Good service, good coffee and a lovely atmosphere. It’s a much better option than the chain store across the street (whole reason I gone to this place) and I’m always made to feel welcome. Would definitely recommend :)

Back after 5 years today to discover this place is as wonderful as ever. Great coffee, prices unchanged even now, immaculate service, friendly clientele. Love Cafe Metro!

Regularly pop in for a morning pick-up: Soya hot chocolate & sandwich. Busy, and hygienic. Patient atmosphere with service under pressure but ALWAYS POLITE to all. Sit inside (or pavement service) with newspapers available.

Family based business are always the best. If ur looking for a quick a drink to relax, and treated with the best service possible

This has the feel of a local cafe. When we went in around lunchtime, there were a number of regulars at the back chatting to the owner. We had a drinking chocolate, flat white, and two pieces of baklava which came to around £8.50. very good prices for London. Don't go to the Starbucks across the road -come here and put some cash into the local economy.

I recently went to this cafe and I had a pleasant experience. The cafe is very clean, and it has a cosy inviting ambience. The seating is very spaced, which makes feel relaxed and comfortable. The waitress were very professional.I ordered cheesecake and my friend tried the baklava, we both finished our whole plates, it was delicious. I highly recommend this cafe.

Pricing was not right and misleading. Tea advertised at £1.50 a cup , charged £2.50 for decaf tea! said decaf was more expensive , also cost of cakes vary to advertised price on board. Avoid

He double charged me for the ice chocolate, and told me it was the good one. It was not on the menu and he did mention it before at all. Should have checked the price on the machine before paying. He is good at scamming. Very bad experience and the chocolate is not even close to good. Would never go again. Do not recommend.

Just about a week ago i went to this amazing coffee shop.they had everything i really wanted the have baguettes,crips,drink (coffe,tea,fresh orange juice),also the cold drinks.ect,it is also a great study place if your in school.the customer service is very good and everything was worth the price The food was so scrumptious will be coming here again.

Friendly enough service. Disappointing flat white - almost all milk and frothy. I couldn’t drink mine. My real beef was the price. We had two coffees advertised on the price list behind the counter at £2.50 and one croissant with no advertised price (my fault, I know). The bill was £8.49. How did one croissant end up costing £3.49?

I can't believe this. I've asked a man if I could order my food after I've used the bathroom and he was so rude to me by dropping a swear word. I'm not coming back to that place ever again.

Nice environment to see and catch up with regulars. Avoid the herbal tea as they just buy it from Aldi then overcharge as if it were a higher priced brand. Might as well go to Aldi and buy a whole pack for like what... £1

I was there a couple of months ago. As soon as I came the man working there asked me why I was wearing a mask. I explained I didn’t want to catch Covid nor pass it to others, to which he replied that “the government lies to us”. I should have left but I just wanted to quickly buy a coffee and a piece of cake. When I was trying to pay my phone needed to recognise my face, so I pushed down my mask briefly, to which the guy said “see you’re not ugly! You don’t need the mask!”. I just ignored him, grabbed the cake and the coffee and left. I was about to eat the cake when I saw it was FULL OF GREEN MOULD. And the coffee tasted like burnt water. I went back, returned the mouldy cake and asked for a refund (he wanted to give me another piece, when they all clearly had been there for who knows how long). He gave me coins, and I even left the coffee there (didn’t get a refund for it but I just wanted to get away as soon as possible). I am so disgusted and I am never going back to this establishment. I can’t believe they’re running a business like this.

The nicest place to eat in. Very good customer service and high product quality. The overall is extremely clean and well organised. Happy to discover this beautiful place
