Very over priced compared to a local bakery wasn't told some of the things I had bought were vegan until paid for . The custard apple crumble tart was bland tasteless and really hard . I actually binned it after a few mouthfuls. Really disappointed as I paid 19 pounds for a few items won't go back again

Thought it strange that the products didn’t have any price labels, we bought a pasty a sausage roll and two jam doughnuts, we were charged over £9. When I asked the reason it was so much I was told pasty was over £3. Lesson learnt, I won’t go there to be ripped off again.

I was feeling peckish , and my bus wasn’t due for 45 minutes , so I popped in for a bite . Warmly greeted. I ordered a toasted teacake and a cup of tea. I paid and sat down. Within a few minutes my tea arrived ,followed swiftly by the biggest toasted teacake I have ever seen . It tasted as good as it looked . Spot on . The lady didn’t stand behind the counter awaiting her next customer ,but, came around the cafe side , to clean the paintwork. Very impressed. I will certainly pop in again.

I popped into the Flour and Bean ,before going to the cinema. It was a spur of the moment decision. I was treated to a warm and friendly welcome and was shown to my table, the tuna sandwich I ordered was very good. But, the thing that stood our was the attitude of All the staff towards not just me ,but, all their customers . I was made to feel comfortable and valued. Yes it was just a tuna sandwich this time hence only a very good rating , but, I am itching to try one of their lunches next time. Well done, and thank you

Lovely staff along with excellent food. What my partner doesn’t know about sausage rolls is not worth knowing, and these are up there with the best! Coffee, cakes, sandwiches are delicious. Staff are very friendly a credit to the owners. Thank you

Stopped here as a group of four adults and a baby. The waitresses were very friendly despite our constant mind changing. The warm cheese straws were the highlight of the visit. Everyone enjoyed their rolls and toasted paninis. The cakes looked delicious.

Only two other customers when we arrived. The table next to us still had the remnants of someone's snack & drinks. When the other customers left we anticipated their table would be cleared, but no such luck! Two girls busying themselves behind the counter and catching each other up with the latest on the soap operas. All together a very disappointing visit.

My first visit drawn in by the window offer of a bacon or sausage in a roll and tea or coffee. Unlike others I found the staff courteous and the food and coffee was brought to my table so all in all it was ok and certainly not served in a tatty or unkempt environment

Hadn't been here for a few months. After a luke-warm cup of overpriced (50p more than advertised) coffee,I remembered why. On my last visit I was served a coffee with streaks down the side, when I pointed this out I was told it wasn't there when I was served.Don't think I'll go again.

Whenever I have been in here it has been untidy and scruffy. The coffee is quite mediocre too but the bread and cakes are fine.

Food is OK but the place was cold and small children running around on hard floor and squealing makes for a noisy experience.

Great little bacon bap and mug of tea whilst waiting for my bus. Cant be beaten! Great service and coffee has always been good here. Use this local instead of Costa across th road. At least Flour and Bean pay their corporation tax!

Friendly staff, piping hot strong coffee and the best sausage rolls I have ever tasted (I went for pork and apple sausage rolls - well worth it).

We found this fantastic pub whilst staying at a nearby caravan park, and I'm so glad we did. The setting is wonderful beside the broads. Shame it was chucking it down whilst we were there. The service was impeccable. Staff were all very accommodating. The food was amazing. Large portions, so beware. We had no room for pudding. I had the chicken Caesar salad, amazing. My father plumped for the pie and he said he'd never seen such an array of veggies on his plate. Other dishes sampled included the scampi, and my son had a burger from the children's menu, said it was the best he'd ever eaten. Thoroughly recommend giving the Bell a try, you won't regret it.

From the moment we walked into this restaurant we were greeted by very friendly helpful staff. Karolina, Sam & Jennie, thank you for providing us with first class service! The restaurant was well presented and there was a great choice on the menu. Our food arrived promptly, presented well and was delicious. The staff were attentive throughout. We even returned the following day for breakfast which was also well cooked and delicious. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

I was staying in the area and had lunch here four times. The experience in terms of service and food was variable. With regards to service, there is an older waitress who needs more training and does not know the menu very well. She seemed very unsure of herself and had trouble recording our order, having to repeat ourselves several times. Answers to our reasonably basic questions about the menu were "I think so..." and that did not fill us with much confidence. The younger waitresses were very good, attentive and friendly - so something must be going well in terms of staff training. We were also given warm tap water with no ice on a hot, summer day. This was partly due to the high price of drinks - £3.10 for canned drinks and £5.75+ for a milkshake. The surf and turf burger was really good - I would recommend this, as the crayfish, pawns and burger were lovely with the sauce. This was consistently good. The gammon, egg, chips and peas was also yummy and good value. The meat was well-cooked, as were the chips. The haddock was really nice on one occasion, with light and crispy batter. But on another occasion the batter was hard and overcooked, accompanied by cold chips and peas.

Food was nice and on time, but not all the items were available. I ordered food for myself and wife and only my wife’s drink was delivered. I had no contact by just eat or costa to give me the chance to order something different. I just had a note on the receipt stating they were unavailable and to claim my money back through just eat which will be reviewed in the next 7 days…. Overall not great.
