Nice brunch spot. Quick service and the food was flavorful! I had the Turkish eggs. Come during the weekday for no waiting. A queue can form on the weekend.

The food was great, the service was perfect. The place is quite big, so lots of people and lots of noise - not a place to read (imo).

A gem near Finsbury Park and Arsenal. Great atmosphere, clean, exceptional food. For people who like spicy food, I recommend Tukish Eggs and Beam Benedict. It's a variation on a well-known dish, but in a unique, non-obvious version. Delicious coffee, first class service.

Lovely atmosphere just like their Crouch End branch so can’t fault them! Place is always busy but they are attentive and provide good service throughout. Good menu selection to cater so something for everyone.

NO LAPTOP ALLOWED HERE!!! After having an average brunch and coffee, I brought out my laptop and started to work. Manager came and told me laptop was not allowed during busy days. Although there’re still empty tables and nobody is waiting outside. I can accept no laptop but only if I’m told ahead. Or they should have posted somewhere. I think the only fair way is to restrict sitting hours, and allow the customer to do whatever they want. Waiter and waitress are quite friendly though.

It’s a really cool spot to get brunch and coffee what more can I say! Been here about 4 times in the year I’ve lived in the area

The gluten free pancakes are such a win. I couldn't finish them but you can also order a half portion. The coffee is great and the staff are too

Despite being crazy-busy, we were seated quickly, the service was attentive but really lovely and the food was gorgeous - large portions, beautifully served and very tasty. Would absolutely recommend if you find yourself in Highbury.

This might just be one of the best places to eat in London. Everything was incredible. I had the Beam Benedict. Absolutely, unbelievably, incredibly scrumptious! My son had pancakes with caramelised banana, berry compote, maple syrup and this DIVINE honeycomb butter. My friend had the Turkish eggs- best ones I’ve tasted so far. Everything was just gorgeous and the service was wonderful. The place itself is stunning. What a vibe!! Honestly everyone involved needs to be congratulated. Will be back!!

Reasonable (for London) prices, tasty food, quite generous portions. Turkish eggs were pleasant. The Mediterranean breakfast gave me FOMO.

This has got to be one of the best brunches I’ve ever had in my life. Unreal flavours and texture of each dish. We had the Beam Benedict and the Mediterranean breakfast. I eat Benedicts almost every time I brunch and this is was the most special, flavourful Benedict I have ever had. As for the Mediterranean breakfast, the portion size was massive! There was so much to eat and each bite was a delight. The atmosphere was calm, but still buzzing! It was perfect!

Love the place since they opened. Only complaint is not dog friendly considering most places have become so in London.

Beam revisited in 2024: Another excellent full English while others enjoyed different brunches. The Turkish eggs also tasted great! In 2022: On a return visit to the UK for the first time since Brexit, this Great British Breakfast was one of the highlights, a reminder of when Britain was once 'Great'. Very nostalgic! Very popular at weekends, go early for brunch. Kind & efficient staff.

I recently had the pleasure of brunching at beam, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. We started with a great cappuccino and then had the best, one of a kind, breakfast full of flavours. I highly recommend beam and we’re definitely going back again!

The best brunch I’ve ever been in my life! It was just perfect and everything I like in a brunch! The food is so tasty and it mixes European with Middle Eastern food, the portion are big, and there is nice French toasts! The atmosphere is so nice, the service is perfect and fast! I have nothing to say except that they are victim of their success so there can be a big queue on the weekend especially!

The best breakfast I’ve had in london!

Nice interiors and quite spacious. A few tables and chairs on the pavement. Been in twice, first time I had the pancakes, luckily a small version because it was quite large. Had a veggie breakfast which was massive, too big. Nice but the vegan sausage wasn’t very good and the has browns need to go. I don’t know why restaurants include these as they aren’t good, better to make your own hash potatoes like they do in USA. A bit too much food on the breakfast plate, I don’t like wasting. However that’s my opinion and I expect a lot of people would like gets lot for their money. Staff friendly and service fast.

Good food, the service was perfect, I took the chicken burger, it was delicious, the other dishes were also very tasty ! The only little downside is that, victim of its success, the room can be a little noisy because there are too many people.

This is my favourite cafe in a all of London, the food and vibe is gorgeous but the best thing by far is the wonderful staff led my Matteo. The best hospitality team I have ever come across and I've been to ALOT of cafes. They all deserve pay rises and bonuses. Friendly, dilligent and always very welcoming. I've been going for over 5 years and never had a bad experience.

Always excellent food, I particularly love the salads and smoothies. Quick service which is always friendly and personal. When it’s really busy it can get a bit noisy but there is quieter seating on the pavement. Definitely recommend.

Really great place with very generous portions, also great option for a working lunch as the tables against the walls have plug sockets. We went home with a box each because we couldn’t get through the generous portion!

A lovely bright clean and welcoming restaurant Having stopped to read the menu a member of staff approached and spoke to us asking if we would like to eat , we sat outside as it was a nice sunny afternoon . The food was lovely tasty and a good size meal for the money! Go try for yourself you won’t be disappointed !!

However, the English breakfast lacks some key components which makes it more a "Partial English breakfast, perhaps less artisanal bread and more tomatoes and black pudding. Nonetheless, the other dishes make up for it, and there is something for everyone on the menu. One standout item that I would highly recommend is the kiwi avocado smoothie. It is a refreshing and delicious drink that perfectly complements any dish on the menu. Also, the fact that Beam is kid-friendly and umbrella-friendly is a huge plus, making it an ideal spot for families and groups. The only downside is that it can get busy, especially during peak hours, so it's best to get there earlier to avoid a long wait. Overall, I would definitely recommend Bean in Highbury for anyone looking for a cozy and delicious brunch spot.

We dined at Beam on a recent bank holiday. The food was delicious, served quickly and fairly generous portions for the price. The interior was classy and comfortable. The food was tasty and yummy with delicious drinks and iced coffees. We will definitely return!

I loved all the individual features of the Mediterranean breakfast. The jam was lush with the strawberry pieces visible. This is also a good option if you love cheese. However, nearer to the end of my meal it started to get salty mainly due to the cheese. Nonetheless, overall a really good plate that was presented very well leaving me very full. The chai latte had a slight bitter taste despite adding more sugar. I have had lots of better options else where and would not get this again. I would definitely recommend for their food and would go back to try more. I am beaming to try their pancakes or French toast next. The toilets smelt but the wallpaper was pretty. The interior of the place gives homely vibes and it was busy for a Wednesday 1pm indicating it’s popularity.

Been there twice and the food is AMAZING! I went there for the Beam Benedict however it was all out so I chose the Grilled Kofte and it was just as tasty. The pickled red cabbage with the meat and bread was just breathtaking. The chicken and avocado wrap was just as tasty too and was something you don’t see in other restaurants. Big portions as well so you’ll deffo leave full. Always a joy coming here
