No care from the staff,rubbish coffee

Disgusting. Filthy toilets, no loo roll, girl used the floor broom to sweep tables, no sanitizer. Rude obnoxious staff, could not give a toss about complaints regarding health and safety. Don't eat there , you may get ill.

Dirty.......toilets absolutely disgusting. Tables being brushed with the same dirty broom the girl was sweeping the floor with. Rude obnoxious staff. Will never go back for fear of be becoming very ill !!!

Loverly place to have a coffee ☕️ or tea with a snack after you have been in town , Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere . Only few minutes off the town centre and by the side of a central carpark.

It was as you would expect from a franchise, average....

Hit and miss with the employees. Not always massively helpful and make a simple thing hard work.

Very slow service worst one around.

Had to return a cup as it had pink lipstick on it,the second cup was not completely clean,ordered a vegan sausage bap but they toasted it for too long and couldn't eat most of the bap and it was the last one

Asked for a frappe, and was told there was no ice? Chose something else and sat down, 2 minutes later it gets busy and someone else orders a frappe and suddenly they have ice!! Ridiculous!! Ordered a tea, but was given a dirty plate and no milk, my girlfriend ordered a latte and was given a spoon way too small to be usable, ordered separate food but was only given one plate. The whole restaurant had rubbish everywhere, tables not cleaned up and dirty seats. Really seemed like the staff do not care at all here!

Nice little Costa, service helpful and friendly. Cake selection lacking today and the sandwich choice was poor. Cafe clean and tidy as were the toilets. Good seating areas inside and out.

Very nice place for a drink and a break

They just didn't seem to have the selection they usually have.

What's not to like about a Costa? The only issue here is the air conditioning often makes it too cold for my personal taste.

On a rainy Sunday morning, on long weekend away, we travelled 20 minutes (10 miles of lovely country B roads) south from Wells-next-the-Sea (which has no Costa Coffee shop) to this little Costa Coffe shop in Fakenham. It was busy, but despite there only being one experienced Barista, with the other staff very new - so we had a little wait- the Barista and her staff were very friendly and helpful. Oh, and the Cappuccino's and the Mocca were perfect!!! The whole experience made the round trip well worth while. Thank you Costa.

I am so disappointed with this store the manager should be seriously embarrassed shouting at staff on shop floor to me this is not away to talk to staff I assume management has changed recently as I’ve been going to Costa for years and never seen this before I will not be coming to shop again until the manager is replaced Shocking scenes I totally feel sorry for all the staff that work there and should not go thru this at work Finally I’m surprised staff actually stay working there under this bullying.

Had a good, strong cappuccino & a blonde bar. Comfortable seating & reasonably clean table. Good service.

Visited here on holiday. Terribly disorganised. Tables not cleared. I saw several customers clear a table!!! Incredibly slow service.

It's was terrible service and bad food would never come back.bad staff so rude gave us 2 mint milkshakes and we only ordered 1.it was just gross

I like Costa and visit loads of other local stores with no problem but the Fakenham branch for reason have failed to add milk to my coffee on the last 2 visits, staff seem disinterested

Served by a remarkably dismissive lady named daniella or something like that. She made no eye contact, didn’t say please or thank you, didn’t say hello when we walked up to the counter, just incredibly incredibly rude. Can’t believe someone that lacks such basic levels of customer service and people skills can get a job at this otherwise great Costa shop. Shame really, a real put off. The coffee tasted burnt too.

Would be 0 if i could. Disgusting environment with a rude and abrupt american lady serving. Such slow service and then when you do get your coffee its horrible tasting and very bitter. Filthy tables all the time. Having to move dirty used cups so I can actually sit down. Very unprofessional! The male server never smiles, barely talks and appears to let the others do all the work while he's on his phone round the corner ignoring customers. Almost as if they're an inconvenience. Poor work ethic from what ive seen during my visits there. Will be going elsewhere from now on.

Numerous times lately me and my partner have visited each time, staff spend more time chatting to each other rather than greeting customers or acknowledging customers stood waiting. Place is not clean, every table is waiting to be cleared even during quieter times. Coffee not as good as previously years with previous staff. Partner had to wait over 15 minutes for a sausage bap to be toasted, to find out server hadn't even toasted it, again too busy talking to each other. Staff definitely need customer service training aswell as how to make a decent coffee. Won't be returning. If i could put zero stars I would. Definitely gone down hill over the last few months.

Very poor experience at a Costa. The staff member barely spoke to us, she literally didn't utter a word other than the amount to be paid, no hello, no please or thank you, whilst looking utterly bored. I asked for milk, and a small jug was plonked on the tray with a dirty look. Talking of dirty, I don't think the trays have ever been cleaned, ours was absolutely filthy with weeks if not months of dirt and stains. Photo available if management request.

Popped in for a hot drink to go whilst out working, swift service nice hot drink before hitting the road again.

Very rude staff (woman with USA accent), seemed to take offence because I told her the sanitiser was empty, or maybe she is just always rude to customers.

We take our dog to an enclosed field on a Sunday morning, and Costa at Fakenham is only a 10 minute drive from there. Hot chocolate being the usual treat from there. Always friendly helpful staff and good service.

Costa Dereham needs a good deep clean not hygienic dirty tables definitely won't be going back

Great place to stop for coffee and cake. Unfortunately I asked to use the toilets and was pointed in the right direction and ended up having to clean it before I could use it

Staff friendly and coffee good. Selection of food limited as are the number of seats. Furniture looks somewhat tired.

I use Costa a lot, but having three people in front of me and then having to stand and wait for over 15 minutes to get served was a bit much, I noticed that several people came in and left because of the wait and went over to subway to get there coffee, they all got served before me. Plus the young girl who was serving seemed to be on her own a lot of the time. And the tables were grubby and dirty cups left on a lot of tables. Not impressed with Costa's in Fakenham.

Two staff that had no idea And very slow , didn’t get my two simple drink requests right after repeating twice Half a cup Luke warm and semi skimmed When asked for extra hot whole milk , asked if it was whole milk went it was passed to me and they said yes which was a blatant lie as I stood and watched them do my order Traveld 15 miles out my way for the experience!

They make the best salted caramel frostino, i love my friday afternoon treat 😊

Quiet. Tables not cleared Had to wait to be served Latte and cooler ordered Latte good, but had to wait to be given sugar Cooler in glass, overflowing. Extra tissues had to be used as it spilled over table. Not impressed Poorest Costa I’ve been in

Unable to relax and enjoy my mediocre coffee due to a member of staff singing horrifically. First and last time I'll be visiting. Just irritating.

Great service and who can't beat a coffee?

I think Costa’s open-door policy for wasps is essentially floored and needs to be reviewed asap. Once in they seem to get confused and crash around into the glass adjacent to the door and finally perish on the windowsill of death. No mention at all of any of this, when you purchase your wasp friendly sausage and onion toasties and frothy cappuccino that their endless stripy suicide mission will be up close and personal if you are unfortunate to choose the window seats. Come on Costa I am no David Attenborough so I really don’t need to see all this carnage around lunchtime.

Staff are so friendly and polite always a pleasure to be served and the shop is always lovely and clean.

Popped into Fakenham to see tree festival and we were staying nearby. Always have to sample the new Christmas drinks, Black Forest hot chocolate , OMG I’d died and gone to heaven followed off by trillionaires shortbread and hubby had mince pie. Certainly getting into the Xmas mode, staff were dressed up as I believe it was the Xmas switch on of lights.

I've been to this Costa a few times, but my last latte I had there was definitely not up to the normal Costa Coffee standard.

It's a Costa. We all know how these are. This one has very friendly staff and that 5mins I was there getting my coffee felt really refreshing.

Visited looking for something to have for a quick lunch. Delighted by the friendly and happy staff. Made a made me a great Latte and a cheese and ham toastie. Well used by the locals. Close to several car parks and town centre. serve standard Costa menu.

Grabbed a coffee and sandwich on the go - nothing much to say about this, as almost all Costas are the same. However, the staff were friendly and helpful.
