I visited these tearooms with my daughters on Friday 24th May. I have been to other tea shops in Bakewell, but Toscas is by far the best. We had afternoon tea for three of us, we sat outside in the court yard. The afternoon tea arrived and there was lots of lovely cake and sandwiches, beautifully presented, and our host friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We really enjoyed our afternoon tea, very civilised, we will defiantly be visiting again. In fact we will have a day out to bakewell just to visit Toscas .

Great food. Lovely staff. Dog friendly. Definitely be going back. The roast beef was 👌 fabulous

My wife and I stopped here for a late breakfast/early lunch during our third visit to Bakewell over the last few years. I had a breakfast and my wife had a Tuna Sandwich. The breakfast was as good as one could hope for, freshly cooked and quite a platefull. Tuna sandwich was delicious and very filling. Served with a pot of tea for two, all for under £20. The service was equally good and I would recommend this establishment to all.

A lovely café run by Nick, who gave us a lovely warm greeting and then set about delivering drinks and mince pies to the eight of us in an unflustered fashion. A lovely café stop.

Decided to have dinner in the restaurant as we had an overnight stay in the hotel.Not a big menu but enough choice.Food was well cooked and of good quality. Decent sized portions that came on hot plates. For dessert we had the bakewell pudding that...

Very welcoming and tasty food! Were great with our 18 month old and brought her food out quickly. Thanks for a great meal!

What a disappointment!! Soup burnt my mouth Toastie was 9.45 for two poor pieces of bread, very little tasteless filling and dry salad Water is from Costco and charged at £1.95! Female staff member had no hospitality skills and after telling her I was underwhelmed, no apology or manager came over even after telling them I burnt my mouth! Won't be back. I recommend Chakra instead

When i came in today, a young lady called Katie? ( i overheard her name so apologies if this is wrong) served me and she was absolutely brilliant , very friendly, polite and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely little cafe with excellent food and good service perfect for a lovely lunch. I had the Bacon and Brie Oat cake was delicious. Will visit again next time in Bakewell

Purchased a 99 and one for my partner from the van £10 what a rip off when challenged answered very arrogant it is Bakewell and I pay £40,000 for pitch. Rubbish ice cream and even worse service. Never again.
