Bachus Bar, Lounge and Cafe in East Hertfordshire

Actually disappointed that you get barred for the most pettiest of reasons that doesn’t warrant 6 months. Now one of our friends from the whole group can not join and we have events and Xmas parties coming up.

This place is the worst night club i have ever seen in my life , the security are very aggressive and rude and the barman are rude and they don’t even care about you and they over charge people it’s very known about them , there is no DJ you feel like they just playing a playlist From YouTube , I really don’t recommend you to go there

Went in a couple of weekends ago on a Saturday night (pretty late) and it was utterly dead. No one was in there and the music was diabolical - There are better bars/pubs which have a better night life in BS if that's what you're looking for.

this place is dead and terrible and expensive , djs are not good and place is quiet and you dont feel like you are in a club or smth.

It wasn’t really great to begin with the expensive drinks but now they charge entry and cloakroom u can really see why it’s been very empty recently. It’s a shame I really used to enjoy this place was always packed before and had a nice atmosphere.

What can I say , 1st visit and last visit . Lasted 10 mins before we was pulled out for no reason by the security to speak to them outside , then we’re told can’t go back in ??? Why I still don’t know. The door was run by a kid , who tells you to “shut up” when he can’t explain to you what’s happened. Very professional . Poor service .

Let's break it down for you guys, I will use two categories: 'pros' (the good positive points) and 'cons' (negative things). Pros: - Great music options, wouldn't mind a bit more Cher, but hopefully there was more than enough Steps to keep this boy satisfied. - optimum floor stickyness - fetching greco-roman decor Cons - poor onion ring options - not many people had lighters in the smoking area - considering the name, I was expecting just a bit more bacchanalia (within legal limits obviously). Sorry for the short review guys, my stepdad needs to use my computer so it might be a while till you here from me again.

You have to be very very drunk to enjoy bacchus, non of my friends will go there unless they are drunk. if you attend bacchus even the slightest bit sober as soon as you walk in you regret it and want to leave straight away. There is a lady that scans your ID and she can be so rude especially to younger people. Would only recommend if you are drunk and want a dance!

The Black security guy is so rude, if this place is English place. Why the black guy is looking after for this place???

Il bacchus è uno dei pochi locali di Bishop's con un pò di vita giovanile dove si può ballare e bere qualcosa. I cocktail purtroppo sono pochissimi e principalmente sanno di acqua.. L'età media è bassa, ma è comunque un posto carino per fare due salti in compagnia!

On a night out we have a joke that we have to be completely drunk to be able to stand Bacchus. Everytime I've been they have let extremely drunk young people straight in.. which in my experience is very odd. Yes let them enjoy themselves, but there needs to be a line not to cross. The DJ is usually good, and when you can eventually get to the dance floor its a good time. However, I have been punched, slapped and shoved, there doesnt seem to be that much by the way of crowd control..

Lovely place, warm atmosphere and amazing cocktails at our party it was 2 for 1 till midnight and £5.99 each - toilets were clean and attended. Bar staff could be a bit better trained as they were quite slow - apart from that brilliant, I would recommend this place for a great night out.

The heavy stench of regret drifts over you as you walk in. The queue to get out is often longer than the queue to get in. The VIP area is a bit like Purgatory; not quite good enough to be Heaven, and a place to serve out your sins and probably clock up some more whilst you're there. Would thoroughly recommend visiting and sampling the fine cuisine.

Primeramente,me gustaria poner los nombres de los autenticos protagonistas, ya que pocas veces veo los nombres de las personas en los reviews. CAMAREROS/AS: Manolo,Andrea,Juan,Abbel,Juanjo Fiolera COCINEROS: Roni,Andi,Hasan. Bien y dicho esto,precio, calidad buenisimo, tienes tapas, menu,a la carta,en fin personalmente,si vas un dia, seguro que vuelves. catching up with friends after an exercise class in town, you can still get a nice coffee or green tea as well as alcohol, it tends to be quite quiet in the week which is nice as you can sit anywhere and talk, come the weekends its packed and totally different vibe and great music

The staff here are great, there is plenty of room. There are loads of tvs and they will tune in to the match you want to watch.

Really good management, friendly and experienced staff, good atmosphere and top-notch drinks.. Recommended.. :)

Retro. Good service. Typical food pub. Great atmosphere in the afternoon. The display of the wine bottles is particularly intruiging.
