The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Midlands

Went yesterday evening to look at clothes and couldn't believe the mess the whole area was in. Clothes all on floor and empty coat hangers some of which were in centre of walking area causing a danger if someone slipped on one. Defiantly need staff keeping area tidy it gives wrong impression to customers.

Went in to have a coffee with my partner even though we were sitting in was served coffee in takeout cups, not what I would expect from Costa

Cafe looks nice with nice modern clean decor, sadly the food falls below average Pie was okay, vegetables were tasteless and the mash they failed to mash on both mine and my wife's meals (Lumpy, hard and cold)

Ummmmm disappointing. Female bar server unfriendly and does not top up your drinks and thus very surly if you ask for this to be done . Has she not seen the recent survey about people being shortchanged ??? If this continues we won’t be coming back. Staff training in customer service required particularly bearing in the mind the summer is coming 🙀. Maybe hospitality is not the ideal job.

Seemed cold. No toilet paper in the loos and drinks were like hot milk.

Always a friendly atmosphere and polite staff.

Service is absolutely awful, rude staff

This is shabby chic, with less emphasis on the chic. We stayed for one night and had dinner. The stair carpet is disgusting, as is the bannister at the top of the stairs, heavy with grease of a thousands of hands. The place is tired and old fashioned and needs decorating and updating. The food was actually better than average pub-grub, and whilst service was good, the staff were very pleasant but had no idea of the items on the menu. The breakfast was actually very good indeed. It suited our requirements, but I wouldn't make a special journey to stay or dine here. It needs a refurbishment.

This spot is great for when your going on a long distance drive or even just coming for some food. Great service and well made food. was delivered phenomenally fast and staff were extremely respectful. There was one especially think her name was lilly she was humorous and very respectful and i will definitely be coming here again.

Cant even rate the service... the member of staff taking the food orders was very RUDE to myself and family then she served cold fried breakfast she was not approachable at all because of her attitude..we will not return

Came to Bolsover for the day on my wife's birthday to have a pub lunch and to visit the castle. Having read the positive reviews we went straight to the Blue Bell. Walking into the beer garden at about 11.50 we saw that the view on a good day would be spectacular. Unfortunately the weather was bad so in order to eat inside we went to the door marked ‘Entrance’ which was locked. I checked on line and saw the opening time was 12 am (??)  so we waited. A few minutes after 12 the back door opened and we entered only to be told there was no food (no reason given). Although there was a sign at the bar, a notice outside would have saved time being wasted. Fortunately there are other places to eat so we went elsewhere.

Came down and had an amazing time!! Rebecca was my server and she was absolutely fantastic!! The food was absolutely stunning and they had a great drinks selection! If you’re ever down that way please pop in, it was amazing! From one Rebecca to all Rebecca’s, go down to the lion and snake!

Lack of atmosphere at this Costa. Always requires areas cleaning where you sit. You have to make sure they top the teapots with water fully up or you get short changed. Bad idea with the parking charges. Would rather go to Rainworth branch. They have lost many customers with this.

A nice dog friendly area to the left as you walk in. It’s all a bit wooden and old fashioned ( in a typical chain pub way) and the prices are on the high side. The staff were friendly but I was left a little underwhelmed.

Cassie and the team at the vale are absolutely brilliant , great atmosphere and always a warm welcome. Food choice is excellent but i always recommend the carvery, the best in Nottingham BY FAR! Dog friendly too, and a pool table and darts as a new addition to the place is a game changer! Can’t recommend the place enough!
