Stopped in Skipton for a quick coffee and a bite. On the outskirts of town by the car park. Coffee suppliers next door. Perfect coffee. Delicious cakes and perfect toasted fruit cake with lashings of butter. Why go further? 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the high street, the Coffee House has a great chilled out feel whether you choose to sit indoors or in the beautiful 'secret garden'. The menu is simple but delicious (and very reasonably priced too). The coffee (supplied by the business next door) is first class. If you strive to support the independents, then this is the perfect place for you.

Met a friend here for lunch and general catch-up. It was the perfect venue as it was relaxed, friendly, and had a good ambience. Busy for a Monday too! The service was efficient and with a smile and a chat, which, added to great coffee and food made for a really good experience. We will return!

My partner and I had arranged with friends to meet in Skipton and catch up with a refreshment and a slice of cake each. The atmosphere was lovely and tranquil for a Saturday and we sat at a table in the corner. The service was good and after you have paid for your order, the waitress brings your food and drink to the table. My partner and I had the Easter chocolate cake and it was amazing. I haven't had a quality cake for a long time or since. The cake was very scrumptious and delicious, not dry and not too much cream, just right. We are thinking of coming back here on the strength of the cakes alone.

Having been disappointed at the previous café we decided to try here, as it looked like it was a bigger cafe and might be more accommodating. As we entered, we were greeted with "The kitchen's closed today, we only have drinks and cakes." There seemed to be a recurring theme in the cafés of Skipton. Two milkshakes later,we left the deceptively small café and Skipton to stew in their own lack of foodie amenities.

We visited Skipton for the first time and spotted this coffee house as we parked up. We decided to go in for coffee and found a hidden gem. Delightful little place, very friendly, warm, great selection of coffee, tea, cakes and snacks. It was so good we called in again on our way back to the car for a drink and bite to eat. The next time we go to Skipton we will definitely go here again.

Not the most scenic spot between the loos and the carpark , but very nice inside and a garden with some tables. It has a vast array of leaf teas and specialty coffees which are made properly . The coffee in-particular was lovely. Good range of cakes including a shelf of gluten-free giving an unexpected choice to the coeliac .

Wandered into the Coffee House this afternoon & ordered coffee & cake. As it was sunny & warm we decided to sit at one of the tables outside the cafe. Service was quick & delivered with friendly chat & smiles. Our mocha coffees were spot on & my slice of raspberry & white chocolate cake was ever so scrumptious. Such a delightful dining room inside too ~ in all a delightful café that couldn’t be faulted.

Called for refreshments before we started our shopping in Skipton. It's nice to support independent businesses and you get a much friendlier experience. Our coffee was excellent and I chose a large cinamen swirl to go with it which was really fresh and delicious. Lovely seating outside enhanced our break. Would highly recommend.

We had expected this gem to be one of those 'all style, no substance' places typical of tourist towns. Fortunately for us, the lovely, cosy decor was equalled by the fantastic coffee and service. Arriving in Skipton at lunchtime on a rainy Saturday morning we were relieved to find this small, quaint coffee house right next to the car park and with a table available. Coffee and baguettes all round; 3 chicken and bacon with a lemon mayonnaise and one prawn and avocado. The drinks arrived first - I can recommend the milkshake (banana) and then the baguettes, nicely presented, fresh and delicious. Sadly didn't have room to sample any of the homemade cakes and pastries but hopefully we will return. The baguettes are not cheap at £5.25 for the chicken ones and 50p extra for the prawn but worth the treat.

Stopped here quite by chance and had delicious sandwiches and coffee. The bread is as outrageously good as the coffee, we had baguettes which were herby and I suspect home made. Served with a fresh salad and not overly massive but actually enough because they were a taste sensation ;0) I had smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers and red onion which is on the bagel menu but they were happy to swap for me. Very nicely done out inside, lots of character, but we sat outside in the courtyard with our dog. Will definitely return to try a breakfast, thank you.

Dropped in here as I was desperate for coffee after a long drive from leeds, expecting the usual over priced coffee common to most hipster places. Quite the opposite in fact, less than £2 for a large cup of excellent coffee and looking at the menu that seems to be the case with food as well. Atmosphere very relaxed, decor makes the place feel warm even on the coldest days, music excellent, quiet and unobtrusive mix of classic blues tracks. Nice touch having a selection of books for customers to read. Free wi-fi was great, fast and reliable. Shame this is 30 miles from my house, considering buying a place in Skipton just so I can visit again!

Being local, we often visit Skipton and this is one of our favourite haunts. Coffee is excellent with (as you might expect) a good selection of specialist types plus a weekly 'special choice'. There is a small outside area but most people choose to sit indoors.

Recently had a brilliant stay at Crina Bottom B&B at the foot of Ingleborough (one of the 3 peaks). It is entirely off-grid but the owners have done a terrific job in making the property comfortable, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms have been furbished to a high standard and you are guaranteed a sound sleep. The en-suites are large and are like those found in a good 5 star hotel. The chef produces great breakfasts which are substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B

This place is in a beautiful location. After a hard day cycling, we we had run out of water and food. Although the tea-room was closed we asked if our water bottles could be topped up. The lady who owns the place was busy but she could not have been more kind and helpful. She brought us delicious home-made chocolate cake and filter coffee and stayed for a chat. Absolutely amazing customer service and saved us that day! Thank you!

What a lovely quirky cafe. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. We had hot chocolate and scones with jam and cream and both the drink and scones were delicious.
