the only cafe I have ever been to that gives one small piece of bacon that covered 1 third of my toast, one slice of toast was then cut normally in half, the other slice was cut in triangles How can i possibly make a bacon sandwich like this ? and where is the bacon ? I then went into the store and spent a few hundred pounds I am not the fastest person as struggling to walk with cancer, THEY THEN SENT ME A 60 POUND PARKING FINE I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE

The breakfast was served nice and hot and was good on price. The food was well cooked and the staff were friendly. And we didn’t have to wait long. A very good place to grab a breakfast.

Everything is grubby. At the till the milk was served in a dirty jug when I pointed it out I was told it was stained and given another equally dirty jug. I explained to the lady on the till that the jug was dirty with stale milk. Finding clean cutlery was a challenge. Everything was dirty, cups, saucers, knifes, plates even the stainless teapot!

My daughter took me here for breakfast. We both had a full English with a drink each, £24.00. It was very expensive but tasted good. I have had better, cheaper full English breakfasts but this place is catering for holiday makers not locals. Probably wouldn't go again.

Me and my dad regularly visit for pasties, rolls and bacon + cheese turnovers then go and sit by the river. So tasty and freshly cooked.

We had breakfast here several times which were good and a good price. Their Covid practices were also very good with track and trace and very thorough cleaning between use of the tables.

Great cafe, one of the best we had been in on our 2 week holiday. Cake selection was enormous, coffee tasted great, toilets sparkling clean & friendly service. I can see why it's so popular, highly recommend!

The meals were really overpriced and disappointing, service staff were very friendly and we didn't want to complain, but a couple of the meals were pretty awful to be honest, and the rest of them barely passable for £16 odd quid each. A lentil and mushroom stew for £18 that was barely a starter size; a child's pasta for £9 that was eaten in 3 mouthfuls. All round, really delighted with kelling heath facilities, and the woodland lodge is fabulous, but the restaurant really needs an overhaul. As others have said, a captive audience shouldn't justify such overpriced poor choices

The food was fine, not amazing. Clearly prepared in advance and then reheated as it came out so fast. Starters arrived before our drinks! Nice setting, dog friendly and warm welcome.
