Caffe Nero - Hertford in East Hertfordshire

It was an okay club but it's wasn't a great vibe. However the dj seemed to use the smoke machine as an excuse to vape. Overall we had a good time.

Went for a night out for my birthday had a great night! Atmosphere in the place was decent and drinks were reasonably priced!

We visited this venue for my friends birthday we pre booked the gold spirit package. Fantastic staff really great night out

I got a double vodka and red bull for £4.50 on a Friday night, team are very friendly and Brandon was really nice to talk to

Always have a great time here! Only thing that would make it perfect is if the upstairs room was always open when we come! Last few times it has been not been open

Honestly, the best experience ever!! Having to play taxi to my wife at 2am was the best 😂 parked right outside, enjoyed the tunes waiting for her to tumble out the door ready to pass out in the car. Couldn't have asked for a better night 🕺😴🚖

I have just had such a great party after hiring the upstairs of Core last night!!! I cannot recommend Harry enough for his amazing effort with everything that I needed. I had so much fun!!! This was my email this morning - Good morning Harry, I just wanted to say thank you so sooooooooooo much for everything!!! I cannot explain how incredible you were at organising everything, communication, extras and everything in between. You are incredible at your job and so attentive. The DJ was perfect and you totally listened to everything that I wanted. I cannot thank you enough!!!

We had the loveliest night at Core celebrating my 25th birthday! The music was great - music you can dance and sing to. The alcohol was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was great and the staff were so lovely, even sending a bottle of bubbly over to me and my friends ❤️ I’ll definitely visit again 😆😆

Nero's is a popular spot in Hertford, right in the centre of the town, and very nice to be able to sit outside, which people do all year round. The bonus of Nero's is that it is open until 6pm while the other cafe's close at 4pm, and in addition to this, has seating upstairs and tucked away in a extra corner downstairs. The staff turnover is huge, and you hardly see the same face twice, but generally service is with a smile, and quick, and there is usually a good selection of coffee and snacks. My favourite is grilled teacakes with butter! The downside to Nero's is the toilet which is frankly horrifically and unforgivably filthy.

I'm a regular Sunday morning visitor and the standard had dropped in the Autumn, but seems to have returned to its old standards since a new manager has arrived. He has raised standards and the young lady who served me today was fantastic, too.

Friendly staff, cheap drinks and good music, what more could you want!

I came here one time and I swear it was incredible I was served by harry and he was a true gent, quick service and the place was incredibly tidy. The tunes were brilliant aswell just overall super impressive. I’ll definitely be coming back whoever the gm is is doing a truly wonderful job

The music is very interesting as the top floor is all cheesy and bottom is anything. Music is fantastic as I love the bangers. Would definitely take my mates there at some point again.

We visited here Saturday just gone (10th), we were around the town all day and then went to Popworld for the evening, it's probably the first Popworld we have been to that doesn't/didn't play any 80s music, the music is just a pure mix match, hard to get into it. Downstairs was empty and upstairs kept jumping too much that it was hard to dance to, or get in the mood for - DJ definitely needs to address that, would return, but hopefully with better music.

Saturday night was really good! Was listening to chart upstairs and then went downstairs to smoking area and heard them playing house! It was a good night

Came here at the weekend and spent time in the club room where they play R&B, was a great night with friends

Had a great time out with my mates, and you can take it from me since I don't drink. Great music from the DJ. The staff were very friendly, especially the guy with the Grinch costume (Jamie was his name I think though I could be wrong), absolute riot that guy.

Fun place, had a great time with some out of town friends from Utah here, if you are looking for a nice night out and are in the area, you cant go wrong with Popworld. Friendly Staff Great DJ Jamie, someone apart of the floor staff, was very helpful and kind when i last visited and made our night just that bit more fun. His Grinch costume was poetic, as he stole our hearts

Ordinarily, popworld is a place you can go to for a bit of dance music and some drinks. Prices have certainly gone up, £7 for a double spirit. I’m rating so low as ordinarily popworld is a 4/5. However, when I was leaving the club with my bottle of drink (unknowingly), a previous colleague had said I could finish my drink on the step of the club before leaving (due to glassware safety precautions). I was finishing my bottle of drink before another colleague had come out demanding that I finished the drink within 2 seconds. I explained this was fine, however, I could not finish my drink within two seconds trying to manage expectations, I said this twice; suddenly, the manager had snatched a bottle of drink out of my hand quite forcefully, in a violent matter. Something which I foresaw to be quite an overreaction to my conformance to her request. I was more than happy to comply. Unfortunately I was met with aggression. I’m quite disappointed in popworld as I’m a monthly regular and have never been met with such volatility. It’s a shame, as I was treated at a teenage rebel, and I could not be treated as an adult. I don’t think I’ll be returning. The manager was blonde and Caucasian.

Half the venue was closed off playing songs from 2008 and absolutely no bassline £7 entry don't waste your money, NEVER GO HERE.

Been to Popworld many times now and always have a great night. The music is really good and the staff are even better! Always got drink deals on and is an all round brilliant night out.

I love this coffee shop. I’ve been coming here for years on my own after the gym & also with my kids. It’s location is right in town, it’s lovely to sit outside when it’s sunny. The coffee & cakes are always great. The staff have always been very friendly, chatty & helpful & make great coffee. Most of them know my order before I say it.

I don’t usually leave reviews however a young lady gave me the best service I’ve ever received at a club , she was working in the downstairs bar I didn’t catch her name. She was brunette and had glasses on her head. Thank you for such amazing service darling :)

Iv been here for an event and it was out of this world! And it made me come back for a night out and it didn't disappoint!
