Lovely big shop, with so much in there you could lose half a day! A bit untidy in places though

Disgusting! Drastically gone down hill over the years. Toilets aren't fit for animals let alone humans. A lot of products are not priced, so they miss out on sales. Not enough staff (not surprised considering the state of the place) & when it rains the shop floor is full of plastic boxes collecting the leaks from the roof. It's an accident waiting to happen. I think the owner needs to put his hands in his pockets & sort it out before he loses his business altogether. Such a shame 🫠 sinking 🚢

Yep, everything. Over two floors, with a small cafe too.

We wanted to buy some fireworks from range and after we made our decision, we wanted to buy something which was not put out again yet but none of the staff wanted to go. After waiting for about half an hour someone finally went but at the counter there was an ridiculous scanning error which made us losse anather 10 minutes.So we had wait more than an hour to buy a bunch of fireworks. Not pleased at all. Straight 1 star.

This place needs a good sort out like not use the shop floor as a warehouse need more staff because you can see they are struggling plus no one wants to help anyone it tock ages to get another checkout staff to help they did call for help as there was a big queue of 10 or more people the woman on the tills did call for help 6 times in five minutes and ten minutes later she got some help

This one is a lot better than the one at Whitehouse, Ipswich. More staff about more stock on the shelves... Steer clear of the toilets though. Poo on both toilet seats so I tried the disabled and it was even worse. Just had to hover and try not to touch anything!

Got what I needed, but lots of price tickets missing, especially upstairs. Toy area really could do with a tidy up but if you have lots of time to look through things then it's ok.

Not really the best experience if I’m honest. I travelled all the way here due to the website saying the item I wanted had 10+ in stock in store, Only to find out they have none in stock. I waited at customer service for 5 minutes for an assistant to come and help. To which no one did when I could see staff wandering around. The manager had to then be called as no one came. the kind man on customer service asked the manager if he can help me to which the manager replied “uhh well not really but if I have to” !! Hmm not really what you say when the customer is standing next to you I’m sure ?! When I asked the man, he said “the availability online of 10+ includes all the other different coloured one as well. So if it’s not on shop floor, then thats all you’ll get”. Not best happy with the attitude I received. Especially when the other colours in store only had 5 available, not sure where they’ve got 10+ from! So if you see availability online for the exact item you want, take it with a pinch of salt cause I guarantee it’s probably not in store and the manager or staff will probably give you a snotty reply.

Upper floor is a bit of a wasteland- dirty furniture with cobwebs and spiders on, visible mould on some products. Needs a good clean!

It's alright. The store is good for bits you need and even has a few food items now. I have issues with needing the bathroom at time and I also have crohns. The range does have a bathroom but if looks like you could catch the black plague there. I didn't even end up using the bathroom the last time I went as it was disgusting. Seriously if you need a cleaner please contact me as I'm very ocd about cleaning. It needs a lot of work.

The Range. 🥰 My favourite store. What is there not to love about this store ? Lovely to browse and see items on display. Not many stores left now. Always have seasonal items in to temp you.

Lots of choice and now combined soup with Iceland.. more of an old style emporium

New store layout provides a better experience however there are still lots of items that do not have price tickets. Due to having very few staff on the shop floor, the till wait times can be very long at busy times, this also means there is noone to ask for a price other than waiting in line to do so. Perhaps a barcode scanner instore would help, or price the items in general...

Had everything I needed a ndx more

The whole place could do with a makeover. The toilets leak and are pretty much hardly working. You have lots of tills that don't get used. You have to pay at the customer service desk.

A lot of options to choice from for adults and children. Food was great and the service was excellent, very polite and helpful staff.

With just moving to Suffolk I am having to find shops for lots of items. The Range Ipswich is a great place and the quality is excellent. Such a big place that I needed to ask for things and the staff were very helpful.

I don’t think I will go back here, the customer service was awful. I ended up getting my food 10/15 mins after my family because she got my order wrong. When she did bring it over the attitude behind her voice wasn’t very nice even tho it was her mess up. My friends burger was over cooked so much it was hard and she couldn’t bite it. The only good part was our drinks. Thank you for our drinks.

Shockingly bad 40 mins for a breakfast which came out totally wrong then went back to be upgraded only to be a sausage short uncooked eggs and soggy potato rosti,s well below par we've been before and it was excellent what the hell happened

Good value for money in garden department.

A recent store 'refit' has resulted in cramped, narrow and confusing aisles with a disappointing reduction in a previously well stocked craft and fabric section. If you're after a random collection of items and don't mind wandering aisles aimlessly to find them, then go for it, but if you're after a good selection of craft materials unfortunately you'll now need to go elsewhere.

Lovely shop allways got what you need and more , I went in looking for number plate letters but they didn't have any but I had a good look around the shop. So is everything from children toys, games? Sofas armchairs settings, beds, linen cupboards, flooring, light connectors, gardening everything you can imagine food Scott and Iceland shop in there as well. What does a little bit of Iceland food Overall? Good experience. Some nice shop. I like going there

Go in for one thing and come out with 3 bags,the range has something we all want.

The work was completed in the exact time.e frame given and with as little disruption as possible.

Disappointed. Outside plants were clearly in need of tlc. The whole place needs picking up and shaking.

Great store for good value housewares, gardening stuff, hardware, auto supplies etc

This is a large 'The Range' outlet and generally well stocked. It's handy for inspiration even if some of their stock is a bit 'tacky/blingy'! Arts and Craft supplies are good though, and the pet supplies are handy as well. There's parking available too.

Lots of new and different bits every time

Always plenty of choice and prices can be good.

Really helpful member of staff helped me locate the compost on Tuesday (great special offer) and then took it to my car and loaded the boot. Excellent customer service.

For the first time I visited the Range for craft paints and accessories. I was very impressed with the range and price of paints etc and this shop will be my first "go to" in the future for similar items. In the past I have bought all sorts of things from the Range and generally have been pleased with quality and price.

Huge amount of products on shelves not priced, garden centre very scruffy and dirty. And severn people at tills with only one open. Really poor, will try and shop anywhere but the range next time.

This store is full of a big variety of stock. Be careful as you could be tempted to spend good money.

Great selection of household wares at reasonable prices. Never disappointed in this store. Fantastic new selection of barbecues and garden furniture. In-store Iceland is an added bonus. Good car parking and a reasonable garden centre too.

I ordered a garden heater on click and collect and went to get it. I was given the wrong one, but I took it without having a proper look. I noticed when I got home, so I went back. I should have looked at it properly, before accepting. The staff members were great. They found the item I ordered and apologised for the mix up. Mistakes happen, how they're dealt with is what matters. 4 stars because the store is othewise a mess, management need to step up their act.

The store has plenty of 'just what you need' items. In parts, it's very messy with stock barrows/cages blocking aisles and shelving and very difficult to locate a member of staff should assistance be required. Final negative is lack of tills being open at busy times. UPDATE: 8 Months after my initial review the store has gone even further down hill! The car parts area is completely blocked and out of bounds (see photos) and zero tills open, save for the one on the information desk. Further update. Today I returned a roll of wallpaper only to be rudely asked why I was returning it to this branch and not the branch I purchased it from!

Went into the cafe in the range ipswich with my husband for coffee and cake , we observed what can only be described as a very sad selection if you can call it a selection of cake , very small slices on offer , chocolate cake and I'm not sure what the other option was , a lonley scone and a few already made sandwiches, we walked away and went to Costa across the road which didn't disappoint, I think more effort needs to be made there to attract more customers. We like the range , but on those occasion wasn't impressed , the shop was in a complete mess everything everywhere , a few staff busy trying to move things around apparently getting ready for the iceland shop , probably would have been better closing the store to do that as there wasn't alot on the shelves .

Used to live this store but now that they have taken over Wilko they are trying to mug there normal customers off with Wilko rubbish & tat 😡😡😡

Store is a mess, dirty, cluttered unpacked stock everywhere. The garden area looks like a boot sale roof is leaking badly. Staff unfriendly and just standing around chatting. The checkout staff were exceptional though, so 5* to them.

A lot of things for sale, and a very friendly business-like staff member on the desk.

What a mess the whole store was from inside the store to the garden centre, the whole shop needs a good tidy up. Most items had no prices, stock everywhere, the garden department looked like it had been looted. Left empty handed after not finding what we went for and decided to head to B&Q. Yes you probably pay a little bit more for items but everything had prices and was just a nicer shopping experience. Wouldn't be using The Range again in A hurry unless they clean their act up.

A store that sells everything for the family, house and hobbyist including furniture, electricals and there is even a small café inside.

The shop seems OK with a good layout. However the customer toilets remind me of cleaner version of the trainspotting toilets

Love this store. I appreciate the hardworking staff, as I understand management does not favour them highly enough. Prices are always decent, our go-to for Christmas shopping and overall a pleasant place to go. My only qualm is that the good quality in the cafe could be slightly better.

Store was really poor. Place was a bomb site and couldn't find anything. If they actually priced something maybe the staff wouldn't get hundreds of questions

No staff today.Was told to go to garden centre,deserted,found some bored woman,who was disinterested,come on,its Xmas,get some staff.Stuff everywhere..Went next door,very busy,but helpful staff.Shambolic.

Great range of items... however one person on the till at 3.30pm on a busy Sunday. Other staff just standing around!

We like it they try and help every time

Popped in here just to get a soda stream refill and ended up with lots more. Staff knew exactly how to do the refill, the price, where they were kept which made the collection very easy. Loved the Wilko collection and great to see a traditional brand going strong.

We brought some curtains which were good value. Went to paint department asked a member of staff about where small tin of white gloss was, he thought I said glass he didn't were it was, also I asked him where sandpaper was he didn't know that either.

I came in on a Saturday. There was only one till open on one of their busiest days. The three staff (standing at the only till open) took 5 minutes to acknowledged me because they were too busy discussing who’s going on break next. Their conversation was not only unprofessional, as they were each bickering with each other about who has been working the most; but not once did they look up at me or see the que of people waiting. Eventually the lady served me but she continued to have her conversation regarding breaks with the girl standing next to her. This is the second time I have had an unpleasant experience in the range. The first time I came to return something and the boy serving said he couldn’t accept the return as it wasn’t “packed properly”. I stood at his till for 10 minutes trying to unpack it and pack it again until he was happy but eventually I asked for the manager who said it was fine. The boy gave me the dirtiest look. These people should not be working in customer service. I love the range but not the people working there.

The shop was in complete disarray. Couldn't get all the way down some of the isles with a trolley as there were cages blocking them.

Certainly not what it used to be especially with home bargains 2 doors down. Don't really know why Iceland is now in the store - bit odd.

Store was a mess couldn't find anything asked a staff member they didnt seem interested in helping us. My partner is disabled he can not bend due to a bone condition in his spine the staff member on the till asked him to reach through a hole in the screen he asked her to bring the machine to the hole she refused. Customer service training needs to be given in this branch. The branch at Whitehouse is much better staff more accommodating, helpful, friendly.
