Went in to have a coffee with my partner even though we were sitting in was served coffee in takeout cups, not what I would expect from Costa

Called yesterday , a Costa so no surprises . Unfortunately they have a problem with flies , they were a nuisance . So won't call for a while .

The coffee needs to be stronger. The flavours are amazing but, could definitely use a lil more.

Very neglected at front with weeds and dirty paving. The staff also seem to be very poorly trained, the member of staff who served me didn't know what a Double Espresso was.

Great place fora coffee and some food. Staff lovely. Love drive thru as well. Great service.

Convenient placed Costa to call in for a drink/bite to eat, always seems lots of staff working with friendly and quick service.

Lovely place but always seems short staffed on a Saturday morning. Have to wait aaaaaggess for your drinks making :/ so that's a dropped ⭐

Just a great service, Sam and the rest of the staff are fabulous and create a nice relaxed atmosphere and were fun which I think is important. A credit to Costa!!

I recommend that you consider avoiding retailers at the meteor centre. There is a parking restriction that is NOT well publicised. You risk a parking fine of £60 if you stay a little bit too long.

Absolutely awful, ordered 2 hot chocolate and 2 millionaire shortcakes Nearly £15!! Hot choc looked lovely but was barley even warm and tasted like puddle waters I don’t get the hype? I’ll be sticking with local independent cafe’s from now on and won’t ever return here. Tasteless, cold, bland, over priced rubbish

One of you slightly busier Costa's that has a drive thru. Overall very happy but often, because their busier they never clear and clean the tables enough, hence why it gets 4 stars.

Ordered a large white mocha charged for it. When I got back to have my drink it's just a normal coffee. No number to contact the store anywhere online. No email and the customer service isn't taking calls. You literally have the one job at making coffee. Make it right.

So where does it say on the Web or the door that the place closes at 6.30pm Either update the times or stay open when it says

2nd time ordered via Just eat.... No customer service available EVER at Costa and yet again NO delivery ,Strongly advise anyone to never use this service again as its cheaper and more reliable at Morrisons.

The syrup hadn't been fully stirred in so the main drink was bland but then the last inches was basically syrup 😬

This is a very popular Costa with very friendly staff but unfortunately they need to dedicate a member of staff to clear/clean the tables for new customers.

I have ordered this morning at 915 still waiting phones off still saying order will be delivered at 1035 its now 1120 when try and cancel and get a refund it says you will still be charged how can they do that.

Always pop in for a drink and cake at weekends, got my birthday treat cake as I use the app. Only fault I found was that the service staff were talking quite loudly about customers they had served that day and it was not polite. Tables could be cleared quicker too.

This particular branch of Costa has really deteriorated. Disabled toilet has been out of order for many weeks. Refrigerator always seems to be broken. For several days only offering takeaway due to the block toilet !! Not a good experience

Drive through was a bit slow to work through. Asked for 3 drinks and 2 came without milk (even though asked for it).

Costa coffee, nice coffee. Tends to be a little busy at times, but staff are friendly and you know what your going to get

One of the best Costas! I travel all over the country for my job, and this is by far one of the cleanest, friendliest and efficient branches I’ve ever visited. Delightful, polite staff who work quickly and with fabulous customer service. A shining example for the brand 🥰

Been a few times for the normal short meeting information exchange, that can't be conducted on the phone, unfortunately this place doesn't work for me, tables always sticky and the general cleanliness is not there ! Not a reflection on the staff, as I assume they are all too busy.... and as with most places today..

What an amazing team came in today with my baby, who unfortunately pulled the tray from the table which caused my hot chocolate glass to fall and shatter everywhere I felt so embarrassed and anxious but they all made me feel at ease offered me another drink and was very understanding and nice about the situation. Thankyou again to you all :)

Tables were absolutely filthy and the cups weren't cleaned properly gone right down hill, very slow service had to repeat myself several time. Won't be going again

Tables always filthy and never cleared of used cups/plates, SOME NOT ALL staff incredibly slow compared to pride park costa (which has a lot more customers) opening times incorrect on door always shuts at 5pm. This costa has went massively down hill since 2021 coffee quality always depends on who serves you and most of the good staff have left and been replaced with people who don’t seem to have any care or pride in providing customer service.

They had no cup sizes other than small. No whip for the new drinks advertised. Very disorganised, won't be returning

I arrived at Costa Coffee on the Meteor Retail park, the opening hours for a Monday on the window says up to 7.30pm, so arriving at 6.10pm I should have been ok. As I walked through the door the gentleman behind the counter shouted “we are only doing take away now, is that alright?” To which I responded it wasn’t. I’m sorry, if it had been 30 minutes before the advertised closing time I would have understood, but it wasn’t. I come into Derby at this time around once every 6 weeks, this will be an establishment I won’t bother stopping at in the future.

Closed despite the sign saying something completely different. I arrived about 6:50 and the doors were already closed. If the company is no longer serving that should be clearly visible on the website as I specifically set off to go to Costa!! The staff were inside yet they wouldn’t even bother to come to the door to tell me what time they closed.

Simple Costa Coffee store - same as all the others but quieter compared to the City Centre stores - also be careful walking to the unit as the walkways outside of the store are not clear and it is a very busy car park at peak times....

Used to come here very often after my shifts but tbh it's gone down hill a bit ..service seemed very very slow in the drive through and not busy at all ..only 2 cars in front of me in which they only had 1 drink per car ..took nearly 20 mins to get my coffee n go..! Think staff were changed ..maybe hence why the service was a bit meh..by the way my coffee was luke warm n had to warm up in microwave

This is my go-to Costa - it's local, and I love that I can opt for the Drive-Thru or Click and Collect. I've never had a problem with the Drive-Thru, this has always been a quick, easy and pleasant experience. Dining in is also okay, although it can take a while to be served due to the volume of customers instore and in the Drive-Thru, so can be slow. Generally Click and Collect is okay, but I have had a couple of occasions where I order on the app, and still twenty minutes later my order isn't ready, so I've then had to join the queue. On the last occasion this happened, I waited about half an hour and it still wasn't ready, so I joined the queue and asked the lady at the till about my order. It hadn't been prepared because one of the three items was out of stock, but I was not told this, nor was my order cancelled/refunded. So I paid for three items, but was only able to take two away. They are unable to do a refund instore, and it is very tricky trying to find online how to contact anyone at Costa to get help. Overall, generally a good store, but will be hesitant to use their Click and Collect in future.

This Costa has improved so much over the last year or so, Rhiane, makes the best flat whites. Thank you for constant customer service and high standards for all the team👏

Parking is very convenient in the downtown retail park. Suitable forthe place to chat. Next time I will order a small rather than a medium, which is definitely too big for me.😂

What an absolutely wonderful team behind this store, came in today during our downtime before we picked up a cat from a shelter, was quite an emotional day for us, walked in and was immediately made to feel special by Leah behind the counter. Leah served us with a smile and was attentive to our order, managed to make us our order with special requests and because my partner had just missed her birthday present gift, gave us a slice of tiffin on the house which made our day. All I can say is this branch of Costa has been consistently amazing from its opening and I thoroughly recommend you go and share some love with their team, they will strive to give you a great experience like we had today. Thankyou again to Leah for serving us, Costa manager, make sure you hold onto this member of your team!

This costa gets worse for flies, it's January 23, where are all these flies coming from?? Your trying to eat and you're dodging the dam things, they're crawing all over clean mugs and cutlery, not going again especially when I leave and see rats running around the carpark!!!

Nothing positive to say but it’s just meh. Staff aren’t really bothered about the customers and it’s all just a standard job…No enthusiasm or excitement. Just messy tables and brand service 🤷🏼‍♂️

a bit drab. they didn't have what we wanted in stock and the place was looking like it hadn't been cleaned in a couple of shifts at least.

Good place for a coffee, don't eat food there as there always seems to be a rogue fly testing it first.

Very disappointed, dirty, milk etc all over the floor. Tables needed cleaning.some of the staff need training in customer skills. Won't bother going there again.

You always know what you are getting at Costa and the service is quick and very good, however the last few times no one was clearing/cleaning the tables, not a good sign.

They were really busy today so I may come back in the future to update this review but based on what I saw today it won't be too soon. The staff clearly couldn't cope with the high customer turnover, the whole of the kitchen area was in a ridiculous mess. There was rubbish all over the floor and stuff everywhere. There were lots of flies and as far as I could see nothing to eliminate that issue. The drinks were on par with other Costa.

Iv been to Costa coffees all over the country and this is by far the worst Iv been too. I’d be checking if something has died in there as the amount of flies is unreal, I understand the weather is warm but we had too move away from the window as I counted at least 15 on one pane, cobwebs hanging from the Cieling to the lights. Tables are full off empty glasses/trays. Toast was like Rock and the butter was melted and to be honest it wasn’t even that busy. I definitely will not be coming back!!

Go most Sunday mornings for family coffee,brilliant service great coffee.

Very busy on entering there were no spare tables, thought I might have to sit outside but as soon as customers finished tables were cleared and cleaned. Decent cup of coffee as usual but a smile from the server would not go amiss.

Every time I come here usually after shopping at Morrison’s I have to clean my own table despite there being plenty staff who seem to wander around in a daze. It’s never very busy and I’m not really surprised as the level of hygiene isn’t the best

I was hungry, so I needed food. Costa, as always, didn't disappoint.

Service always very good and of course friendly staff with I would say genuine smiles which is what it's all about. That shiny cabinet of cakes and cookies is pretty useless if your on a diet.. look away.. don't look it in the eye.

There's a sign on the counter stating about being on the ball with Covid restrictions and keeping customers safe....it's a lie. The hygiene of this place is dreadful. Dirty tables everywhere, it wasn't busy and there were 4 staff members. 4 miserable looking staff members to be accurate. I asked for a table to be cleaned and had to stand with my tray as I watched one girl come and clear a table...not mine. then come over to mine to clear it... then she started to clear another table before deciding to fetch a cloth and wipe my table so I could sit down. The counter where you get the sugar from was sticky and covered in sugar. I had to go and ask for clean spoons for my daughters porridge....and was given 2 more dirty spoons. The couple sat behind us ended up cleaning and clearing their own table. We won't be going back. There really is no need for it though, like I said wasn't busy and doesn't take much to clear the tables whilst it's quiet. Don't waste your time, there's a McDonalds just round the corner, head there! at least the place is clean and the staff are cheerful. If i could give this place zero stars I would.

Took three attempts to get the right size take out tea, dropped tea bag in cup and left in there, put lid on over it, the smallest of milk was put in. Very poor service. Usually go in and have friendly staff but not this time

Went today and was not impressed. Was going to stay and read a book as I had a couple of hours to kill. Aircon was off so it was a sweat box, cheese and onion sandwich was dripping with grease and asked for a black coffee and got an extremely milky coffee instead. Left after 20 mins and sat in the car

I have been to this one since it opened and usually enjoyed it, but sadly on my last 2 visits they've got my order wrong, which as I have food intolerances makes me poorly. The first was that I asked for a gluten free brownie and not long after I got symptoms so it couldn't have been gluten free. Today I asked for a decaf coffee (caffeine gives me palpitations and makes me shake) and after an hour I could feel myself getting shaky and pulse racing. Normally good service, but please please be vigilant about serving the correct items because it can make people unwell.
