American who visited here while on holiday. Great pub in a great town. Wish I could move there and stop by for a pint!

Nice pub on the high street - nice friendly staff very good selection of drinks on offer Food was lovely pub grub cooked and served really well at a great price Yes this may not be everyone’s choice it’s not Michelin Star but if you are looking for really good pub food in a nice pub with lovely helpful staff you can’t go wrong Support your local you won’t be disappointed

I am a support worker and myself and colleagues took the people we support to the rose to celebrate a 60th birthday, the staff accommodated us and we all had a fantastic time

It was a handful dealing with myself and others tonight as we were a big group, but Cat and the staff did a brilliant job and were very patient with our orders! Would come again, a great thank you to Cat and all staff involved!!!

Visited again for the first time in a few years on Sat night. What a Change! Good Music staff amazing. New manager so I'm told. Certainly see changes in good way. Well done I be definitely be back soon

Great atmosphere 👌 great service , staff really friendly.....ordered food , fast service and it was delicious. Stayed for the evening as there was a d.j on , it got really busy .. the doorman was really hot too .. definitely recommend 😀

Went for lunch as recommended for good food. Dingy decor and furniture worse for wear. The floor in the ladies toilets wasn’t very clean and it looked like behind the cubicle doors hadn’t been cleaned for a very long time, the toilet door was also covered in graffiti. We made our selection from the menu, went to the bar and our order was taken, the member of bar staff then went into the kitchen, came out a few minutes later and informed us the Chef said there was no gas so he couldn’t cook any food! really! she then asked us if we still wanted the drinks we’d ordered, no, we wanted food!

Decided at short notice we fancied going out for dinner but didn’t want to travel too far from home. We thought we would try The Rose & Crown as we had heard good things. It didn’t disappoint. We were greeted by a very friendly, smiling lady behind the bar, served promptly with drinks. After checking the menu we both decided on the chick n mix for only £6. I ordered and paid. We didn’t have to wait long for our food, which was hot and tasty. The rest of the menu looks good and we will be back to try it! Thank you

The manger ( Kat) is super friendly and is alway helpful to her customers. The staff member (Tayla) is very polite and attentive. Definitely recommend ❤️❤️

Came in today and we noticed that bingo was on. Really good atmosphere in here. We joined in and played a few games and with beginners luck, won on the raffle!! 😊 just had a really good experience. Food quality was really good. Tasted fresh. Nice clean pub inside and out. We will be returning

Visited today with my sister and kids, never been to Rushden before and popped in for some lunch. The staff were all really friendly and made an effort with my kids which was a really nice touch. Food was delicious and such good value for money. I would definately return here again.

Came into the rose & crown last week and ordered two of their breakfast baps . which had lot of different toppings to choose from and arrived quickly for only 2.99 each! would highly recommend and would like to thank Jodie for her presence on the bar. made me feel very welcome and will come again.

We meet a few friends here Friday night. Two of us had our drinks spiked. Having not had a drink before visiting and both been at different places and felt fine before visiting. After just one drink each we were pissed! Lucky our friends notice and we left to go home. Not the first time I’ve had a drink spiked and expected it to be done here! Could have ended a lot worst, something needs to be done about drink spiking at this pub. Turns out from searches online this place is well known for it.

Recently re visited this pub and I must say wat a turn around there ! The staff are excellent especially the manager Cat handled herself in a top professional manner! Will be visiting again 😁

Food is always good value here and nice range of drinks. If you take the Classics menu with 2 meals for 11.49, it's a bargain. Team are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

This is a superb Rushden local pub. Great selection of drinks and food. I haven't tried the food yet, but they have some mega deals. Few TVs to watch the football on. There was a nice atmosphere and evening disco. Will definitely come again for the dining session.

Brought my family here to eat and we was really surprised by how fantastic the food was compared to the prices. The girls that served us was so friendly! Thank you to the manager who personally served us, she really went above and beyond for us. She also mentioned they do theme nights in the evenings, so I will definitely be coming back for the live bands 😁

I was really surprised at how much deals this pub had…BOGOF burgers, bottles and cocktails. Also we came on Tuesday and they said the pool table was free!!! Me and the misses had a meal and a night out and it barely cost a thing. Great atmosphere in there too! This pub is doing it right for the local community

I will never go to this place again, on the Green king website this pub is advertised as doing Sunday lunch. They DO NOT DO SUNDAY LUNCH. I only booked here for one reason and one reason alone, for a Sunday Roast. I was absolutely amazed when I was told at the bar that they dont do Sunday lunch at all anymore. I was with my wife and my mother in law who is over 80. To be told at 1pm when we arrived the menu we have does not do Sunday lunch what a disgrace. Do Green King actually care. We had no choice but to eat there off what is less than basic menu. I ordered a pint of Old speckled hen even this was off and tasted like vinager. This place is not worth a visit particularly on a Sunday.

Brilliant little local in the high street, cheap food but high quality. Darts and pool table available, always have different events on with people with a good atmosphere, friendly staff. These guys really know how to throw a party! 😁

Working locally, we ordered takeaway food to take back to our office, and it was SO GOOD. We had burgers and fries, and it was cooked to perfection, lovely and hot and fresh. Can't wait to go back for more. I have my eye on the puddings too 😂

Came here for a locals darts tournament they were holding here on a bank holiday and we were really surprised by amount of people that turned up for it. Great atmosphere, will be there for the next event!
