Great mushroom omelet with a croissant, lovely coffee.

The food and drinks were spectacular, it was if I was dining in a Michelin star restaurant. All I know is I'll be going back there again.

I had an amazing vegetarian brunch here, absolutely delicious and very filling! The staff were really kind and friendly ☺️ really appreciated the Twilight background playlist! Plus, the bathrooms were spotless, which is always a big plus. Highly recommend this place if you're in London and looking for a cozy, welcoming spot with great food!

Really good coffee. One of the best around Highbury Islington corner area. The portions are more compared to other cafes and they offer a good selection of British and Mediterranean dishes.

Unos pasos dentro, pero el personal es muy amable y puede ayudar con conseguir prama en la parte trasera si es necesario. Sin duda volveré!

I want to say I loved this pace but it didn't hit all the marks for me. We arrived at 10am on a weekend and there were loads of tables available but it quickly filled up. There are a good amount of tables, so not being able to make a reservation isn't an issue. You have to order via a QR code on the table, so there wasn't much interaction with staff. It felt rather impersonal and not much service. The coffee was disappointing, perhaps the barista having a bad day. It had an odd taste, perhaps burnt. The food was good but for the price not 5 stars. I'm not sure I'll come back again. It wasn't terrible but there are loads of brunch places available.

Favorite breakfast spot in islington! Loved the avocado toast and full english breakfast. Drinks were good and juices refreshing. Loved the chill atmosphere and staff were super friendly. Great vibes.

One of our favorite cafes, especially around Islington. Food (get the foccacia sandwhich or veggie English breakfast), coffee, atmosphere is great. Christina and the rest of the staff are very attentive and friendly. The outside area is also perfect on a sunny day. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was really nice. The food was amazing, I had the Butter Chicken Burger and it was really tasty they put their house salad in it which makes it really tasty. Their coffee was the best.

This is such a lovely place. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The only downside is that it’s very smoky inside, as people smoke on the outdoor terrace right by the entrance. As a result, there’s a strong smell of cigarettes indoors. Other than that, the food is really tasty and the staff are very friendly.

Such a great atmosphere here. Very chill, relaxed vibe and beautiful interior with lots of natural light. The service was very pleasant and so quick. I recommend a blueberry iced matcha and cinnamon swirl - it’s amazing! I come here any time I’m in the area.

The breakfast was a little heavy for Japanese people, but it was very delicious and I enjoyed it. The half-boiled sausage and fried egg were especially great. The volume was perfect and I was full! It was cute that she suggested I leave a comment on Google.

A great shop, recommended by a friend, but the owner is super nice. We asked if the fries were enough for three people, and he said he could increase the amount for us! Then two large plates were finally served. The people were really nice. They even treated us to banana cake and chocolate cake. It was really touching😍

This was my first time here while visiting a friend in London and I really enjoyed it. The space and atmosphere is bright and open, the food was yummy and the service was great, especially Jason who was very friendly and helpful. The chai latter is a must! Best one I have had!

I just what to say fist massive thanks you to the staff for the hospitality ! Today was my best friend ( Sister) Angel birthday and we decide to visit one of the best coffee shops in Islington area ! And guess what best decision ever . The stuff is friendly and very approachable, the food is perfect and especially. Really amazing, my pleasure The fries were amazing. There was seasoning with paprika and lime amazing combination. I am highly recommended come and visit you will not be disappointed I promise you 10000% Thank you again to the amazing staff!

This breakfast was seriously good. The truffle scrambled eggs on a croissant were rich and creamy, with just the right amount of flavor. The savory plate had everything crispy sucuk, halloumi, fresh greens, and hummus, all working so well together. And the hot banana bread? Soft, warm, and just perfect. Such a great mix of flavors, definitely worth coming back for.

Nice little find on Upper Street. What appears from the street to be a small, takeaway coffee shop opens up to a large, well lit seating area. Friendly staff, tasty food, great service. Items sourced from local suppliers, a small but broad menu, and quick turn around on orders. Would recommend if you find yourself around this way and looking for a tasty takeaway coffee or a nice place to sit and relax.

What an experience! I love the stuff and the owner. Turkish egg was stunning. Definitely recommend.

Breakfast/brunch must around Islington

Hey this place is amazing! Just went with 2 friends, and was blown away by both the food and by how kind the owner and our server were! I got a juice and the goat cheese toastie (huge and delish), and shared the banana bread (epic-try!). On top of the food being so much I couldn’t breathe after, the owner and the server were the sweetest; they brought us roses for Int’l woman’s day, jokes around, and didn’t even side-eye at us once when we finished our food but still stayed another 30mins chatting. Was def not planning to write a review, but what a nice experience! Can’t wait to come back!

Terrible place to eat! myself my partner and 2 mates went to eat here on Saturday 22nd Feb 2025, I ordered with my partner i had the full English breakfast and my partner had the bacon sandwich it took around 45 mins for the food to come out and when i say that i got my food first before my partner, she then had to wait another 20-25 mins for a bacon sandwich i complained about the wait for her breakfast to the manager! Then when the food arrived the waitress practically threw it down on the table! this is where the problems started my food was cold and very salty! my egg was undercooked and had a slimy white! The same with my partners egg and my mates! When the manager came over to check if everything was ok i said NO and express my concerns! He done nothing about this and just laughed at me! We decide to leave after paying around £90 for all four breakfasts, the manager then came back up to me and said i will give you some free coffee on your next visit! I then proceeded to tell him i wouldn't not be returning and that was a joke! Wouldn't bother eating here staff are rude and not a great place if the chef cant cook and Egg i wouldn't be able to trust him to cook a rasher of bacon let alone a sausage!

Lovely clean interior at the back – feels fresh and contemporary. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of seating and tables. Popular with locals meeting friends or people in for a quiet coffee or lunch. Excellent choices – we had wraps for lunch and they were very tasty. Coffee & tea were great. A lovely venue. Happy to recommend it with confidence.

Recently popped in just to get a takeout coffee, and ordered an iced strawberry matcha and an iced coffee. These drinks were both very nice, in particular the high quality matcha in the strawberry drink, and the service was efficient and friendly. As we left, they even offered us a free flat white coffee that had been made by a training employee (we think) and that was such a lovely gesture by the baristas. Would 100% recommend for a coffee, and hope to be back soon for a sit down!

I’m an extremely fussy eater and find it really hard to find places where I can actually find something to eat. Yesterday I went here with my daughter they don’t make a plain green salad but they made me one with a very simple dressing and it was delicious and I am so grateful for them taking the trouble to think outside the box for me. So Thank you so much Ps. Have been getting a delicious oat late and pastries from here for years.

We popped into this lovely cafe for a coffee and cake this morning. It had a really nice atmosphere and the back area is very comfortable and bright. The cake was so nice, we're back for lunch which was equally nice. Food is very good, service and atmosphere is excellent. Will definitely pop in when in Highbury

For my main, I tried the shakshuka, which was a delightful twist on the classic. It beautifully blended the bold, spicy flavors of Israeli shakshuka and the rich, tomatoey notes of Turkish menemen. What stood out was the addition of beans, an unexpected yet unique touch that elevated the dish and made it hearty and memorable. My husband opted for the Turkish eggs, which were equally impressive—creamy, flavorful, and paired with all the right textures. The atmosphere of the cafe was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch. Highly recommended!

This coffee shop is the best! Cristina is an amazing barista—she makes the best coffee. The food is delicious, and the place is super cute and cozy. Highly recommend stopping by!

Really enjoyed my breakfast at Urban social. Breakfast burrito was excellent, as was the service. The only thing I'd say is that the noise in the back room reverberates around the room, you can end up hearing everyone's conversation. The room could do with some decorative acoustic panelling.

The chicken burger was TOP. Great atmosphere and a fantastic staff! Everyone was nice and attentive. With so much around in London, this meal will stand out. The lattes were the best so far during our stay. They offered milk/milk alternatives. (No photos bc it was all gone too fast)
