Had a really good value meal on ‘Mix it Up Tuesday’. Southern Fried Chicken Skewers with chips and onion rings. Food arrived in 10 minutes, was plentiful and piping hot. Even got blue light discount off the price. Great service by Ed.

We come here regularly as a family but I also visit with friends to on occasions. Never been disappointed always a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and decent food. It's my sons favourite place whenever I say shall we go out for food he says "let's go see Jamie at the wolds" all the staff are nice to talk to and always happy to help. We visited yesterday for lunch then was back there today for easter bunny breakfast which my son also loved!

Great experience for Easter with a free drink and gift of an Easter egg from the bunny for my grandson. Excellent food served promptly with helpful cheerful staff

Usually come for dinner and that’s great. This time we came for breakfast and it was fantastic! The service was great. Staff were incredible. Especially the Easter bunny.

This place is disgusting. And to say its in west bridgeford. First off the woman serving, well when she eventually did was to busy round other end of the bar chatting away. Them the state of the place is just awful gonna post a few pictures. Look at that video how many weeks it must of took to have a build up of sticky dirt like that. WOW 🤒 🤢 🤮

Where to start… The atmosphere was really nice, nice decor and such. The service was top notch, with polite waiters and very quick and prompt service. However, what they gave me today was not what I expected. I chose a half chicken jerk with chicken wings smothered in jerk chicken sauce with a mango chutney like sauce, spicy rice and coleslaw. It was not at all what I ordered. The chicken was thoroughly cooked however the half chicken had barely any jerk seasoning and was covered in what looked like nutmeg?? The sauce they covered my wings in was sour and disgusting and the rice was sticky?? Even the coleslaw was runny and the mango chutney was the only thing that was at least “okay”. I won’t be going there ever again.

My family and I visited here today and for value for money, 5 stars. They do various food offers throughout the week and on a Sunday it’s 2 roasts for £13.99. Cheap and cheerful. No complaints at all for the money. We’ve paid double that elsewhere. The drinks and puddings are very reasonably priced also. We did find the turkey dinner tastier than the beef for a top tip. There’s a great kids menu also.

Yes, we had a good meal here. Staff was spot on and friendly. Not many people I'm at the time, but we did like the feel of the pub. Definitely will go back there.

I have been to the pub 3times .Waiters have poor customer service.They assume the customers knows orders are placed using apps .They dont even smile or check if you like the food or not .I have never been in a place and be treated as if am eating for free .Bar service 10/10 .Food 9/10 .Service 3/10.

Often come in for a beer and a bite to eat. Always friendly service and good food/ drink. Have all the games on and there is a season ticket so you get a discount on drinks during the matches.

The wolds is definitely one of the best pubs/restaurants around the area of west bridgford! Always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are great! Sam one of the managers is especially so as is always happy to help, nice to talk with and it is evident she works hard to make the wolds what it is, with the help of the other staff and managers it makes for a great pub to drink/dine in!

Come here roughly 3 or 4 times a week. Always made to feel welcome by staff. Great venue for darts, pool and sport and plenty of alcohol.

Went on Wednesday grill meals for £10. Had a 12oz steak. Cooked lovely. No fat. Would recommend going.

Went to the wolds with my family for dinner and the service and experience was exceptional, the gentlemen behind the bar ( Conor ) was very friendly and made us all feel welcomed. The food was fantastic and the whole experience was 10/10 we will definitely be visiting again!

Lovely place Came here today for first time , very friendly welcome , ordered full breakfast and a cappuccino , which only cost £5 Food was freshly cooked , on a warm plate and served with a smile !! It was delicious !!First Hungry horse breakfast , will not be the last !!

11 months ago our visit here was good. Today it was far from that. It took two attempts to get clean cutlery, and the salt cellar coated in grease. My partner had to get wet wipes from the car to clean the cutlery. We ordered two steaks and a fish and chips. Both steaks cooked incorrectly, and the fish was from the freezer. The plates were room temperature. No matter how polite the waitress was, it doesn't make up for crud.

Came for a visit yesterday (Thursday). Food, drinks and service was absolutely amazing!! Massive shout out to Emma, and the team who all went above and beyond. Made us feel so welcome!!

Came in after all the restrictions had been lifted and they’ve handled it perfectly the transition and been swift and made a lot easier by the staff and it is still a safe and warm welcome when I’ve arrived and treated beautifully by the staff especially Conor who was on the bar and very polite

Absolutely awful.. from the service to the food. We booked a table, which they didn’t actually save for us. Which is fine as there was plenty spare, a very miserable server showed us to the table and took our drinks order. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Waited for someone to come and take our food order which no one came. We had to get up and go to the bar to ask someone to come and take our order. Food took a while to arrive. And was extremely tasteless. Even after this terrible service and tasteless food we decided to have a pudding. Again waited for the servers to arrive which they didn’t. And we ended up going to the bar and paying as no one was at all bothered to come back to us. The place was dead. There was no excuse whatsoever for such poor service. It’s safe to say we won’t be returning.

Came out for a family meal as it’s the first time we have been able to meet since COVID, we popped into the Wolds as we have eaten here beans never had an issue, we were met by Sean who advised us on how to check in and we enquired if we could order in person and not through the app as I was having issues with it on my phone and were told we could. With 2 vegetarians in the group there is a lot of choice. The halloumi salad was huge and was more than generous with the halloumi, my dad had the veggie burger and loved it (he can be a bit of a whinger) and I had the chicken New Yorker. Amazing, staff very friendly and very satisfied with the service we had.

Was took out for fathers day meal I had a beef Sunday lunch it was amazing! My wife had cod and chips and my daughter had a burger. All food was hot and presented very well. Amazing value for money and staff were very helpful even though they was really busy! We was greeted by sam at the door she went through everything with us and showed us how to use the app. Keep up the good work already got my next table booked for saturday. Highly recommend!

Took ages to take our order.. A lot of items unavailable. Had to remind to bring drinks. Spilt wine with no apology or replacement. Loud argument in the kitchen. Sizzling dish was just warm , not sizzling!.. Cheap, but you get what you pay for!... Poor quality, poor service, local pub, good for cheap drinks. Would not eat there again. Processed microwaved food

All staff lovely, attentive, and friendly. The food was honestly great, and amazing value for money. Everything came out in good time and was just really great, and I would really highly recommend it. Random, but it was really clean, and everyone following covid guidelines, which is fab to see! Even though they are busy, they are doing their absolute best, and excelling in it! It's hard for these teams to do everything required for covid safety and also by law, but they are doing it with a smile on their face. I understand as I run my own restaurant, and it is tough in these trying times.All staff I interacted with were so lovely, especially Emma. We sat near the entrance and heard her dealing with guests at the door. To say she has the patience of a saint is underrated! She dealt with everyone in the same friendly and attentive manner, no matter how rude some guests were!All-round great visit, lovely pub and highly recommend :)

Came into the wolds today for a spot of lunch, we need to use our Tesco Clubcard vouchers so couldn’t order on the app, Katy was brilliant and took our order for us and sorted everything out. Food was amazing and didn’t take too long to come out. Thank you the wolds :).

We met in the Wolds after the restrictions had kept us away. We thought things might be different but no, the ship ran tighter still. Thanks to all staff but especially, Tammy, Sam and manager Sean (who helped his team out despite not being on duty). The food and the atmosphere was great as always. We'll be back!

Visited with the family for Sunday tea. We were greeted at the door and asked to book in using NHS track and trace app. Gave us confidence in the pub and the staff and customers were all wearing masks. We ate off the main menu and the food came out piping hot and quickly. Presentation good too. Pub was busy and the staff were obviously working hard to get food and drinks to customers tables. Thanks to Tammy. Amy and Sean the boss for a great afternoon. Great to have you back open again!

Booked in at the Wolds via the easy to use app. Menu very extensive and delicious burgers 2 for 1 on Fridays. Couldn’t believe how tasty they were for what we paid. Staff very friendly, especially the manager who couldn’t do enough for us. The pub was well laid out with Covid measures. Will definitely be visiting again on a Monday as their delicious steaks are also 2 for 1. Great pint of draught ale too. Well done the Wolds!

Rang the pub as a last minute thing they could accommodate. Which was brilliant. Fantastic greeting and covid secure. Lovely food as always and still a good atmosphere to say we are still restricted.

A great pub which was a good find, new to the area so been going to different pubs in the area and this one is the best yet. All screens were showing the football which made me stop inside instead of outside like last few weeks at other pubs. A new regular has been found here. Thank you

When your boys 12 and he wants to go to the wolds for his birthday we couldn’t say No but was a little apprehensive about everything until we walked through the door and seen our regular faces who made us feel welcome has always. Nice food as always and even better pint from the pump.

Once again a really nice meal presented and very warm. Tammy the kitchen manager has been her some years and we have always seen and had nice meals over the years leaving the kitchen. Today we got helped along by the team with track and trace but everyone made us feel welcome and doing these things wasn’t a burden to them. See you again soon and keep up the good work.
