The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in England

I ate here on Friday night with my wife and mother. The first impression was good as we were warmly welcomed by name by a lady called Tyra. After being seated a friendly young chap called Sam came and took our drinks order. He recommended a bottle of Simonsig Rose and it was excellent. We ordered a couple of starters to share (burrata and pickles and the other was prawns and octopus) both were divine and I was disappointed that I had agreed to share mine. Main course was cornfed chicken supreme x 3 with assorted mushrooms and a delicious sauce. It was absolutely outstanding. The ladies loved their desserts whilst I enjoyed a lovely glass of house Cab Sauv. The chef is a chap called Jake West. Watch out for him as he is going far. He creates intensively flavoured, utterly delicious dishes and serves them in decent size portions. They must be the gateway to gluttony as despite the generous portion sizes I was left craving for more. With Jake’s cooking and Sam and Tyra looking after the guests Brooks Kitchen have landed themselves a cracking team. Highly recommended. I think they are only open Friday and Saturday night. One tip for the owners, some acoustic tiles would really help. As there are no soft furnishings at all, once everyone’s had a drink or two the volume increases and suddenly everyone is shouting due to the building (an old bank) being very echoey. Acoustic tiles would maximise customer satisfaction and ensure your booking list grows a few months in advance. Fortunately, once everyone began eating Jake’s food conversation reduced to a whisper, a testimony to that young man’s culinary skills.

We went for a Mother’s Day afternoon tea with both adults and children. The staff were really accommodating and friendly and despite the children being really picky and awkward the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Great price was the extra bonus and the room is lined with beautiful art work and antique items. In a really scenic spot so perfect to talk a walk around afterwards

A wonderful bar in a beautiful cosy setting. The staff, Gelene, Gibson, Marek and Bhanusri were very accommodating and made myself and my husband feel very welcome. Lovely cocktails and snacks at the bar. We would highly recommend.

This was an amazing afternoon . It's a dustbin you just want a fun filled tine to forget the hard working week . Tali was amazing host , we kept her busy but always had an amazing smile on her face you guy are awesome. Please expand to mk I'd love this on my door step xxxx keep doing what you doing . Xxxx

Lovely cooked breakfast, pancakes and bacon roll. Friendly service and nice environment. Close walk from the car park. Highly recommend.

Reservamos este lugar antes del Cirque di Soleil - Corteo. El único tiempo disponible fue 5. 30 ! Fuimos muy bien atendidos por Riyad y como pudimos decidir qué Ruinart elegir, nos ofreció una degustación ciega de las 2 opciones. Obviamente se eligió el más caro. También pudimos pedir bebidas a intervalos aquí que nos estaban esperando a su llegada. Esta experiencia hizo que nuestra visita a lo más agradable. Recomiendo

Had been to the Sunday Market at South Shields. We decided to go again to Suzies cafe for a coffee. We found a parking space and my husband went to get them I had a hot soup (vegable) and my husband had a coffee. Both really enjoyable. While were.sitting in the car.a car pulled in a disabled bay, no disabled badge.on. They didn't pay. I'm disabled and .always show my badge. Then another car pulls.up ( we were in a norma bayl as no disable.were free when we parked) along beside us, gets out dad,ma m amdchild.They too didn't pay. When we were coming out spotted two traffic wardens - hope 2 cars get a ticket.

Me and the lads stumbled upon this place mid way through our Simon Seat hike and I must say, we’ve never come across such a welcoming team, especially Lee! The food was outstanding and the customer service was exceptional! Will definitely return, keep up the great work from the Halifax Lads!

¡Absolutamente impactante! Fuera de la parte delantera tiene un olor muy fuerte a orina y para ser honesto que resume el lugar totalmente! ¡Especialmente el dueño! Cuando un hombre grita a la cara de una mujer por simplemente sentarse a su mesa mientras está fuera, y que el gerente eche a la dama, es totalmente vergonzoso. Todo porque probablemente es un lugareño y gasta mucho dinero. Huele a orina, es orina y el encargado también es algún que pasa si una mancha de orina

Super food, delicious tapas, burgers and macaroni cheese. Delightful and friendly staff. Lovely pub and location. 5• throughout the meal, drinks and service.

What a great place! My friend and I both have labs and Stone Reef was superb to come to for drinks, dinner and also breakfast! Food, location, and staff all amazing and super dog friendly. The hard work and effort of the owners and staff are clear to see. Highly recommended! Thanks guys!

Splendid place with lots of choices of places to sit, outside under cover, relaxed sofa or a simple cafe table. Service and food excellent.

This seems to have character until you look around and it's actually dirty. Curled magazines and papers all untidy. Dirty sockets, tables not cleared and dusty. Quality coffee but served by staff who didnt really communicate or smile and one in an unclean sweatshirt.

A very nice Americano coffee. And a totally delicious slice of German apple cake. Lovely friendly efficient service. Nice and clean, well looked-after; great decor - updated but hasn't lost the essential feeling it has always had. Other food also looked extremely crummy.
