We went to Princes as we have done for over 15 years. On arrival they weren’t very busy but was told the wait would be 20/25 mins. After 45 mins I was told it’s just coming, after an hour I chased again and was told it was just coming it would be 5 mins. The order was for a burger and chips and 2 ham and cheese toasties. A nice man who was clearing the tables gave me my money back but not all of it, he took the money back and didn’t return. I then went in and was met by the same person who said it the food would ve 20/25 mins and gave me my full refund and not even a sorry just a filthy look, I asked is that a sorry. I received not reply. I was polite through out, and even though only on Gt Yarmouth for the day for the @wheels festival to wait over an hour to get nothing is a big chunk of the day. Poor customer service, poor communication and the lady who had food on the next table left it and said it was awful. For years I have been a loyal customer, and this is how you are treated. I won’t be back!

This is my local Waitrose and staffing levels have become ridiculous, it’s becoming difficult to pay for your shopping, worse than Tesco.

My wife and I came here on Wednesday the 1st of January 2025 in the afternoon to have some milky beverages while completing our work. We were served by a lovely young glassed brunette male who was very patient and friendly... in fact he was very demure and very mindful. We appreciated his fine artistry with the chocolate cream and his calm aura while informing us of the ten minute window before the shop's closure. Thank you.

This café has a great location facing the marina in Ipswich. We took the opportunity to sit outside on a pleasant day and very much enjoyed the coffee and the wonderful view of the boats. We visited twice while we were in Ipswich. You order at the counter with your table number and the coffee is delivered to the table.

This was our second consecutive Friday visit for the early evening bargain menu. We both had the excellent smoked haddock, leek & asparagus risotto followed by lovely mango panna cotta. Where else can you do this and (should you so choose) watch a bowls match at the same time? The bar staff are friendly and welcoming. We have also been here for our wonderful garden club annual dinners, our weekly yoga sessions and occasional coffee & sausage roll meetings with friends. How do they do it all so well? Had 2 roast dinners me & friend ,turkey & beef ,veg cooked well roast spuds very small but tasty ,portion was quite small, we thought portion for adult should ne bigger ,turkey nice but was pre sliced we thought .

Took the kids to Baskin Robbins in Southend today. They had a great afternoon. We were served by a young man called Riley. He was polite, professional and easy to talk to and I’d like to say he’s a credit to your company. We would definitely pay another visit.

Cafe is shabby unwelcoming, waiting time in the queue 20 mins staff run off their feet and not organised, managers hiding in the rest room oblivious of what is going on, the snacks are a mess thrown everywhere having to rummage through for a biscuit, biscuits in the jar broken, cakes looking past sell by date. On the plus side the coffee was good but not worth the wait. Never to return or recommend.

Stood waiting for ages to even be acknowledged whilst 2 members of staff were ‘working’ Ordered and sat down with my disabled father and after about 20 minutes one of the workers called out our order and pointed at a tray and told me it had been sat there for 10 minutes already! Awful service

Best roast around, friendly service and proper home cooked food, quantity and quality really good - highly recommended

The service was exceptional nothing was too much trouble. The cafe was spotless and didnt have the obligitory empty coffee cups and plates on tables which you tend to get in starbucks. Coffee was excellent. Surroundings pleasant. Manager, think he's called tony, even asked how things were. My go to place now.

There is plenty of competition in Aylsham for good bread, rolls and cakes but this is still our go to bakers. The quality and value is excellent and the staff are always very helpful ( happy to put rolls aside for me to collect later). I would recommend the cheese straws and rolls but the cakes are delicious too.

We regularly use this pub/restaurant for our meet up with friends or just to get out of cooking a meal of an evening. I met up with a friends last night and we had a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and service was very good. As we have the Sizzling app we had 40% off our main course which is great - times are a bit hard at the moment so its great that they have these offers on. Will of course visit again but be sure to book a table in advance if you plan on eating here as it can get busy !
