Booked (essential) for eight and had lovely sea-view seating. Very nice meal although disappointed at 5.30pm last of lobster already sold! Had crab instead and was lovely, as were our other 7 meals; seafood platter, quiche and kids meals. Nice puds to finish off. Returning diners, says it all. Just the two of us tonight, with dogs. Very nice service and good meal. Will continue to revisit! Returning again, lovely main courses, could not fault. Nice bottle of wine, crab quiche and a Lifeboat burger were lovely! But trying to get desert/coffee, gave up! Every member of staff walked past our table with their heads down (without exception) - don’t know what we’d done to offend! Even had to go to bar to ask for the bill - maybe they all wanted to knock off early but only 8.30!! A £50 dinner could have been £70+ but hey!! Returning for a family birthday dinner, another party of 8. Favourite table in bay overlooking the seafront. Learnt by past experience and just had a round of drinks and main meal ordered together - resulted in a smooth faultless service and beautifully prepared fresh food - thanks! Another very pleasant and good value dinner - two courses and a bottle of wine for two with service £85 - will be back!

We popped in for one drink on a winters rainy day and the staff were very friendly and accommodating especially Kuwame who welcomed us very politely, giving our Doberman some treats (which most people are not to fond of) and then the chefs came out to say hello and gave our Doberman some leftover beef. We tend not to take our dog into a pub because of the hassle it sometimes causes but this pub was very dog friendly and we will definitely be back soon!

We visited Sheringham over the Christmas period after a cold but lovely walk with our dog we called in for a drink. We were made to feel very welcome and shown to two comfortable seats. We ordered a bottle of wine to share which was lovely and after seeing all the lovely looking food that was being served around us we decided to have food as well. The food was lovely. All the staff were very friendly and efficient- we had a lovely visit

We were shown to a lovely table by the window and were given menus and told would be back to take our order. Waited 30 mins then had to go and ask for someone. Took our order then waited another 35mins, wasn’t busy, so had to ask again where our food was, (only jacket potatoes) as noticed table of 4 came in after us and their food had been served. Lady said she’d find out, no apology and was quite rude then food came out 15 mins later. The food was lovely but service appalling apart from the polite and helpful chap behind the bar. The lady could do with more training!

Stayed after watching the Cromer Fireworks on 1/1/25 The room was delightful, everything you could need, warm and extremely comfortable beds. We had a sea view which was enchanting. Staff are lovely. We had booked this online for New Year’s Day lunch to celebrate our mum’s special birthday. We were unfamiliar with the area so relied on the online reviews to book a venue for lunch. We were not disappointed!! The staff were friendly and made us all feel welcome. The food was good and plentiful and all 9 of us enjoyed our meals. Thank you to Olivia the manager for ensuring we had a sea view and for looking after us.

Entered the pub to be treated with a “wait to be seated” sign, we only wanted drinks, after no one seating us and stood completely in the way with people trying to get in or leave the pub we just sat at an empty table and got our own drinks from the bar, extremely hot and uncomfortable, wasn’t impressed at being charged £8.50 for a small glass of mulled wine!

Popped in for lunch as we heard it was dog friendly. Waiter was very friendly and after we were shown to our table brought a little pot of dog snacks for the pooch. Cajun chicken burger was tasty. Bit of spice. Plenty of chips. Salt and pepper Squid was decent. Smaller portion than the burger but plenty of fries. Prices were very fair. Timmy Taylors on draught as well, which is always a bonus. Location is right on the seafront. Imagine in summer season it must get very busy, but in November with a real log fire going it was just what we were after.

We went to the Two Lifeboats for Sunday lunch today with our daughter and her son, we’d pre booked as we knew it’d be busy with it being half term. The table was ready for us, menus and we were offered a drink straight away whilst we chose our meals. The food was fabulous, everything cooked as we like it, vegetables properly cooked, faultless & warm plates. All 4 of us had a sweet which was equally delicious and the young lady serving us was a delight as we’re all the staff. We’ve booked again but for Friday early evening.

So disappointing as we were looking forward to our first meal out in Sheringham.Whilst the staff were very friendly and polite the food was not great at all....and extremely overpriced.£18.95 for tasteless deep-fried fishcakes...and a similar price for very average scampi. I’d consider this place a bit of a tourist trap. We paid £20 for the ploughman’s photographed and honestly it was a total rip off. All in all we spent £31 and for that, we got two pints and that tiny ploughman’s. Despite that, service was great and views were okay. All in all I’d recommend for drinks but I would eat elsewhere as in my opinion the food we had didn’t represent good value for money.

We visited in late May on a rather windy weekend. The bedroom was fine for one night - it had a comfortable bed and was nicely furnished. The bathroom was tiny and a bit old fashioned, but adequate for a short stay. We had sea views but this also meant the wind whistled loudly through the window all night (luckily, I packed my earplugs!). The veggie breakfast was good, and generally the staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. I felt the cost for the room was rather high, especially compared to similar places we've stayed around Norfolk. We did eat at the restaurant too, the menu featured the usual pub grub, and there were a few veggie options. Service was attentive. The only issue was that surprisingly the heating was still on and it felt very warm for us.

Clean & comfortable with drawers & hangers for clothes as well as tea/coffee making facilities. Friendly, helpful young staff in the restaurant/bar and better service than last year. Believe menu may have changed since previous visits, but still good food and ample portion sizes. May 2023 Returned for a long weekend, same sea view room. Good breakfasts and pub food for dinner was nice However, service was unpredictable. Best pub meal I've had in a very long time, strongly recommended! On our first visit to Sheringham, we looked at all the available options with the Two Lifeboats seemingly the pick of the bunch. We were not disappointed! Greeted by the charming and attentive Jenna, the dining rooms provided a cozy and quaint atmosphere, perfect to relax in after a day's walking in the fresh air. At Jenna's suggestion we decided to share the line caught sea trout, freshly landed in the local area - this did not disappoint, and in fact turned out to be an epic choice. Grilled by the chef to perfection, we were served a simple yet utterly delicious feast of fish, potatoes and salad, washed down by the local ales - a meal to be long remembered... As the pics show, we devoured everything! I hope you give this place a go and have the same experience at the Two Lifeboats as we did!

We were met at the door by the lovely Jenna who saw us to a table, took a drinks order and talked us through the specials. The food was absolutely top notch and the service was first rate. We had read on Facebook that the pub had recently had a rather expensive refit which is why we went in. I must say the decor was very nice but it's the staff here that make the place. A final note to the chef, the homemade quiche I had is the best I have eaten. Look forward to visiting again soon Dan and Helen

Lacking atmosphere, even though pub nicely decorated for Xmas Charged are greater than the quality of the meal offered.

We had lunch here today. We were very disappointed with the lack of choice on the menu. What we did have was OK but not great. I had steak, it was quite chewy and was literally steak and chips, I didn't realise it came with no veg and the waitress didn't tell us if we wanted veg we had to order it separately. My husband had the burger which he said was OK but a small portion. We heard it was good food but it was just basic pub grub.

Food only 1 star as we didn't eat. Chose twice and due to lack of stock replenish in between Xmas and New Year. So bear circumstances in mind to the rating given.

If you want to eat awful and not healthy than best you camp in. Food is cold, staff are rude and faces like they don't wanna be there. Short woman was very rude and you could hear them shouting out the back. Some man who appeared to be friends with them messing around outside. This isn't what i like to see when eating out. HUGE let down girls. They need to be more polite and have a better manner and not shout so much!!!
