Been a few times wonderful service and staff

Coffee is okay, but very customer unfriendly and biased they just want to get to next customer.

Just been served by Kirby (sorry if I spelt it wrong). They were a ray of sunshine, really helpful, great service and after a tough day put a smile on my face so thank you 😊

Very nice people, loverly girls enjoying their work. Only issue I had was I ordered a white hot chocolate, served very fast, all good except when asked “would you like chocolate” I said I’m fine, but she put it on anyway… I think she was on autopilot… so now I don’t have a white chocolate anymore but some light brown powdery mixture… still drank it, but was not really what I wanted. But service and everything is great otherwise, you can tell they all love working together :)

Absolutely amazing service from Kirby! Coffee was delicious and even bought out some warm milk for my dog! Can’t recommend enough

the two women who served me were so welcoming and kind. i felt like they deserved some praise.

The service is so warm and friendly. the new range of cold drinks are a hit with me. The bubble tea is my personal fave. Its nice when you regularly visit a place and they get to know your name and interested in you. Nice bunch of staff. nicola and her team shine on a dull day (in winter)

I mostly attend Camberwell and Peckham stores. Very friendly staff - well most of them,some probably had either bad start of the day or someone has managed to spoil their mood already. I love Peckham store for space and nice view of busy Peckham life, Camberwell store for quietness and friendly staff. I have issue with Costa Custome Services thou-i purchased mug in Derby-didnt get receipt, now back in London i am stuck with this cup because i found my favourite mug in Clapham.

Awful coffee. Very very bitter nasty coffee. 🤮

My daughter enjoyed her coffee but dropped her rail card. Your lovely staff (Leanne Fletcher) found me on facebook and contacted me so I could collect it. Above and beyond the job but made me so glad you have great staff. Thank you!

Deliberately has no power sockets.

I come here occasionally before I go to college but today was the last time I will bother. Arrived and served by blank faced server - seemed totally disinterested and indifferent. I asked what time they closed and she said 5pm. At precisely 4pm someone came to move me from my table and inform me they needed to clean the area - so not open til 5pm at all. FFS why do they need to clean the chairs and tables at 4pm if they don’t stop serving coffee til 5? Makes no sense. I was allowed to sit outside on the high chairs for 15 minutes then they asked me to move again and packed those away. Appreciate it’s a train station with much passing trade but why do they need to clean the tables and put them away at 4pm?? They just seem like they can’t wait to get rid of customers and want to go home. The girl who told me I needed to move was extremely rude and wandered away off half way through while I was still speaking. She was similarly snotty when she asked me to move off from the chairs at 4.15pm. The worst customer service I have encountered in years.

This was the most awful crossaint I have ever had , paid 2quids for something that definitely was a left over at least for 3days ,was so hard and tasteless, had to throw it aways as wasn't worth the calories am going to consume. Can you tell you staff to warm up the leftover before selling them on full price

Gave up waiting whilst two ladies ignored me. When I was only person in queue. Pretty bad really could have at least had a “will be with you in a minute “ so try WH Smith’s they have a coffe machine and food

Friendly and welcoming service.

Quick efficient service. Clean and tidy.

The female staff are better than the males in my opinion. Some of the lads are a bit Cocky and full of it. Otherwise the service is good.

Good explanation from the barista allowed me to try a new drink(I have allergies). Excellent service

I love their lattes and toasted sandwiches, I'm sure we will come here again in.the future travelling to Alton towers and back by train.

Not a regular costa customer however I received great customer service at this branch. The lady was very helpful and patient, she also had a nice mullet hairstyle. My coffee was enjoyable and will consider coming back if i return to Derby. I would recommend to anyone local looking for a nice drink or refreshments. Thanks for reading

Although the staff were friendly enough I wouldn't recommend this branch unless using for take-away. There isn't a bin (apparently due to station policy?) so the whole area is a mess and as the seating is in the main station area it's fairly noisy and chilly.

The place was reasonably clean for a time close to the end of service. I got my order taken very quickly by a nice girl with a very attentive manner. I got my order shortly after. It does tend to get busy at peak times. However, there is a seating area where you can sit and wait for arrivals and departures. Would recommend.

They just sold me a yoghurt that’s out of date and I couldn’t go back because my train was coming. The coffee always tastes earthy and mouldy.

Friendly staff and customer service

Really good tasty coffee at reasonable prices. Seating is nice and modern and staff are very friendly and well trained and experienced. Would definetly recommend the iced latte. 10 times better then Starbucks.

All the costa staff are amazing!! Always greeting you & the service with a smile exists in this place. They do eveything from food & hot/cold drinks. The team leader Stacey Banks is an amazing woman very caring & courteous and always smiling. Shannon, Gina, Joe, Jordon, Stacey, Neena all brilliant thanks everyone 4 always looking after me 👍❤👌

Service was as expected but the coffee was just not the same, never had an issue at Costa before but it just wasn't great

Very friendly staff, great place for meeting from train or before boarding train. Clean, comfortable seating and good choices of drinks and snacks.

Fantastic Caffe lattes and blueberry muffins.

Really great flat white. Thought the prices were ok given where it is. Better option than the pumpkin patch but hope that one can still do some good trade. Always a fan of costa coffee and food to get one in before the train to London.

I was surprised how cheap the coffee was and very nice too.

I came in while waiting for my connection to Darlington. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The whole seatung area was clean and comfortable, and the inside was spotless.

OK service but nothing special. There might be changes to do more on that station if the spirit would be appreciated.

I called in today for a Frostino iced coffee drink and the friendly staff informed me that my chosen drink was only available in small or medium but I could have a large for an extra 40p. Nice. It’s a Costa in a train station so don’t expect all the comforts of their larger stores but you know what you’re getting, menu wise.

Lattee coffees, shared two muffins. Staff very good , coffee usual standard muffins very good. Will go again

Have coffee every time when travel from derby train station, but one of their staff was not welcoming, ordered 1 latte, 1 caramel latte and large hot chocolate with cream but he made a mess and blame me for this... not good

Located on the right hand side when entering Derby station, it’s a welcome sight, I’m sure for commuters ! Coffee on the run or have seat and enjoy the usual delicious costa pastries and cakes with a coffee, there’s plenty of seating .

The new Christmas mint hot chocolate is very nice. Bit sickly towards the end. Staff always polite. Always cold sitting in the foyer but guess its better to sit down at all. Staff always keep area clean and always willing to help. The tiffin cakes are so Devine.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. Recently refurbished into one of Costas ‘takeout cups only’ outlets – so there is no nowhere decent to sit and pass time on Derby station – you might as well plan to get there at last minute. So yet more Costa-branded non-recyclable cups on the platforms and frontage! I don’t know why Costa think this is the way to go but it’s a huge mistake. As soon as my points are used I will be cutting my red card in half and never use Costa again.

Handy place to grab a coffee and snacks.

Your average costa, at a train station though. Convenient for when you are going out by train
