staff were very friendly and helpful placed the order and well served at the table with loads of condiments available the tables are well spaced and able to accommodate a wheelchair very enjoyable snack & the ability to rest enjoying thanks staff & management.

Decent sized portions and affordable, tucked away down one of the side streets but in a great location. Thank you

This is a lovely cafe to eat ever thing about it is good from the members of staff, owners, other guests, the food is delicious and always plentiful, we had roast dinners today - since it’s Sunday, filled me and my partner right up and didn’t manage to eat it all.

Food was enjoyable but not outstanding, price very reasonable. What makes this cafe memorable is the quality of service of the staff. Not posey and pretentious like in a posh restaurant. But staff were genuine and sincere.

Aunt Sally has had a full refurbishment. Been visiting Aunt Sally for years. Looks like they have changed management. The food has always been top class as a cafe. Always fresh and hot. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Not the best location…. Must try if and when in the town/high st.

Normally use this cafe couple times a month for our breakfast. Great service from TJ and the two Adams and the waitresses. Food is always on point and it always a friendly welcome

I am very upset with this location. the cooks. he has no education and a lot of lack of hygiene. in the kitchen you don't know what you're eating in that place. I do not advise !!

Been looking ages to find a place I can get a fresh sandwich made in East Ham. Stumbled across Aunt Sallys. It was very busy in there- young and old alike. I didn't wait long for my take away sandwich. It was nice enough; ham, cheese and tomato. I wasn't asked if I wanted white or brown bread (they just gave me white). At £4 it was a reasonable price, but frustrating they only take cash. I only had a fiver on me, and may have been tempted by a drink if they took card.

Myself and my colleague went for a well deserved coffee today and was refused because we couldn’t occupy a table of 4 as they said they would lose money. Quite frankly this was appalling and we will be telling our nhs colleagues to boycott this cafe

They only take cash but don’t advertise it, so it was a waste of a walk. Get with the times. It’s London in 2022. No one uses cash. Clearly tax dodgers.

The food portions were massive however the staff that served us seemed to be in a bit of a mood. The way that the server spoke to us was very unprofessional. Most of the other staff were a bit more perky so it could just be a bad day for her. But if you're looking for a place with decent food I would recommend this place.

This cafe is the best in the East End of London and more than probably the best cafe in London if not the South East of England. The staff work extremely hard to put some wonderful food on our plates from a big fry up to main meals. Aunt Sally works for the community and this is shown in the amount of people who use this cafe and they have the support of the disabled people who use this cafe on a daily basis. I have seen them feed some homeless people free of charge. They are a Great Credit to the community of Newham and East Ham. The food is absolutely some of the best served, it is always fresh and clean and I cannot speak any highly of them. I would highly recommend coming and eating here and experience the wonderful welcome you get from all of the staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EITHER A QUICK BITE TO EAT TO A FULL MAIN MEAL. Yet again a wonderful meal to be had, this one is the fully loaded all day breakfast. These guys do a wonderful job here at Aunt Sally's. THIS IS STILL THE BEST CAFÉ IN THE SOUTH EAST.

I have been here with a friend on a number of occasions in the past year or so. It's a bog-standard London 'Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner' café which is so far as I can see a family business. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and accomodating. When we've been it's usually been lunchtime and the place is usually 85% full though we've always been able to find a seat. The only minor downside for me is that they only take cash so I have to remember to take some.

Nice place, visited for English breakfast in a Sunday morning. Busy, but still not crowded. Big portion food at decent price.

This place unfortunately suffered during the pandemic, and its resurgence is nothing short of relief. They did not use Covid-19 as an excuse to bolster their prices, and you will eat a handsome breakfast and a delicious coffee for £5.90. They make note of their regulars' preferences for their meals, and are extremely cordial and inviting upon entry. The kitchen is within easy viewing for the suspicious customer, and condiments are very well stocked. If you want somewhere to make you smile in the morning, drop in here and you will not be disappointed,

I’ve been going to this cafe with my friend and family for around 5 years now and the food is brilliant. A vary varied menu, the food always comes well presented and very large portions I’m very happy with the food and reasonable prices, but what I like the most is the sense of community and the lovely staff who know everyone so well,they know the orders as soon as you come into the cafe I can’t praise them enough

I normally have a traditional breakfast. For some reason when taking the order they don’t listen to the customer. I asked for sausage to be well cooked, it was cut in half and thrown in the chip fryer dripping in oil when served! Asked eggs to be medium and they were runny. If you can’t follow simple customer requests for a basic breakfast, something is wrong. 13/12/20:Gave it another chance. Worse than before. Pre cooked sausages and bacon refried on the grill soaked in oil. Toast was part of someone else’s leftovers reheated in the microwave! Absolute Filth! Never AGAIN!!!

Friendly staff. Varied and well cooked menu, using quality ingredients, with a couple of exceptions, especially the poor quality deep fried sausage. The wife ordered the smoked salmon breakfast, wow, generous in quantity, the smoked salmon was absolute mint, with lovely grilled tomatoes, crispy hash browns. My breakfast was lush apart from the sausage, very good bacon. Toast wasn't cheap bread either. Absolutely fabulous coffee. Would be even better with alternative milk.

It has the same atmosphere as a local pub, in that people actually talk to each other, instead of having their noses stuck on their mobiles ! The only problem is that there's an every-day customer who believes what he has to say has to be heard by everyone, and practically shouts, but that can happen anywhere.

What a lovely warm and welcoming family run cafe. The patrons welcomed each other with pleasant good mornings, smiles and there was an air of community and well wishers. The staff were very accommodating and gave excellent customer service. The prices were reasonable and we left a well deserved tip. Unequalled cappuccino in East Ham!

Its just been refurbished and looks modern and extremely fresh and clean. Didn't have to wait long for our food altho they were packed. Our food was perfect and everyone else's that we saw looked fresh and delicious. They have a wide range on their menu and their portion sizes are large too. Very fast clean and professiona...i look forward to returning next time I'm in East Ham.

Aunt Sally's is a great local cafe, lots of indoor seating. With outdoor benches. Good varied menu, at a reasonable price. All day breakfast is recommended and jacket potatoes are great. Friendly staff, clean establishment. Opposite the old East Ham market, which is sadly no longer there.
