The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in England

Wonderful meal last night. Lovely welcome on arrival, great service all evening, attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely superb, I had the lamb which was new on the menu and it was excellent. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. It’s by far one of the best places to eat in the area. We can’t wait to come back again.

Absolutely awful! We went there a few weeks ago we had a table of ten, when we walked in there were three members of staff behind the bar and not one of them looked up or acknowledged us for several minutes, then when the rest of our party arrived it took 10 minutes for our server to come over to us to take a drinks order which then took another 15 minutes to arrive, another 20 minutes later then come over to take the food order, it was Sunday and most of us ordered the roast, there was a choice of three lots of meat pork, beef and lamb, all £18.95 or pork and beef for £25.95 (prices not 100% sure) when asked if we could swap the pork for lamb there said it would be an extra £4, the food then took 30 minutes to come out despite not being told there was a wait time and we had 2 young children with us. When the food arrived it was barely warm and the meat was dried out. We then asked for some more drinks, when they arrived the server put down the tray at the end of the table and took one drink off then moved it round to the side of the table and knocked the remaining 5 pints of drinks over the table and most of us including the children, one of the meals and our phones and belongings, the girl picked up they tray and come back with a roll of blue roll paper which she put on the end of the table then walked off, expecting us to clean it all up ourselves with no apology given, 5 minutes later another member of staff come over to say they would bring some more drinks over to replace them free of charge but only brought over 3 drinks despite 5 being spilt. After that 3 of us ordered puddings and when asked if we could swap cream for ice cream with one of them we were told it would be £2 extra. Overall since it has been taken over and there is new management, the staff were rude, unprofessional and at no point were we given an apology, the food was very basic and cold and the wait time was ridiculous, everything was an extra add on. It’s a shame as it use to be one of our favourite places to eat, especially with large groups, however we will not be going back. We called afterwards and asked to speak to a manager and he said he would have a word with the staff again no apology given, awful.

Had a brilliant anniversary meal here. Food was amazing. Service excellent. Very cozy. I need to eat here more often. Best restaurant in Macclesfield.

I haven't got enough good words for this little gem. Food was fantastic and so was the service in an environment warm and cosy! Will definitely go back and I highly recommend it!

Booked a large table for Sunday lunch for my mums birthday. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we had great meal. Food and service were both fantastic. Thank you so much we will all definitely be back

Lovely evening celebrating my mother's birthday. Every plate was delicious. Were treated to being looked after by the wonderful staff such as Nathan and Adam. Highly recommended. Diolch

Love this place. Our first choice to take friends when they visit food excellent, and service has improved over last visit (it was good even then, and gave 4*) And the best churros since the churros we had at our Spanish village’s Feria when we lived there.

Excellent Sunday lunch, with a fresh, quality meal. Succulent lamb and good serving, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. With attentive staff and a good selection of wines and ales, I would certainly revisit this pub again.

Okay pub but the toilets needs a refurb big time.

Vinimos por la experiencia de la gruta de Navidad del Padre y fue una gran experiencia. El evento estaba muy bien organizado y mis hijos se lo pasaron de maravilla. El personal era muy amable y fuera de tanto esfuerzo para hacerte sentir bienvenido. Nos en la comida en la zona de almacén después y era tan bueno. Volveré pronto a comer en el restaurante y también compraré cosas de la granja. Increíbles gracias a todos.

Gorgeous little gem, a little walk away from the castle, so nice and quiet in the morning. Staff were accommodating, coffee was good, and food was nice. The bacon and sausages in particular were delicious. Well worth getting away from the crowds for a quaint characterful cafe with good service.

Bottomless brunch. Just had the loveliest bottomless brunch. Such a great place, food was delicious. Staff could not do enough for you to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend the pork belly, it melt in the mouth. The dessert board was bonus and the cocktails were amazing. Thank you for a lovely time
