Your staff need retraining on allergens and the process of changing gloves. Ordered a sandwich which was made pretty awfully and then asked for a vegan sandwich on hearty Italian. Guy behind the counter didn't change his gloves. When starting to make it. Cancelled the order and left with only one sandwich. Won't be going back if they can't do the basics of their job in changing a pair of gloves.

This one is closest to me so I visit quite often. I really like subway chain, but in this particular place I always get much less on my sandwich than in other places. I usually go to this one as it's convenient location, but for the quality food I would recommend going to any other point.

Absolutely shocking don't half half the stock don't have coffee machine on workers attitude absolutely disgusting don't waste ur time going there

Poor very poor!!! They refused to serve us half an hr before the shop closes because they cleaned the over earlier than they should to leave early. On previous visits I have found the man serving rude and huffing and puffing when asking to put something else on my sandwich maybe new career is in order they obviously dont like there jobs please avoid if possible spend your money somewhere else

Good service, parking OK, although spaces very narrow. Easy to find, once you know where to look. Will definitely call in again. Sandwich superb as always.

Best place in town for gluten free delicious sandwiches

Went here for a gluten free sandwich 🥪, really nice. They do need to get a wider range of gluten free Ingredients. Also make their allergy board more easy to read.... It is to small

DREADFUL! Avoid this subway at all costs! Experienced the rudest staff members and manager. Theres one guy who works in there who clearly hates his job, he gave me a dirty look when I ordered a kids pack (for my daughter who wasnt there at the time). Was shouted at by the manager when I picked the wrong drink from the chiller. Wrote in feedback to subway on the website and the manager I can only assume offered me a free drink IF I BUY A ANOTHER SUB?! Why would I want to come into this store anymore and give them anymore of my money! No way of getting through to customer service been trying for weeks. Have rung into the store and had no help whatsover, all members of staff very defensive and wont apologise. One even told me ‘are you done yet as we are very busy today’. Very frustrated customer and would like some answers!!!!!

Food arrived on time, nachos was not even edible some of them anyway, given the wrong bread, 3/4 filling was on one side! No sauce when i asked for sauce and didnt taste brilliant!

Dearest Subway Review Reader, I do say, the kids meal is rather exquisite! I would utterly recommend it! It came with that one might call a “cookie”. Very scrumptious! Live laugh love 💕💕💕💕

Welcomed.by two girls behind the counters, quick to help and service was excellent . Only downside to the visit (Sunday night 5pm) was a number of bread and filling choices were not available otherwise good food as much filling as I wanted and a nice hot chocolate

We ordered food online from subway Bishop’s Stortford Friday 16th April 2021 at 8.15pm. Online it showed they close at 9.30pm. We arrived and they were closed. We came back the following Friday with our proof of payment and they refused to give us. Saying they have to verify. We had a heated argument. Another customer came in and said this happened to him and he came and did not need any verification. Wondering why we are being treated differently! Eventually we were given the order after the “verification”. Poor service!

Well what can you say, its a sandwich you choose I don't think you can loose, great service, no queue really, changed there gloves after they had served person in front, looked clean an tidy

I ate here with my daughter during the Gov 50% off deal. I went to pay and the discount wasn't applied. So I asked if they could apply the gov scheme discount. Sitting down eating my lunch I looked at my receipt and it wasn't 50% taken off even though we had ordered less than £10 each. Not sure what they are doing but it doesn't sound right. This isn't the first time they have ripped me or my children off by overcharging and when my daughter was with friends they stopping them from getting a refill even though you pay for a refillable drink! I have in the past contact the head office but they say they can't help. Buyer beware when eating at subway Bishops Stortford!

They’ve got enrolled in “Eat Out to Help Out” programme, yet no one bothers to inform you when it comes to pay that you are entitled to get a 50% discount. No even apology when you challenge the staff after being overcharged. There is one tanned, tall guy who is the rudest, laziest, and the most useless person, who should never be employed in any customer services. And that is based on many occasions experience!

I couldn’t decide what to eat, haven’t had subway for a while so decided on it. The social distancing measures are in place and work. The food was prepared fresh and loaded with fillings. One thing I did find really odd and distracting was a gentleman sat at one of the tables shouting into his phone. It transpires he was on a video call, he was so loud everyone was reacting to it. He then got up from his seat and went behind the counter with no regard for hand sanitiser or mask. It was then made apparent he was the delivery driver. Firstly, as a member of staff he shouldn’t be shouting into his phone whilst on a call, and secondly he should be practicing government guidelines and using hand sanitiser.

Sandwich was good as always, service was slow but understandable due to current situation and only one staff on hand. Kudos to her for holding the Fort alone 👏 👏

Meat feast is a winner for me. Fallowing cherry coke. As fast food goes I like subway a lot. Had to wait a bit and parking wasn't clear but all and all its very nice.

I always drop in when shopping in the area. The food is good and the service excellent. The staff are very friendly.

I came around 6:30pm I wanted to get double chocolate chip cookies. Unfortunately it took more than hour for the person at the counter to actually served me he was so rude this was getting beyond a joke and there was only one person behind the till there should of been more people working . I will not be recommending this place at all and will be returning. However one positive suggestion is that this was not overpriced at all three double chocolate chip cookie only for £1.90 is actually quite decent and there where so tasty as well.

Awesome Old Traditional Music Venue....!

Ordered 2 subs, 2 lots of free cookies and nachos. 1 hour later 2 subs only delivered. No nachos or free cookies. Sub ingredients wrong and stone cold. Called just eat who said they can not refund as not shown as delivered by store. Called store and told cant give refund as the money comes out of his own pocket. Well I bought this substandard and cold, wrong order paid for out of my own pocket. They have hada chance to refund me but have chosen not to. I will be posting this on every review site until my money is refunded. I would advise not using their delivery because if it's wrong or cold you wont get refunded

The food is good with fresh ingredients but there seems to have been a price increase and no more lunch deals etc. A 12" meatball sub with a bottle and cookie today cost me £8.38. I'm sure a little while back this would have been about £6.50? Seems like a big price increase - I will not be using this outlet anymore.

I have no problem with the the subs, as they always taste nice. The problem I do have is when I have my app scanned for points. They rarely get registered to my account. I had my card scanned today, ut the points didn't register. I went in last week, had my app scanned, and same thing happened, didn't register. That time I paid by card, so was able to contact Subcard to get my points added. I paid with cash today, on the last day of double points promotion, but points were not added, so lost out on double points. This seems to happen to me quite often at this store.

Not a brilliant place to eat in as middle of shop

My wife and I visited for Lunch today ( Saturday ) , not too busy . Extremely friendly staff the rolls were soft and fresh . The fillings most tasty and excellent too 3 for the price of 2 Cookies was a good bargain , too . Well recommended

This is one good subway hidden on a back street but great quality and fresh service staff are friendly

Just had a bacon egg and cheese melt it was absolutely disgusting waste of money would not recommend it feed it to the birds

Wonderful staff, very friendly and the establishment is clean only downfall I would say is I have witnessed a manager before now clean the glass by spraying cleaner directly over the top of uncovered food.

We visited here on Saturday lunch time , although We enjoyed what we ate the “sub” fillings were a bit on the small size compared to other Subway outlets , which was disappointing

This must be the poorest Subway Restaurant I have ever visited . The scoops they use are tiny , far small than in other Subway outlets . Also they do not accept the loyalty points scheme Not recommended

Clean area, quick service and good lunch. No complaints. Staff friendly also. Bit expensive but expected at services.

I attended this venue over a weekend. On the Saturday I was shocked that the prices of my favourite Sub had gone up (considerably), so I was not impressed and vowed not to go again. However, I was dragged in on the Sunday. There were a few new members of staff there who were very nice and pleasant. However, when they were laying cheese slices they put down 5 slices and the Boss told them off! He told them to reduce the number... it's cheaper" He then reduced the amount of mayo a young kid was having and was rude about it. Not such a big deal in the grand scheme of things but they are ripping off mainly kids. Needless to say, NO more visits to this rip-off venue

He estado en muchas tiendas antes y este es el peor y el personal han sido grosero en ambas ocasiones. La última vez que visité me dijeron que sólo podía haber un par de ensaladas, y tendría que pagar por el resto, y los que pusieron en eran apenas inexistente. Ellos fuertemente dan la impresión de todo sobre el dinero y nada de servicio al cliente.

Mi hijo adolescente de 14 años fui a comprar su favorito sub (pollo tika con extra tocino y pepperoni) en el metro en servicios birchanger (precio habitual en su metro es aparentemente £6. 50). que le cobraron £11. 00! ! ! - creo que este debe ser un error, así que le acompañamos de vuelta a la tienda. Parece que tenían le cobraron 3 libras. 00 por un par de rodajas de pepperoni extra y 2 libras. 00 para un extra de erupción de tocino, aumentando el costo de un estándar de 12" sub de 6 libras. 00 a £11. 00. El personal era grosero y arrogante - alegó que había una lista mostrando estos cargos exorbitantes en algún lugar por encima de la barra (no vi este para confirmar o refutar), pero ciertamente no advertir mi hijo de cuando le pedimos, y él está acostumbrado a pagar 6 libras. 50 por exactamente el mismo producto en otro lugar el £11. 00 fue un golpe duro. La actitud personal cuando me quejé del cargo fue en mi opinión inaceptable.

its always fresh in bishops stortford Subway, ingredients look appetising and the service is so fast and efficient. The price is such good value and very popular with kiddies after school so it gets busy at these times.

It's a Subway. Not a lot more to say, but always friendly service and never too busy. Very handy to grab a cheap bite when you've just nipped into the town centre.

Great range of breads, fillings and toppings inc. vegetarian. Fizzy drink that are self dispensible but not refillable.

Not impressed at all by this Subways . Their potion size of fillings is really small , and the staff unhelpful .

Teníamos 12" italiano BLT's. Como siempre, salieron justo lo que nos habíamos esperado lo principal es muy sabrosa. El aparcamiento puede ser un problema a menos que quieras riesgo parando en la bahía de carga exterior, pero esto puede ser peligroso debido a guardias y perder sus espejos de puerta con vehículos que pasan. Si estás de pie, te sugerimos que probar esta rama. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

Our local Subway so this review is based on several visits. Staff are generally pleasant but the shop itself scruffy and need of some attention. Major issue is the toilet which is disgusting. It opens into the shop itself and I cannot believe it's not a health hazard.Could be so much better so easily.

Good priced sandwiches, service is slower than most other subways but you know what you are getting. Decent food, if slow.

The food isn't great but it's what you'd expect from any Subway. The problem is the lack of staff at busy times.Weekdays in school term times mean long queues at lunch time, but they never seem to have more than two staff members even at peak times.

Not been up to its past standards. Meats look like they have been sitting out to long and salad is kept to warm.

Just hit the spot. Had a great sub. And my little one wanted some olives so they gave her a pot of olives. Very friendly
