Decent pub grub nothing fancy. OK if you like football with your meal

This is a solid 4 star pub and will be going again. Staff were fantastic and friendly. Food was your normal standard pub grub and very good price with good deals on. It came out fast and hot and tasted delicious. Pints were reasonably priced. Lots of parking at the back and covered smoking area outside. Large inside so lots of seats out the way for a quite pint and burger. If you like weatherspoons you will like this place. If your looking for some good grub, few pints and a chilled out place I would recommend. If you are a family with kids I would also recommend as prices are very good and have booth seats for a family dinner. All in all I would recommend to all.

Been coming here regularly for the last few years and don't really have anything bad to say about it. Great pub, amazing staff & good food. If you're after a lively sporting atmosphere or prefer a quiet drink, they offer both. The only negative is that they used to have a fantastic breakfast menu. Unfortunately they had to stop doing that. Otherwise, they have a good range of food and have been experimenting with different veggie options over the years. Drinks wise, they have a few greene king ales (obviously), the occasional guest ale and the usual mix of bitters, lagers, ciders and stouts you'd expect. Finally, I'd like to commend their staff, a great bunch of folks who make you feel welcome everytime. Definitely wouldn't come back as much if the staff weren't the wonderful bunch of people they are.

Having booked a table we arrived and the table we had booked had not been reserved so we had to move to a different table, which was very dirty and sticky. The Sunday roast was very disappointing , nothing like the picture on the menu, the potatoes had obviously been sitting around for some time as they were very hard on the outside, the 'turkey' was processed meat, not fresh turkey. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would struggle to give a 2 and we definitely won't be coming back.

Food and service was amazing, although it was busy due to the run up of the football kick off, the service was still quick and the food was great. My young Son who is extremely fussy and has a milk allergy was catered for very well. The staff are lovely and were happy to help. This is a great family friendly pub! It was our first time here but we will definitely be back!

Tbh, i was a bit apprehensive about visiting here after a disappointing visit years ago however, i can totally recommend. The food was great, super prices, good service. See you tomorrow for Sunday lunch!

Wine went back twice before it came in a clean glass. Very basic food not great quality. Wouldn't come again. Waiting staff polite only positive going foe the place

Honestly one of the best pubs I’ve visited in Nottingham recently. The food was on point and the service from Sam & Jo was brilliant. Would 100% recommend !

What a find ! We were in the area visiting the local VW garage and thought we would give the Wolds a try for a drink and a spot of lunch. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. We ordered our meals from the main menu which are great value. The food arrived within a few minutes and was piping hot and really tasty. My draught bitter was spot on too with a creamy head. We rounded our visit off with a latte and will definitely return when visiting family nearby. Well done the Wolds !

Visited with family to celebrate my graduation from Nottm Uni. Sean and the team did a fanatic job in finding us a table and enough space to seat all 9 of us. The menu is great value for money and the portion sizes are more than adequate. The staff we very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good range of beers, now including Madri! Always have the sports on with plenty of big screens. Friendly staff who know the regulars. Currently some very good deals on meals.

A friend and I had Sunday Lunch at The Wolds for the first time today (Sunday, 8th September). We both ordered Roast Beef with the usual roast potatoes, yorkshire pudding and veg. The only positive thing about the meal was that the beef was tender and tasted ok. The roasties were dry, the mash was very unappealing to look at and did not taste like proper potatoes, the yorkshire pudding was obviously frozen and the vegetables were tasteless. A very disappointing meal altogether. I intended taking a photo but unfortunately I didn't .

Great evening with the family for some super food at a fantastic price. A good atmosphere and nice staff. Some of the food was substituted when it wasn't available on the menu but was not a problem. We've eaten here a few times during week day evenings and feel for price and quality it's a great place to come in West Bridgford.

We came to eat on sun 25th there were flies everywhere we did mention it to the bar staff and waiter discusting when you are eating we won't be coming again. We sat next to another family of 4 and they also complained not happy at all

Lovely place can’t rate it enough

Popped in for a quick bite and was ot disappointed. Sizzler deals on a Tuesday. The Southern fried chicken was tender and tasty. Fresh chips,a Mexican pasta.salad. The Chinese mixed spice added some extra flavour, and I really like the kick of the Piri Piri. All washed down with some IPA. Incredible value and the service with a smile too. Thank you.

Was amazing and friendly especially Jess, a bar staff that went above and beyond, even though it was busy to make sure we got her drinks, the waitress Jamilee always had a smile and was so polite and made us feel so welcome and happy

Cracking place , came for a couple after the football and had the steak mix it up. One of the best steaks I’ve had, and at this price fantastic value for money . We will be back

My sister and I Went. To your restaurant and nobody wanted to serve us. My sister went to the bar to order our food and was ignored twice! I approach the young lady and she totally ignored me too! I went up to her again, The bartender /waiters asked me is there a problem and I told her yes, we have been waiting a good 10 minutes for somebody to service us! We were totally ignored and I asked her Is it because we're black??! and she didn't know what to Say🤔 My sister was so upset. We left immediately and said we'd leave you a review. You need to train your staff better than this, The bartender in question was tall with short blonde hair.She had a checkered shirt and Trousers). We didn't see any other Black people in this restaurant and I don't know what was going on but I will not be coming back to your restaurant ever again!! My. Sister and her husband live in West bridgford! and I will tell all my friends about what happened to us? So you need to retrain your staff to accept people of all colours and creeds.!!!🤔😟 this happened last week Friday 2nd of August at Lunchtime 🤨

Overall the service is good immaculate the food is of highest quality and is al aye nice and hot when coming out, the atmosphere is very welcoming with everyone being polite and friendly

Ordered the ‘Millionaires Cheesecake ‘ but added the Chocolate fluffy cream. The cream wasn’t fluffy and it wasn’t chocolate flavoured. Came out with the wrong dinner and pudding. Confronted them twice. Was okay food but wouldn’t come here again.

Wonderful food, service and people. Easy to park and very thoughtful staff Providing everything we needed for a small baby including additional space for a pram etc.

Normally ok but today my steak was the worst I have ever had anywhere tough fatty gristle. I wondered why it had been cut into strips the rest of my plate was ok. There did not seem to be anybody to speak to just one lady trying to serve everybody at the bar. My son's bacon looked like it had been waved over a match almost raw.

Peas like bullets,chicken tasteless, chips fine coleslaw ok.

Straightforward, good menu, great value. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Calm atmosphere. Ate away from the bar.

We've beeb here so many times now. It does get very busy at times. Please be patient the Staff do their best. Going there with family (from Australia 8 of us) should have a great party.

The meal was tasty and a good size. The problem is it was not hot. No one asked about the meal and got the feeling they didn't really care. The table was cleaned but still very sticky which put me off.

Went in to watch the FA cup with my brothers. Nice place the food is always good 👍 good selection of drinks, good access, nice garden for the kids at the back and plenty of seating out front for the adults

I had the mini mixed grill. My wife, the chicken new yorker. The menu describes both dishes as including chicken breasts. Beware! These are not chicken breasts but reconstituted chicken and taste fowl (pun intended). Very disappointing. Won't be coming back.

A very large, friendly, relaxed pub which would suit families, groups, couples or a single person drinking and/or dining alone. The food was a good standard in taste and portion sizes and very good value for money.
