Mudeford Rocks in Christchurch

Visited here for the first time and had a large breakfast each. Very nice breakfast served quickly, would of preferred bacon slightly crispier but thats all. Will return again

A little hidden gem! Doesn't look much from the outside but has a great selection of made to order sandwiches and homemade cakes, wrapped in brown paper, not plastic! The girls who served us were really friendly and welcoming. Yes I would definitely recommend this place.

Nice breakfast, excellent service and fair pricing. The Rocking Lite Breakfast cost £5.99 and went down well. I would return if visiting the area again. The only negative would be that for four adults the tables are quite snug, if you are a couple they are fine.

We came across this cafeteria not far from our base at the caravan park. The lady was very welcoming and helpful. The food is tasty and there is a good selection to choose from, at reasonable prices. There’s free wifi too.

As ever, superb coffees and brunches at this splendid little cafe, 5mins stroll from Mudeford Quay. Good value, super menu, lovely sevice and decent toilets, with on road parking right outside. We love it.

Richard and his team run this cafe/diner with expert eyes for detail and great food any time of day.

We had reserached new places to have breakfast before coming on holiday and found this so gave it a try. Was clean and welcoming and staff friendly (was lots on duty) Food was good, and error with orderwas swiftly fixed and appreciated the free coffee in light of order mix up. Would be nice for staff to remember when serving hot drinks to bring tea spoons with them would be only slight negative. We even came back for a take away the same week pasties where fab! Will come back when we next visit.

As ever, a delicious full English breakfast at Mudeford Rocks. Good service, delicious meal and good value too. And they have the chilled background music's volume and content just right. Decent seating inside and out, a something-for-everyone menu and a nice loo too. We're locals and live it here.

This little cafe serves first class generous full English breakfasts, along with smaller amounts if you choose. They also do mouthwatering home made pies, rolls, etc. Not to be missed

Well what can I say. Absolutely lovely hot mug of americano. Some cafes give you luke warm but Mudeford Rocks is exceptionally hot. Such a pleasant atmosphere, lovely food too. And of course dog friendly. Ben my Cavalier King Charles loved his biscuits. Thank you...

We found this restaurant while staying at a local B&B for a long weekend. The staff are most welcoming and friendly. I had the hot pork bagett with stuffing and apple sauce. A meal in a roll. Parking readily available straight out side the door....

Came across this cafe very close to mudeford. Good selection of quality pasties,cakes, sandwiches etc. Very nice staff, didn’t have to wait long. We had pasties and sausage rolls then went back for crepes later... delicious 😀

Generous double cones of delicious New Forest ice cream served with a smile and a friendly chat. A 2 minute walk from the quay so being away from the crowds the queue moved quickly. We are looking forward to another visit to try the tasty...

We stopped here on our way to book into a local hotel having seen reviews. We were able to park outside and being vegetarian chose the tomato croque monsiour. It was warmed up for us and brought to the table outside with our coffees. Coffees were great and food was a good snack to get us to dinner time. Everything was clean and served with consideration for social distancing. The two young staff were lovely.

Lovely cafe, great choice and great food! we both commented that the coffee was particularly nice. Friendly staff and you can park right outside for 30 minutes so perfect for a quick sandwich and coffee stop. There were two small tables outside too which was perfect for us but most people took sandwiches to go which were well wrapped for later.

One of the best breakfasts I’ve had. Cracking little cafe, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

This amazing place is just a five minute walk from the quay/beach at Mudeford. Really decent food , excellent coffee too. The staff were very welcoming and the facilities were spotless . So if you are looking for a fab place to eat after a wander along the beach this is a must . Extremely reasonably priced as well. Took some takeaway to share back home as the pasties were awesome .

It’s such a lovely cafè, in here everyday after work or during my breaks. There aren’t too many people in at once which makes it a whole lot nicer to relax. Would definitely recommend and the staff are caring.

A lovely cafe with a large variety of food. Been here 3 times in 2 weeks because me and my husband were pleasantly surprised . The food and quality was amazing for the price and I keep eyeing up the pasteys which my husband said are lovely. Good quality baguettes and a good size for the money u pay. The coffee is ok but would recommend bad hand coffee beans as they are the best around. This would make it perfect. All the staff seem young but friendly and lovely.Will defiantly be a regular visitor as live only a 10 min walk away. I wana try the pancakes next

Lovely little cafe frequented by locals as well as visitors to the area. Relatively new and so very clean. Good service, food cooked to order and not too expensive. Dog friendly too! Nice selection of take-away items as well. Excellent coffee.

The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our cooked breakfasts at Mudeford Rocks yesterday.

After a lovely walk along the beach, we decided to have a breakfast at Mudeford Rocks. We were not disappointed, a lovely breakfast with two sausages, bacon, Rosti, beans, poached egg, tomato, slice of toast and a cup of Dorset Tea. It was served hot and on a hot plate, which is a rarity these days. All in all a lovely end to our walk. After a lovely chat with Richard the owner and his lovely staff we were on our way.

Visited Mudeford Rocks a few times and always a good experience. Food is fresh, tasty and well presented. Nice clean cafe with friendly staff. We will be returning soon!

I visited for breakfast, waited 45 mins for coffee to arrive, 1 hour 10 mins for food to arrive. It was clear that the staff were not coping with the volume of orders, lots of people waiting for food, drinks and only received part orders. That said, the restaurant is new, decked out to a high standard and the quality of the food was fantastic. However I will hesitate in returning due to the poor service which made me late for a business appointment.

Excellent brunch whilst on a short family break with our twin 2 year old boys. We all enjoyed the breakfast baps (even though it’s a cob to me)!

Quick nibble and coffee for 2. Great selection of pasties, sausage rolls (vegetarian options available) and cakes. All seem to be homemade and were delicious! Nice little spot to get away from the quay on a busy Easter Weekend. Takes card. 2 sausage rolls and 2 coffees, £8, not bad given homemade!

We came a couple of times to Mudeford Rocks for breakfast and lunch. The service from Jason and the girls was excellent and friendly. Freshly cooked pain au chocolat and baguettes! Perfect Croque Monsieur and coffees are top level. Definitely recommend!

We moved locally into a holiday home while waiting on our house being ready. We have become regulars for the amazing breakfasts.I drink decaf coffee which is normally bad everywhere I go but I dont know what they do here but it tastes great. The weekend before Christmas I had my family down and the owner opened on that Sunday morning so we could all sit together and have breakfast as my little rental couldnt manage us all. It was a great start to Christmas and everyone enjoyed their fantastic breakfast.

Last weekend I had a fantastic breakfast with quality bacon and sausages but this weekend was a different experience they were cheap and poor

popped into here for breakfast, hasn't been open that long but worth a visit, very friendly you can even take your dogs in with you, think need to get the word out on this little gem, decor is lovely

Loved our coffees yesterday...the menu's coming along nicely too...looking forward to some brisk walks and good food once the weather improves! There's some street parking outside and just down the road. 5min stroll from Mudeford Quay.

Very good quality breakfast, great value with choice of different teas included in the price. Friendly service, and particularly liked the way tables were quickly and thoroughly cleaned as people left. Didn't take our dog, but asked and was told that they are dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

Came here to take my mum out for breakfast. I made a tripadviser account just to comment on how good the breakfast was. great value, staff are nice and friendly and the place is very clean. we both loved it and will definitely be coming back!!!

We had taken the ferry to Mudeford Quay and we really didn’t fancy fish and chips. My daughter and I wanted a good sandwich and my husband and son fancied a pasty - this lovely little cafe ticked all of the boxes. The food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile- perfect!

We visited on Friday morning and were delighted by the place. The cooked breakfast was fantastic with super tasty sausages. The staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. As locals, we will be treating Mudeford Rocks as a regular haunt and are so pleased they have landed in Mudeford. Our daughter cannot wait to return and try the milkshakes and ice cream. This little establishment gives more than one might expect Old fashioned services and great value for money.

I am sorry but Mudeford Rocks is a place not to visit. I went there with my Mum, it is clean, but not a lot of people in there. I ordered a flat white which came back in a mug and was more like a frothy coffee, had a large sausage roll which was not enjoyable, the sausage meat in the sausage roll was not cooked and there was a salad which consisted of a few bits of sweet corn and lettuce, very dissapointing

A lovely little cafe with a nice atmosphere in an amazing location selling quality food cooked to a very high quality, served by a very friendly helpful staff couldn't ask for a better cafe, just what mudeford needed.

Had crepes and cappacinos. Both very good and tasty. Staff very friendly. Very clean, cakes looked nice as well.
