Starbucks in Derby

Small shop, but there are tables to sit and work at. Friendly staff, and clean facility. My drinks came out quickly and accurately.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but this made my day. The older man at the window (didn’t catch his name) was so happy and kind, used my name when greeting me at the drive through with a big smile on his face. Something so simple but it’s so rare to see that nowadays. Absolutely made my Monday :)

I like the daily dark roast with a shot. The atmosphere is always positive. And clean lobby and bathrooms.

Starbucks consistently has very good food, and the staff are usually pretty friendly. I really enjoy their eggs bites, which are always warm and cheesy. Their bagels and cream cheese are also very good, albeit the bagels are very small However, their prices are extremely expensive, costing about 5 dollars for 2 eggs bites and 6 for a tall (small sized) Frappuccino.

The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I have used both the drive-through and dine in.

Even while being understaffed, the customer service was extremely unpleasant. While there was a fair number of people, I'm sure most understood that a few workers could only do so much and would be willing to wait. There was no need to get frustrated amongst themselves and kick everyone out of the main store and close it down. Yelling at people that were patiently waiting AFTER the rush was over is the pinnacle of unprofessionalism. The coffee itself was only okay. 2/10. Would not recommend.

Okay I always order on the app and let me tell you after the remodel they had, they have downgraded so much the service, the food, and making the drinks. They charge .60 more for extra caramel drizzle and they never put extra I always have to tell them and on top of that I asked for caramel crunch, I get to work and there’s none in there I paid extra for it. The food I get is always cold and they handed me a sandwich that looked like it was just smashed in the bag.Such a joke. I’ll just start going to the Starbucks at the pike. I’m always having a problem with them messing up.

Coffee was good; the area is alittle tight and not too much space. But a good solo working environment

I wouldn’t normally expect to write a review on a chain restaurant, let alone give it five stars, but the service we received today deserves wider recognition. The lady who served us today not only recognised us as ‘in need of help’ but dealt with us admirably. When I got confused with my order and she had taken my name, she merely asked ‘where are you sitting?’ I pointed to the corner. She said ‘Sit down, I’ll bring it over’, and she did, when it was ready. That simple act, far beyond expectations, made our day. I realise that standard service, waiting for your name to be called, is the most efficient way of operating, and improves the overall quality of service to the public, but this was exceptional. Thank you, I only hope your managers read this, and appreciate you as much as I do.

Today Summer made my day by bringing me my drink out to my car! Always very friendly and great service!

!!STAY AWAY!! If you don't like your job, quit. Don't take it out on customers. Don't ignore customer orders when it's you're getting paid to take them. If you don't want to do your job, don't go to work. Don't take your problems to work. Don't make fake orders for the customers and try to make them pay for it. Hire staff that can provide customer service and take a simple order regardless of their day. (It was only 10am). The conversation went like this(4 customers in the car): "Hello I'd like 4 drinks. I'd like 2 cafe lattes." "2 mango dragon fruit lemonade Starbucks Refreshers with Oat Milk Venti" "What? No. 2 cafe lattes. "2 kiwi starfruit lemonade Starbucks refreshers with Oat milk" "No. Cafe. Latte." "2 Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade Starbucks Refreshers with Oat Milk Venti" "No." "Yes." "No I don't want that." "That will be ____" "No. Can you take our Order? Hello? Hello? Can your take our order? I'm trying to order." Passenger: "I used to work at Starbucks. They keep their headset on. She can hear you.." We decide to just pull up at the window...of course we hear her speak to the other customers after we move our car up. We explained to the lady at the window that we didn't order those drinks and we'd like to order. She gets the other lady we were just speaking to instead. It begins again. "Can you take our order? I don't want those drinks." "Then why did you say yes." "No, can can you take our order?" "Oh youre trying to order here at the window?! You have to park over there." "No we're trying to go to a funeral. We want 2 cafe lattes. We have 2 more people here waiting to order." Notice how she didn't take our order. "No you have to park over there" At this point we just sit there trying to figure out what it's going to take to get a 2, 2 ingredient drinks. The people in the back said they didn't want a drink anymore. I told the driver I didn't want mine either. She looked like she was going to spit in our drinks. The question was, do we just park the car at the window and wait for them to take our order or do we go to the funeral on time? The driver decided, "We're just going to go now." "Whatever bye." The two people in the back seat didn't get a chance to order. The simple ingredients for a cafe latte-whole milk and Expresso. It took more time to try to argue with us, stick her head out the window, etc than make drinks. Too bad we didn't have this crazy woman recorded. She worked May 6 in the morning. Of course she stuck her head out of the window like a crazy woman ( A large white woman with dirty blonde hair.)

Starbucks cake pop was the one thing I craved, I desired from the Starbucks location. Unfortunately they could not provide. Sufficed to say, I will not be going to a Starbucks for quite a while.

This is an excellent Starbucks, I’ve never had any issues with beverage quality or customer service.

Sorry. Not a frequent visitor so I wouldn't know. Its been limited in sitting like tables close to each table I noticed so I prefer not staying but I met a relative there. Great food and smells awesome! Very clean even bathrooms. I will say their pumpkin spiced with the topping is really over the top to taste. I do remember that a few years ago. Very nice taste in design. If you are hoping to catch up with someone talking maybe try in your car (watch traffic..you can do that there) or go for a walk at Stanley park. Bringing your laptop doing things on that is coming for people. I hope for Starbucks lovers they widen the place or lift the roof and make more room.... It's like the word "splendid" and you just close your eyes to prices BUT give your gold for "golden taste" . To date: I have had different items there. Their suvet's are AMAZING!! (egg with cheese and spinach or just cheese) better than quiche taste. I do not recall other ones though. Hope this helps.

Always happy with my orders and the staff is always so kind to me. Some of them I’ve gotten to have chats with while at the drive through window & they’re just super kind & always want to ensure I’m happy with my order especially if I’m trying something new. They’re my favorite coffee place in town. :)

The employees seemed very spaced ot. It was awkward. After I placed my order I went to use the restroom and when I walked of there I ran into a highchair that was right in the way. I don't know it was a weird experience. It is difficult to find if you're not from around that area, and I'm not anywhere near this area.

I visit Westfield Starbucks 2-3 a week. My pup loves her Pupcup!

I'm a batista at a northampton location but I live in westfield, just disappointed that I paid 6.47 for a grande iced caramel macchiato with oat milk and it had almost no espresso in it, probably one of the lightest drinks I've ever had, which isn't my taste because I'm buying it for the espresso! Like come on, flavored oat milk was all I got now I need to get a second coffee later 😩

Super friendly staff and delicious drinks. I love their little post it note board! The drive thru was moving quickly and the wait even though it was busy wasn't long.

The Batistas are amazing! I never go to Starbucks, but they are so friendly despite being so busy!

We've been coming daily on vacation and have been coming exclusively here while we can because they haven't had a negative attitude or screwed up a drink a single time. I wish any of our Starbucks back home were half as good as this store. Quick, efficient, always friendly. Can't ask for more.

Starbucks doesnt need a review but the employees at this starbucks are first class with amazing service and friendliness and attitude. You can tell they enjoy what they do and make getting coffee that much better.

Great location. If there is a long line at the drive thru just park and go inside. There is never anyone in there so you don't have to wait. I'm in and out long before the people in the drive thru can even place their order! And they are always very friendly.

I always enjoy coming to this location when I'm in Westfield. The customer service here is very friendly. I always enjoy Michael's personality. He's upbeat and energetic and makes getting my coffee here a pleasant experience. I visit alot of different Starbucks locations and I give this one 5 stars. All locations should have a Michael and the Cold Foam Cold Brews are amazing here!

I can make instant coffee at home for a fraction of the price.....and without the soy crowd with their face buried in their laptops for atmosphere.

Every time I go to this Starbucks it is so worth it, the customer service is like I’ve never seen before. Everyone who works there is so nice and the drinks are always carefully crafted and never taste like they were just thrown together. If you are ever in a bad mood and just need a coffee these people will brighten up your day in just seconds!!

I ordered delivery and it was canceled out of nowhere...neither the store or the delivery tried to contact me but claimed contact was attempted and refused to give a refund. NEVER AGAIN will i order from this store.

Always a great drinks and polite staff. My daughter just got the bacon sauasage wrap for 6 dollars and the middle was ice cold. I would suggest checking on cooking time and temps so others don't have such a disappointing breakfast.

I applied for the barista job, after a few weeks of going to the office, speaking with the hiring manager asking when I can get an interview and speaking to the staff to arrange a time to speak with the hiring manager next, still not interviewed. I phoned today and was told by Alex that I had an attitude when I asked why the hiring manager isn't able to do interviews today if she's there? Alex also said that its not a good idea to have an attitude when searching for a job.

My lovely barista was more than happy to add coffee to my frappe when I forgot to order it, and she even re-foamed my drink and didnt charge me a penny, thankyou for my lovely frappe soph

Pretty good Starbucks. Few long term employees that do an excellent job with training new/seasonal people. My order is correct every time.

Best thing to happen to Westfield

Something about the Black Tea Lemonade is changing. It's different. The taste is very weak, almost like "lightly flavored water." I even requested a 2nd tea, but it was the same. It's been my "go to" drink for years. I'm so disappointed. On a brighter note, my egg white, cheese & turkey bacon sandwich was delicious.

We have used this Starbucks a few times and have found it to be as expected of the chain. We have tended to use at the start of the day, which is less busy. It feels like there are fewer serving staff at this shop, but this may be different later in the day. The young team work hard to keep things moving and provide a polite and helpful service. Like many Starbucks, filtered coffee is often not immediately available, which is a general area for improvement. Staff are however happy to initiate a new brew if you can wait. We prefer the Starbucks coffee to Costa, so would always try and use this store when in Derby.

Nice starbucks. Made my Carmel Macchiato just right. Not too long of a wait to get out drinks. Sitting area was pretty busy on a Sunday afternoon. Bathroom could be cleaner. They have a drive thru and parking lot has plenty of parking. Good location to other stores.

Hit or miss honestly. When it's good it's great when it's bad it's bad.

For a 6 dollar drink can you make it right? Also they never have sandwiches! They get in everything once a week.. disgusting

Generally an okay place - good service, fairly prompt and it's still decent. And I realize their main jam is coffe and food, but the "experience" leaves a lot to be desired. They've been playing the music pretty loudly recently - people have to raise their voices a little to be heard. My recent visit tonight, however, was extreme. The music was SO loud! (country pop music with lyrics, not something instrumental). I'm already hard of hearing, put earplugs in and STILL the music was unbearably loud. It's a small location so there isnt anywhere to sit that's away from the speakers. I wish that, if the music is going to be that loud, it was at least instrumental, but I'm not likely to come back any time soon...

Went in this morning for a latte with almond milk, and an additional shot of espresso plus another coffee. Got a latte full of caramel and whole milk, no additional espresso either. I Was on my way to work at around 10am, didn’t have time to go back and return to store, contacted customer service and got all my money back to my account immediately, no questions asked. At least someone does their job well. I get you all get busy, but I went inside the store and you weren’t even listening to my request, what a disappointment. This Starbucks location is going downhill.

I love a Starbucks coffee and i particularly enjoy their Blonde Roast, served perfectly every time I visit. I often visit with my family for lunch and the selection of food can be a bit hit and miss, occasionally we have visited and their is barely any choice but usually there is a good selection to chose from. They cater well for vegans and although i am not a vegan, or even vegetarian, I have enjoyed this food.

Awesome staff, I did a little social experiment and dressed like a homeless person in my old filthy work clothes that I painted my house with. Staff didn't know me, as I'm not a regular at this particular location, nonetheless I was treated with respect despite my egregious appearance. Some of the customers looked uncomfortably disgusted as they quickly moved away as I walked by. I wonder what was going thru their head when they saw me get in my new Tesla and drive off into the tranquil Berkshire sunset. An interesting experiment that I plan on doing again!

I only stopped here for a cup of coffee, but it was so over-brewed I couldn't help but to write a review. I've had a million Starbucks coffees, but this one was like drinking paint thinner. I think it stripped the enamel off my teeth. My wife and I both had to toss it out.

Coffee always has burnt aftertaste to it. I drink mine black by the way

Like every Starbucks the drink choices are great and the staff are always helpful. The only issue I have with Starbucks is that even in all this time they still don't have a single vegan snack. Not a reflection on this local Starbucks but the chain overall.

Best starbucks in western mass in my opinion. I'm never disappointed and the staff are wonderful. If you want a coffee, latte or breakfast sandwich the way you like it, doesn't taste freezer burned and consistent each time than this is your place.

I love Starbucks but this particular location has been iffy the past 6 months - year. My order is either great or horribly wrong, mobile orders are not their strong suit but the line in store is usually long during any time of the day, so regardless you’re waiting around 10 minutes to get your drink. Same case with the staff, they’re either GREAT or the grumpiest person you’ve come across all week.
