I have a very minor criticism: please use tongs when picking up the cakes and not with bare hands. I got a thumb print in my chocolate cake 🤢

Had lunch here today with neighbours.Cottage pie....large portions,obviously home made,excellent meal.5 stars minimum.I will definitely return

Federal is forever my favourite place. Whether I’m coming here by myself or with anyone else, the atmosphere and everyone who works there are so so so nice. I can’t imagine how I’ll leave Manchester so soon and not have federal! 🥺

Went to the star a week or so ago with 3 friends for a Sunday roast ,to be honest we were very disappointed with the food ,everything on the plate was overcooked and I never new chicken could be so dry ,it's a shame because its a lovely pub with amazing staff and the food used to be amazing ,maybe they cook was having a bad day ,we all get them ,not sure I'll go there again

Lovely friendly pub, just how pubs should be!

Absolutely incredible experience I had at pot kettle black today, the service and atmosphere was astronomical, the music set the tone and not to mention my iced mocha was served within seconds. Perfect blend of rich chocolate and smooth coffee. It would be rude to not thank the service provided by the waitress, I will never forget the way I was served and treated. I will definitely be back. Thank you very much to the manager and waitress for the pleasant experience!

I’m quite a frequent customer of this bakery, and the food is amazing, and soo worth the money. However, today and many other times, I’ve encountered seriously rude staff - particulary a blonde woman, who has never given me good service. I don’t expect anyone to be overly friendly, (especially as someone who is working in hospitality myself, I know it can be draining), but it really doesn’t feel nice to be treated this way when you’re a paying customer. There have been a few times when I was served by some super friendly people, but the majority of the time theyre just completely unpleasant. I hope this changes, because I really do love the food

Amazing pub! Friendly staff, had a lovely time. Drinks were excellent… will definitely return! Great atmosphere, clean and tidy. Little gem of a place.

Nice food reasonable price very friendly service.

Unfortunately we were let down at another pub who were meant to be catering for us for a family party of 14 people. At the last minute the Broken Bridge were able to accommodate us. Everyone said how nice the food was and the staff were lovely and really helpful.
