Visited recently for a Sunday roast, best roast we’ve had in a long time and we’ve had a fair few! Portions were a great size, nice to have cauliflower cheese included, good service too - would 100% recommend

This was my third visit, here. We booked a couple of weeks ahead, as the place gets very busy on Friday nights and over the weekend. Unfortunately, we were allocated a rather pokey table in the corner, so were overlooked by staff a fair bit in the beginning, and had to ask to be brought the cocktail and food menus. However, the cocktails were great (always have been) and the food arrived relatively prompt after ordering. Our staff member, Arron was a delight and definitely made up for the shortfalls earlier in the evening. He made some suggestions as to our order, and seemed very happy to entertain and have a bit of friendly banter. There was a music act later in the evening, which was a nice addition, but proved to be a little loud as the singer was situated so close to our table, hence making conversation tricky. Will definitely be returning again, but most likely on a week night, when quieter.

Great pizza, pasta, burgers and salads - lots of choice on the menu with kids options and alternatives offered for special dietary requirements (I don't know if they can cater for coeliacs thought, as all food seemed to be prepped in one kitchen). We had halloumi burgers with chips instead of the rocket salad mentioned; bolognese and penne; and a halloumi and pancetta salad. We ended with macarons and coffee - everything was delicious and good value. We ate in the outdoor seating area as it was a very warm evening and inside may have been too warm. Good value, very nice place!

Queríamos una estancia de 2 noches en nuestra caravana porque estábamos apoyando a nuestra hija en la regata de remo Uni en Holme Pierrepoint. Solo llamamos con 20 minutos de antelación, pero tuvimos una bienvenida muy cálida y entusiasta! Nos aparcamos en un rincón agradable y tranquilo del aparcamiento - y rápidamente descubrimos que estábamos a solo 5 minutos a pie para los perros del Rockley Memorial Park y la reserva natural de abajo - también a solo 50 minutos a pie rural de Holme Pierrepoint - que era perfecto. Nuestra hija se unió a nosotros para tomar unas copas en la cervecería y cenar con los perros en el pub. La bienvenida para los perros y el servicio eran fantásticos y súper amables - y la comida era absolutamente delicioso. Tuvimos pan de ajo, ensalada de queso de cabra y calamares de sal y pimienta para empezar, y chuleta de cerdo chargilled, filete de carne y pastel de res y setas silvestres (en la foto) para la red - y toda la comida era spot - en. ¡Sólo lamento que no haya lugar para pudín! La noche siguiente nuestra hija desafortunadamente terminó en A & E del remo, así que tuvimos que quedarnos con ella - pero The Radcliffe estaban felices de que nos quedáramos otra noche a pesar de no poder comer o beber con ellos. Sin duda nos alojaremos la próxima vez que estemos en la zona - Muy recomendable!

The meals are fantastic. The staff are friendly and dedicated to the most honorable customer service anyone could ever have. The best pub ìn West Bridgford. It is well worth coming to eat drink and be entertained.

Visited for a wedding reception. The Buffet was delicious. Service was good, staff were all helpful and friendly. Car parking isn't very well lit or explained. We read a review about getting a parking ticket so spent 20 minutes faffing about getting one. Only to realise we could just add our car registration at the bar for no fee

We were very disappointed with our visit on Sunday. We booked a table a month in advance for a 40th birthday get together. It was very busy, cramped and very noisy. Our table was wobbly and small. The staff were all very grumpy, unfriendly and rushed off their feet. We all had the roast dinner. The pork came and was a huge chop like slice of pork! I had the chicken and it was a very small portion and it wasn't very well presented on the plate, seemed to have been thrown on the plate. The gravy was like water! The dessert menu was extremely limited with mainly ice cream! After ordering dessert it took ages to arrive! Staff were bumping into our chairs throughout and it was too noisy to carry a conversation! Definitely will not be back! I wouldn't recommend this pub 😡

First meal after lockdown and was fantastic in every way. Food, staff and atmosphere just perfect and felt like a real treat after such a long time.I could have chosen anything off the menu as all looked so good. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary here with family and friends. The Griffin staff (Tara in particular) were so helpful in planning the arrangements and on the day. The service was perfect and food delicious. No empty plates ! Thank you again to everyone at the Griffin and see you soon.

The meal I had here was incredibly enjoyable and the staff were extremely friendly. I believe my servers name was Jose and he made my experience here just that bit better. I got the Niçoise salad which was fabulous and one of the best meals that I’ve had in Nottingham. My friend said that the burger was also good !! The location is great and the outdoor seating is lovely when the sun is out. I can see why this place is so popular.

I dined at Botanist tonight and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The ambiance was warm and inviting, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. Live music and decor created great atmosphere. Will definitely come back !

Excellent restaurant in West Bridgford. 4 of us popped in after cricket, nit having booked but they found a table for 4 and we had z most enjoyable meal. Service was great very attentive but not in your face. Will definitely be back after next game
