What a disappointment!! Soup burnt my mouth Toastie was 9.45 for two poor pieces of bread, very little tasteless filling and dry salad Water is from Costco and charged at £1.95! Female staff member had no hospitality skills and after telling her I was underwhelmed, no apology or manager came over even after telling them I burnt my mouth! Won't be back. I recommend Chakra instead

Popped to Bakewell and found this place, Coffee was nice and strong no aftertaste and we both ordered Panini’s 10/10 is not enough. Then decided I needed to try the apple pie and was an absolute pleasure to the last mouthful 👏👏

Popped in after an epic drive, needed banging good coffee and a cake (you know how it is). Coffee was bloody marvellous, hats off you need to shout about that. Bakewell tart really let you down, dry and a sad representation of what a Bakewell tart should be.

Stopped here for a coffee and a piece of shortbread and had a lovely welcome from the staff. Drinks were good, the shortbread delicious and the shop is lovely to wander around. Worth a visit

My wife and I were off work today, 27/11/23 Monday. We decided to go to Bakewell for the first time. Shopping in the pouring rain?????? Decided to have lunch here and was pleasantly surprised with the welcome. Staff were very polite, service was quick and the food was very nice. Would certainly go there again and recommend to our friends.

After Looking around the Wonderful Market. Were Hungry. My Friend had a Good Toasted Sandwich. I had a Fine Potato & Leek Soup. Which came with Quality Bread. Both had Coffees. Really Enjoying Myself. Had Wonderful Coffee Cake Too. Friendly & Attentive Service.

Wow, what a little gem of a find. A drink and a slice of cake. Very reasonable price. Owner very accomodating, staff very polite and efficient

The place is lovely, staff were considerate & friendly, food was well priced and very tasty. We sat in the secret garden part of the cafe and it was very nice. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quick lunch in bakewell.

Visited Bakewell today and called in this Cafe for a coffee and seeing the cakes etc decided to have one of those as well. The place was very clean and tidy and choice of food excellent at very reasonable prices. The owner was very pleasant and said his favourite was the Blueberry muffins which I had to agree with him, they were fresh and good size for the money, the coffees were excellent value as well. We will certainly call again when in Bakewell and can highly recommend it.

white hot chocolate is beautiful and has a variety of coffees and syrups. a really sweet place to stop for drinks! the place is full of personality & would recommend to people wanting to stop by for a drink. lovely small business!

We arrived sat down no attempt was made to clear our table intact there was a lot of dirty plates piled up where customers had moved them off the table. We ordered food which to be fair was quite tasty but it took them nearly 10 minutes to provide us with any cutlery luckily for us we could eat most of our lunch with our fingers. Service was dreadful

A cosy spot popular with locals and regular visitors. Centrally situated and with friendly staff and good service. Nice coffee too!

Had lunch sitting outside in the dog friendly patio area. Service was excellent, staff are friendly and efficient. Food really tasty.

Had a lovely few coffees and tea in the raised courtyard/decking at the back. Very dog friendly and lovely staff. Will most deffinately be back.

Had a late lunch here on a wet day, not long before the kitchen closed. The staff were friendly and there was a good menu choice (sandwiches, toasties, jacket potatoes, hot and cold drinks plus sweet things). The food arrived quickly and was delicious. On the other side of the cafe you can purchase cards and gifts. There is an interesting selection to choose from.

A good place for a sandwich or coffee stop. I had the Jacket potato and it was lovely. Friendly staff. I would give 5 stars if the toilet door closed properly.

Pleasant premises in Bakewell, good polite and efficient service. Range of drinks and snacks etc on offer. One small problem is that they are quite expensive. Normal pot of tea £2.95, sandwiches from £7.45.
