Very friendly and attentive staff and food was very tasty…. Had the cookie shots (our favourite), fudge cake, cookie dough and hot chocolate.

We waited over 1 hour for what was basically a warm poached egg served with what were then mainly cold ingredients like avacado

this place definitely has potential to be a very high end desert place

The food was absolutely heavenly!! This one guy named karam went out of his way to make sure we had a good time, cracking jokes and still working at a good pace and being very polite. Absolutely loved the service we had from him!! Normally when we go there, the waiters just ask for what you want and head back to bring whatever you ordered. When we had karam this night, he made all of us feel very welcome and his energy is very very bright and enthusiastic bringing a very friendly and positive atmosphere. Guess who wrote this Karam!! I recently had an interaction with one of your staff members, and unfortunately, the service was not up to expectations. The young lady assisting me was unhelpful, rude, dismissive. I felt that my concerns were not addressed, I was not given clear information. I understand that customer service roles can be challenging, but I believe that professionalism and clear communication are essential. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and, if necessary, provide additional training to ensure a better experience for customers.

As we walked in a misreable staff took us to a table, she had a misreable face and it made me feel soo uncomfortable. But then a lovely gentleman came and took our order he was such a lovely guy. He was funny and gave us good service, definitely would go back to see him again. Need more people like that.

Just amazed by front of house ,but totally let down by the staff apart from a young lady that prepared our sweet. Milk shakes took a long time, due to staff talking amongst themselves 😔. No apologies and £33.90 for take away sweet!!!

Food was cold and the bag it came in stunk of cigarettes!! Surely you shouldn’t smoke in your car if you are carrying someone’s food?? Not happy with this delivery driver at all!

I recently visited Heavenly Desserts in Derby with my friends, and we had an incredible experience! We were warmly greeted by Karam, who was absolutely heavenly in his service. I ordered a crepe topped with dark chocolate sauce, strawberries, and banana, and it was simply amazing! The combination of flavors was delightful, making it one of the best desserts I've ever had. I would definitely give this place a 5/5 for atmosphere, service, and food. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a sweet treat!

Karam was absolutely amazing and such a fabulous customer service he provides with his very positive attitude , very cheerful and very funny as well. He was absolutely so welcoming and it was so very nice to find out at the end of our visit that he was someone who had attended same college as our son .. what a small world and very reason to treat people with respect and care as he did from the very minute we walked into heavenly dessert derbion in derby without knowing who we were and he was very welcoming to us and we will always comeback for desserts … Karam deserves a promotion for sure he’s really great . To have that positive and cheerful attitude at that time Of night after hours of already standing on your feet and serving in a busy restaurant goes to show he’s genuinely one to keep !

At Heavenly Desserts, Derby, they accommodated nut allergy very well. We liked the service and the pace at which they served the food.

The service provided by Athena and Lori was excellent. Athena was really friendly, seated us super quickly and made sure to check how we got on with the food. The food came promptly and tasted as good as it looked on the menu. Thank you both, and i’d recommend if you want to quench your sweet tooth.

They make delicious desserts and the coffee is also delicious. If you go, be sure to try the waffles, they have a varied menu and they are fresh and fluffy.

A perfect place for those who are looking something sweet to eat, heavenly dessert is the place for you, the portions are pretty generous and the prices are good, the service is very good, in my case we had a child and the waiter asked if we needed a chair for the child, he did all without our request. Overall 10/10

Our table was attended by Ryadh he was attentive, suggestions, smiling , pleasant a really good host my friend and I loved the meal thank you Ryadh. Also need to say Thank you to Alvyn who took our bill was also all smiles and said I should have mentioned my birthday he would have done a little candle...aah Thank you definitely worth another visit...

I have been here a few times,service was very good but the food is to sickly for me . Atmosphere is not so good it's quite cold especially if your wearing shirtsleeve and shorts

Honestly the best service I've had in a long time. And we go out to eat alot! Karam was nothing but smiley and funny! His humour and personality made the whole experience 10000% better. The food was amazing too of course! But seriously they should be happy to have such a hard worker who always has a smile on his face. And we personally how hospitality can be rather draining at times!

I came in and tried something different. I was pleased. The waiter is very knowledgeable about the franchise and understands their menu well. The caramel monkey bread takes a while to come but it is well worth the wait.

We were served by this absolutely amazing and funny waiter named Karem. He is the sweetest most iconic person ever and definitely deserves a pay rise. He not only made my night but my year I have never felt such a great energy and genuine kindness from a couple of people before. They were all so welcoming and sweet. The food was absolutely amazing so delicious and filling definitely worth the price. P.s if your seeing this Karem thank you pookie you made me, my brother and cousins night 😊.

It's a beautiful place, the atmosphere is luxurious, I love the interior and decor. The waitress Valeria was so sweet and helpful. I will go again to try the rest of menu. I had the full breakfast and it was nice and different.

We've never been here before and after this experience I've questioned why ever since. Karam greeted me at the door and from there I can only call the next 90 minutes heavenly. The level of customer service was ... Heavenly. The jokes and the banter was ... Heavenly. His attention to detail and ability to calm our autistic daughter ... Heavenly. This man made the experience what it was. I nearly forgot about the food!! It was nice. I'm joking it was heavenly we will be regulars I am sure as the prices were reasonable and portions fantastic. #KaramwasHeavenly.

I used to go to Heavenly dessert back when I was based in London and it was super great. A lovely place to meet friends. I found this apot in Derby a few months ago. While it's not like the one in London, it's still a great place with a varried menu and brunch available the whole day. I like it.

Karam greeted us warmly and was so lovely to us throughout our visit. He was very funny but also cared that we were satisfied with our experience - a very genuine person. The strawberry and chocolate crepe was so yummy, great value for money and came so quick after we ordered. Definitely recommend this place, I will be coming back - thank you guys for a great experience! :)

So I have been a long time customer of Heavenly Desert Derby when it opened back in 2008. The service used to be amazing food was great and overall I shared alot of amazing memories here with family and friends. And wanted to feel this nostalgic moment since I've seen a expansion and referb has taken place. I wish I could give zero stars. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was horrible and uninviting. The staff looked annoyed to even see customers. I sat at the dedicated booth that was given by the member of staff. My sister and me wanted to have a festive hot drink after a long day of shopping and cold weather. Once we were seated staff completely forgot about us at the table and didnt even come over to take our order,my sister had to get the attention of the staff which was very unprofessional. One thing I'd like to add the store was completely empty with no customers so I dont understand the level of glacial pace to take a hot drink order. The person who took our order acted like I was inconveniencing him by being there. Upon further observation I could see the male staff member where more interested in hugging and congregating with each other than actually doing there jobs. A couple of booths where dirty with plates left behind and the main table in the middle was used to just dump all glasses,plates & cutlery. For a place that is supposed to be above the average this deserts parlour has lost its touch. After waiting a total of 20 minutes for just two hot drinks. I noticed my hot dirty chai tasted like burnt milk more than a infusion of spices. After calling one of the staff over he was immediately defensive with me saying it's fine and that I ordered this drink this way. He did give a chance for me or my sister to explain what was wrong he immediately went mid way through conversation to get another made and call his manager over. He didn't give me a option to tell him what I'd like to do. When the manger came over he made me feel like a criminal for addressing the issue at hand, which could have been resolved with better communication and a smile. In the end I asked for the drink to be taken off my bill. I just wanted to pay and leave immediately as I didn't wanted further passive aggressive stares and vibes. After all of this I still had to wait a further 10 minutes for someone to bring over my bill and staff made it there mission to ignore us and make us feel uncomfortable. My sister was told to pay at the front till even though in the past a member of your team has come with the card machine to the table we were seated. We payed and the staff in a very rude and passive aggressive way said "HAVE A NICE DAY SEE YOU SOON" honestly I was so angry and will not recommend people not to come here and waste money on bad service and dropped quality This place has zero respect for its customers. Between the poor service and the unwelcoming atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the time and frustration—go somewhere else. I honestly won't be coming back at all after this horrible experience today, no thank you.

I recently visited Heavenly Desserts and ordered the Biscoff Croffle, expecting a sweet and enjoyable experience. However, this visit quickly turned into a shocking and disappointing one. On my second bite, I discovered a piece of glass embedded in my dessert. I inspected my plate carefully, and there were no signs of missing glass from it. However, the piece of glass matched the glasses used in the restaurant. Concerned and understandably upset, I approached the supervisor to raise the issue. Instead of showing empathy or taking responsibility, the supervisor immediately blamed the supplier, insisting the problem originated with them. This explanation was clearly implausible, as the glass matched their own dishes. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability and care from the team. They swiftly took the plate away to the back, seemingly more focused on hiding evidence than addressing my concerns. Fortunately, my friend managed to take a picture of the glass before they removed it. We plan to report this serious incident to the relevant food safety authorities. What stood out most to me was the staff’s complete lack of empathy throughout the ordeal. Rather than apologizing or acknowledging the severity of the issue, they deflected blame onto their suppliers. This was not only unprofessional but also deeply disappointing, given the seriousness of what happened. I will not be returning to Heavenly Desserts and urge others to be cautious when dining here. Food safety is non-negotiable, and the way this situation was handled has left me with no confidence in their standards or their customer care.
