2005, this is the best, great coffee and a new lift to the 1st floor, excellent for oldies, tho when you get up there it is full of teenagers.

Ridiculously slow service, finally got served and poor staff communication meant I didn’t get all I paid for.

The pub itself was lovely service and good value. Definitely needs a spruce up.

Have got food from here once so far. I came away with a few cupcakes, some pastries, a flatbread, and a tuna melt. The cupcakes were all delicious, really moist and a variety of well developed flavours that they've clearly put time and effort into curating. It was much the same for the pastries, they were flaky and seemed fresh even though i came at the end of the day. The panini was just what I needed to fill me up and the flatbread was also amazing with a clearly thought out combination of flavours!! Definitely would recommend and will be back.

We had a lovely meal at The George. The food was really tasty and good sized portions. There were lots of gluten free options on the menu, and as a coeliac I felt safe to eat here as the staff were really aware of cross contamination. It was the first gf roast meal I'd had out in years where I had Yorkshire puddings too, thank you!

my wedges and chicken courjouns were cold

We went in one day for a nice meal, me and my fiancé orderd a milkshake, hers was cold and mine was warm. I orderd a panini, and when it arrived, the server dropped it on the table and instead of offering a new one they went "oops" and put it back on the plate. Also the salad is lettuce and tomatoes, thats it

I hired a Rug Doctor and the motor died on it. Staff were helpful to quickly provide another machine. On the second machine the detergent spray malfunctioned to never turn off. Again, the staff were helpful. This time to provide a refund of the hire cost, minus the consumables. In Trump speak. Range good. Rug Doctor bad.
