Waitrose Restaurant in South Norfolk

I regularly use the cafe and find the service exceptional. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the food and drinks are excellent. The atmosphere is good and the seating is comfortable and there is plenty of room - very spacious. I have never had a bad experience there and I can highly recommend it

Visited with friends we all had a good meal and super selection of cakes. The service is good staff very helpful. Ambience good.

Ordered breakfast but after 15 minutes nothing appeared so made an enquiry. Didn’t realise it had been ordered was the response. Another 5 minutes. Really apologetic server who tbf offered me another coffee but must be something wrong with the system. Thank goodness I asked

Dropped in for a light lunch. Good range of options and we chose jacket potato with roasted veg, tomato sauce and feta for c. £5. The roasted veg was nowhere to be seen, the potatoe medium sized at best and barley hot. When we questioned the lack of veg we were told it was in the sauce! I love Waitrose Marlborough buns but this one was dry if not stale. Coffee ok. Not a great experience.

Often pop in here with friends for a coffee. Coffee is nice but it's a real shame they don't offer reasonably priced biscuits to go with it. £1.50+ for a couple of biscuits is just a rip off. I go to an independent coffee shop that does fabulous home made shortbread for 45p. Come on Waitrose, put something on the menu that doesn't break the bank.

2 coffees which were very nice, I enjoyed my flat white,lovely creamy top& my toasted cheese and onion sandwich was tasty too.clean environment&pleasant lady who brought my toasted sandwich to me.no complaints.

Cafe is ok but really noisy and lacking any sort of atmosphere. Customer toilets are the most disgusting, smelly tiny cubicles really unsafe to take children to. This has been like this for years with no sign of improvement. Really embarrassing.

This coffee bar has gone downhill very quickly. The coffee offers of one third off certain foods are ridiculous. I visited this morning and there was one person in at 8-15 am. I used to visit at least three times a week at this time and it was always full. No papers to read now. There were two people in front of me in the queue and it seemed to take forever to serve them so I left and went to a Costa which I always give 5 stars to. A shame because Waitrose was a great place for coffee and could be again but there is a lot of things to sort out especially the coffee/food offers.

What on earth are Waitrose doing with their cafe offers.Not only do they devalue the offers in the cafe and continually change and complicate what started out as simple but latterly at Eaton the offers are not available.Today no carrot cake or sandwiches by noon ,staff indifferent cappuccino nearly all froth .For goodness sake sort yourselves as Nd staff out and stop treating us as idiots.At least there is no queing anymore.Ex customer.

This quality local supermarket is always a pleasure to shop in, with fine quality ranges and well trained and helpful and polite staff!

We were at police HQ that day and decided to pop in to Waitrose for a coffee and food I was shocked to see how downhill this company has come. The seating was filthy and it needs cleaning and/or painting. Also It’s more comfortable to spend time in church. Sadly this company lives on memories of how good it was.

Prices high as expected, but good coffee, and nice food. Comfy chairs and sofa and nice staff. A nicer than the usual cafe. Often super busy.

Called in today for a after snack and drink had latte and Danish pastry very nice bit of a queue but it is very popular

i know its just a supermarket but after eating there yesterday i just felt it deserved a review. the lady behind the till serving was very nice, and the food was excellent, everywhere was clean and the tables were cleared and cleaned quite quickly. we really enjoyed our lunch, thank you.

We often go there when using the shop. You can get a free coffee if you show your Waitrose card and a free newspaper. We pop in there just for a coffee sometimes and other times we have a snack. We don't live in Wymondham any more so we have to drive there if we want to shop there. However, their café is very good if a little pricey so we usually only have a snack, such as soup and a roll that kind of thing or just a hot drink and a biscuit.

Coffee was good, selection of teas, my friend had hot chocolate and said it was fine. Cake was OK. Service good. There were a few uncleared tables, but the lady working in the cafe was on her own. Fine for a supermarket cafe.

As soon as you walk into this store there is an overwhelming smell of coffee, great if you like coffee but if you don't , ugh! When you walk into the vegetable area, can you smell fresh vegetables? .... no, you smell coffee would I eat in the cafe? No as I like to taste my meal rather than just smell coffee!

We always enjoy shopping at Waitrose and always start in the café. The coffee is excellent and the food menu, although somewhat limited (after all, it is primarily a supermarket), is always served fresh and hot. Prices are very reasonable too.

This restaurant is a really great place for a coffee, or for a hot meal or even a sandwich. All food on offer has calories contained on display and there is a good choice. The staff are very pleasant and could not be more helpful.

Top notch food, superb customer service, staff are always helpful and willing to answer questions re allergies and dietary requirements. Smiley, friendly, professional service, clean and bright and airy cafe.

Your average supermarket restaurant but being Waitrose its a bit up market with nice seats outside and the cakes are a bit better.
