The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Midlands

What a rubbish review. There is nothing wrong with that branch of Waitrose. It's excellent and stocks all the essentials. Also very kind & helpful staff. That review must have been written by someone from the competition.

We visited at around 230pm Sat Aug 19th and ordered 3 cake slices, 2 hot chocolates and a cappucino. While the drinks were tasty the service was extremely slow to the point the hot chocolates were lukewarm, not hot. Too long a queue to join to ask if they could do 2 more as the other drink, cappucino, would then have been cold. Lots of tables uncleared and the ones that were cleared were not wiped down well. The plush lesther seats were stained and lots of dust on the wooden rail trims. Then after all of that, the toilet, oh my word, it was just disgusting. It clearly had not been cleaned all day ( do staff even check it?!), it absolutely stank, pee on the floor and not just recent either, there were dried stains of pee too. Bits of toilet tissue over floor and the sink stained and dirty. If we had used the toilet first before ordering our drinks, we would not have stayed to order anything. It is only one toilet to be shared by all and that is fine, but with so many people using it, the staff have GOT to step up amd clean in there regularly. Manager of this store is clearly not keeping an eye on it all. Save your money and drink elsewhere.

This company had a stall selling coffee and pastries at Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. They took the payment and then I realised there was a 20 minute wait for two coffees and a pastry which cost over £12 and the coffee was horrible. Muddy, weak and tasteless. I asked them to redo it, which one of the guys did, however, it was still weak and tasteless even with half the water. I was told to wait to complain to the manager but when he eventually came he was rude and refused to give me a refund. Other people in the queue were also unhappy and someone else brought their drink back as well. I said I would post a review and he said he didn’t care as he had sold thousands of coffees. Terrible service and coffee and the manager is arrogant. Avoid this company if you can

Lovely cup of tea in a mug, unlike most of the other places around that just do the cardboard cups!! Cake was really lush too!

Having frequented several drinking joints on my time on this earth I have never witnessed the shear pleasure of Katie the barmaid. Her knowedge of drinks, and pleasant conversation was refreshingly pleasurably. I will certainly be back soon to see her lovely smile! Keep up the good work! A credit to the establishment

Dreadful food please ovoid at all costs me and my whole family were up all night due to being ill after having dinner here, ridiculously overpriced for the terrible standard of food offered. Go and get some fish and chips better value and won’t make you ill.

La primera vez que visité este café caminé en una mesa a la izquierda que estaba limpia pidió 2 capuchinos y 2 desayunos capuchino llegó muy agradable! pero esperamos y esperamos y esperamos la comida finalmente el desayuno llegó colocado en la mesa no cubiertos pensó que la señora había ido a buscar algunos, pero ella continuó haciendo algo en la cocina tuvo que buscar en otras mesas para obtener nuestros propios cubiertos! El huevo frito definitivamente no era un huevo frito, ciertamente no estaba corrido, la tostada era como pan caliente definitivamente no tostado, aunque el tocino era agradable y crujiente.

Been here a few times now as my daughter lives closely with her family. Every time we go I am struck by just how friendly the people are. An experience that is not so common these days where it is a community local where everyone seems to know each other - and good beer as well.

I am cross with myself that I have never been before to this gorgeous place. Such a gem, very tasteful, beautiful tea, amazing toasted sandwich and lush freshly baked cakes. I had a really relaxing afternoon with my friends on the terrace in the sunshine and delicious food. Thankyou. Please can you let me have some of your china teacups as they are exquisite!!!!

A nice pub, large and well kept. I just couldn’t help feeling that something was missing however, which for me was warmth and friendliness. No real welcome was received and there felt to be a slightly suppressed atmosphere. I could be wrong but it didn’t seem to be a happy place.

Me and my husband came into this establishment, and we were expecting a nice and calm coffee. We were wrong to expect this. Ordered a latte, my husband had a cappuccino, these were adequate, but the service however was far from this. A girl served me, Shannun I believe the name badge said, a blonde girl, and when I went up to the till to place my order, I was greeted with a look which clearly showed that she was not interested in being at work. I had told her my order and she rolled her eyes in a very disgusting manner, which made me feel like a nuisance for even coming in, and extremely unwelcomed. Some enthusiasm from her would have been nice. Overall, the rest of the staff were nice and smiley, but this girl brought the whole atmosphere down! Clearly needs the same training on customer service as the rest of the staff who work here.
