Bread & Co in Warwick

Gorgeous little gem, a little walk away from the castle, so nice and quiet in the morning. Staff were accommodating, coffee was good, and food was nice. The bacon and sausages in particular were delicious. Well worth getting away from the crowds for a quaint characterful cafe with good service.

Amazing brunch and cosy atmosphere.

A friendly welcome; my friend had a question about an item and the owner came over to describe the ingredients. Both of us enjoyed the subs and I had a proper tea pot of good tea.

What an utter delight to find this cafe when we’ve walked past it dozens of times. Such friendly staff, and a varied brunch/lunch menu with delicious cakes on show. We had soup and smashed avocado on sourdough, but wanted half-and-half so the owner thoughtfully suggested he split them onto two plates for us. And I’ve never seen such a fancy looking toast - it was all delicious. Very reasonably priced for Warwick and a quaint original feel. And lovely area locally to wander around. We will visit again in summer as they have a large covered courtyard.

Amazing gluten free food! Was so exciting to be able to chose from a ray of amazing looking treats that tasted so good and surprisingly gluten free! lovely staff as well and will definitely be going back!

Delicious full English breakfast! The best one we’ve had in a very long time. We had two small children and they were very accommodating. Tailored the breakfast and charged half the price of an adult portion. Thankyou we will definitely be returning!

Just came here after some lovely reviews online I am vegetarian/ vegan and the smashed Avacado looked lovely online feel so disappointed I got the veggie breakfast I asked for smashed Avacado & if I could pay for extra Avacado as this is what I love the most! When the food arrived it was just beans, mushroom and tomato half a slice of avo not even smashed up :( just felt like a waste of money really as now got to go buy more food as it definitely didn’t fill me up.. the matcha latte was lovely but just feel dissapointed x

Nice cafe, great millionaire's shortbread!

Wow! Amazing vegan options! My smashed avocado was so incredible and my partner loved her vegan full breakfast. The servers were so so helpful and friendly. We stumbled upon this place by accident, it was busy inside for its small seating area but we can see why. Can’t wait to come back and have the dish again.

The food was fairly average and it wasn’t the most extensive menu. Service was really slow - the people working were all quite young and were more interested in talking about borrowing IDs and going out than serving customers.

Really friendly staff. Good range of food including veggie and vegan. Quick service. Indoor area seemed nice but we chose outdoors which is lovely and has blankets/heaters.

Went here based of reviews as visiting Warwick. We ordered the full breakfast, it was not good. The toast was soggy as it comes out underneath all of all of the other food, shame as I think the bread its self was actually a nice freshly baked bread. The bacon was mainly fat. Poached eggs over cooked and hard in the middle. The beans were dry. Worst part was paying nearly £3 extra for a potato cake that tasted of oil. Service and atmosphere were brilliant, so maybe worth trying something else.

English: I was here in Warwick for a nice weekend having to work at the festival, and as always in the morning I go for breakfast, it was literally a blessing to find this place, I had a wonderful time both because, the place is really magnificent especially the outdoor one, and because right at the entrance we were greeted by beautiful smiles, and also because we were served promptly by kind, helpful, patient, and well-prepared girls. After thirty years of cooking but, above all after having worked in a private club, I have NEVER seen and tried a full English breakfast where absolutely EVERYTHING was prepared by the chefs, in every place where you normally go you find the classic reheated canned beans , here NO, with the wonderful beans they were cooked by the Chef, I ate a really SURPRISINGLY GOOD English breakfast, I really can't wait to go back to try the flavors again. even if as in all things there is a small flaw, the desserts as good as they are, are the classic English ones with an abnormal amount of butter so, my liver was not as happy as my palate. It was really nice to understand the organizational plan of the owner of the place and the enormous work of all the staff to offer a complete service of such high quality!!! I will remember it forever and I will tell it everywhere wherever I go!!! All my best compliments!!! Popped in with two friends for breakfast last Sun morning. An enchanting little place packed with character. The staff are welcoming and very helpful. We were seated in the garden in the rear, very cute. The food was inceedible! One of my friends used to be a head chef in Rome and was super impressed with the quality of ingredients and flavours. This place is reason enough to come back to Warwick and if I could give it 6 stars I would!

Great cafe serving very good coffee, a nice brunch menu, cakes and subs for lunch. Seating area outside is excellent - a garden at the back with at least 8-10 tables. The subs were ok; brunches looked better

We had very tasty sandwiches here before visiting Warwick Castle & if you are arriving by train, it's a perfect location on the way to the Castle. My smashed avocado on sourdough was delicious & my wife's croque misure was excellent. All the staff were very friendly & we look forward to visiting again

Lovely cakes and food. The chai latte wasn't great—too much milk ( tea pot of milk)for the small tea bag. Overall, the food was decent. Friendly service.

Fully recommend this quaint cafe for a hot cuppa and food, within a relaxed casual atmosphere. Location wise, very convenient. It’s deceiving from the curb, there’s plenty of covered garden chairs and tables at the rear of property. I would happily return here as … staff were friendly, everything we ordered was delicious, reasonably priced and satiating, So relaxed especially as we sat in the garden…a very homely feel. Took a week to review as searching for just ‘Bread & Co’ didn’t come up on TA 🤷‍♀️

We stopped during a road trip for lunch here and had a perfect lunch. Really nice cosy garden with blankets. Delicious vegan hot chocolate, gingerbread rooibos, americanos. The sandwiches were delicious. My dad had the mackerel melt, my husband had the full breakfast, my son had hummus avocado & mushrooms. I had the vegan avocado on toast, and it looked stunning and tasted just as good. The staff were friendly. It was such a good experience! Thank you all! We will be back again!

I love the cafe, I love the food, and the staff always go out of their way to help. We visit fairly often as although based in Coventry we visit a couple of times a month, usually for takeaway. My son especially loves the bacon sandwiches, and the choice and quality of cakes is wonderful. However, PLEASE do something about the toilet door. There is a hand sized gap. I understand that in a building this age, not a single room will be square - I have enough problems with my 1990's home. However I inadvertently caused a young person quite a lot of discomfort when I tried the door and we made eye contact whilst they were in situ. I realise there is a 2nd toilet which I'd hope is better but in all honesty, I'm not sure I will ever return. If the young person sees this, you have my sincere apologies.

Went for full English Breakfast on Sunday, based on personal recommendation by the owner of New Bowling Green pub on Saturday evening. Service from staff was very good. Food was excellent. Good quality (thick rashers of bacon) and generous size portions. Good selection of tasty looking cakes in window, so hope to return to Warwick again soon to taste some of them.

I’m so glad I found this place with such a friendly folks. Went to try out some bakery which was absolutely heavenly.. ended up having full fledged the best English Breakfast and Egg Benedict. Also hot chocolate was worth it.

Nice cafe for brunch. Warm enough in November to sit outside which I find quite lovely. The staff were very welcoming the moment we stepped inside. I enjoyed my mackerel and really like the sauce that came with it.

High quality food and impeccable service. There is a charming garden terrace out the back which catches the sunshine. The list of hot drinks is exotic, varied and interesting - I was tempted by the gingerbread rooibos but went for the golden latte and it was perfectly unsweetened and spicy. Highly recommend!

Had to wait nearly 20 mins, very poor value for money, my breakfast roll cost £9 and the bread roll was small, would of expected more for that price

waited nearly 20 mins for a batch. Ridiculous price for a sausage and tomato batch which was only average quality. As a lorry driver I've had much better and cheaper from road side cafes

I love this place, we have visited twice recently. The first time, we were tempted inside by the delicious cakes in the window, whilst our dog was in the groomers across the road. My bacon and mushroom sandwich on a granary roll was amazing, the bread is so soft and fresh. And our cakes were very good. We sat on the decking area out the back, which is very pleasant. A typically quirky old Warwick building. The staff are lovely and friendly. I am sure we will be back soon.

Lovely place. We were drawn in by the smiling staff, the delicious looking cakes and the fact that they are dog friendly. Once we were in we found the menu to look very inviting. The cafe goes back quite a way with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has both open areas in the garden and well covered area s with heating when required. The food is excellent quality and delicious, beautifully presented. It is also excellent value. We enjoyed a really lovely meal and drinks and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Came here solo after walking from Coventry and what a place to recover! I was able to pick a table in their open garden at the back. I came initially only wanting a coffee, ordering a double shot Americano. Finally, a place the specifies shot numbers and charges accordingly!!! When the coffee arrived I decided to get some food as I started getting peckish. I opted for the mackerel melt. It arrived in under 10 minutes. It didn't look like much however, the slice of bread was thick and delicious, the cheese sauce was decadent and the mackerel was perfect. The addition of the spinach and pickled onion added a lovely twang to an already salt forward dish. Overall it was a very satisfying dish that really hit the spot when I needed it. The service here was quick and efficient. There wasn't much to complain about! Prices were steep but I think it was warranted for the times, the coffee was good and the food was high quality. Definitely make a visit if you're in need of a hot drink and light bite!

Looking in on the cafe and there's danger of your eyeballs being somewhat over-exercised. No holding back your taste buds too - they'll definitely go demented ! Less than 10 minutes later, we were indulging a slice each of some of the best Bakewell Tart money can buy ! Olivia was on hand to deliver some really friendly & responsive service; Ollie too was 'on it'! And there can be no better endorsement of this place's offerings than us taking home a 'selection' box packed with even more deliciousness!

Definitely worth coming to visit here, I would usually come in to get my mocha to go and it was always amazing and a decent wait time, but this time me and my partner came in for breakfast I got the pancakes and the bacon just topped them off and he got the breakfast sub and the quality of the bread and meat was the best.the staff were very friendly and attentive.

On our visit to Warwick we stopped here for a coffee and a cake. My wife is fussy about her coffee and she said this was the best so far. The range of homemade cakes was fantastic and the white chocolate tiffin we both had didn't disappoint. Really friendly staff as well. If you are in Warwick, this place is well worth a visit!

We were here for a brunch, we started with a flat white decaf and a regular latte, coffee was good but slightly under temperature. We tried vegetarian brekky which was like a veg version of english breakfast. Mushrooms, beans, eggs, toast, and avocado slices. The pouched egg was our option but it was too soft inside. The other plate avocado smash was perrrfect though, large piece of sourdough, avo salsa, different slices of tomato, chilli oil I guess and some crushed peanuts. The price was moderate two coffee and two plates we paid £25. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The outdoor space is a bit hard to access for wheelchair or pushchair but small and enjoyable. They have loads of blankets for chilled weather, but the chair are metallic and a bit cold.

I found this place on the internet, I came here visiting I had the most creamiest oat milk latte ☺️ and I enjoyed the vegan breakfast, especially the hummus 🥰 Thank you 💕✨🌈

Wow ! What a gorgeous little find. Looks like a tiny Cafe but opens up at the back & beautiful garden. Visiting from Cardiff, just passing & needed a little pit stop. Made to feel so welcome with our pooch. Lovely staff, atmosphere and tasty homemade fresh cream tea. Great value for money too 😉.

Absolutely delicious cakes, sandwich and hot food here. Love their artisan coffees and tea definitely not your run of the mill cafe. Everything is cooked with heart and care. I don't even live in Warwick and I drive here especially for their sausage and bacon butties (again artisan meat and homemade bread)! Highly recommend you won't regret it!
