The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other cuisines food

Another of my favourite cafes which has gone downhill recently! This time, they have lost the chap who was their star baker (IMO) . Soup is in quite a small bowl now but no matter…costs must be horrendous for cafes these days. But the cake selection! Mostly GF or vegan..Why?? The vast majority of people don’t require these food fad options so why make the majority of cakes along these lines? I was told , wrongly, by the girl owner that ‘they just taste the same’ but they most certainly don’t. There is no substitute for quality butter/good chocolate etc. Anyway, I chose the carrot cake which to me, was one of the best anywhere but it was truly awful. When I mentioned that the recipe seemed to have changed somewhat, I learned that their baker had left and the owner had ‘tried’ his own recipe. So disappointed in this once great wee cafe.

Such a lovely chicken burger, marinated to keep it juicy and grilled to perfection. The waitress even remembered us from our previous visit two weeks earlier! Reasonable price, friendly service.

I was looking for some nice vegan food and decided to check out the place. They had amazing Young Vegans pies and some good choices to fill your plate. I would definitely recommend mushroom stroganoff pie with mash and gravy on the side! Very lovely staff and helped a lot with the choices, recommend!

Disappointingly, standards are more than below average for the hot chocolate sold here. It doesn’t taste anything remotely like hot cocoa. The temperature was right but it still lacked the depth, bitterness and character of a classic hot chocolate. The liquid was a mix of powdered milk with powder mimicking sugared chocolate and water. Considering the main ingredient is powdered milk, at least I have an explanation for one of its faults. The packaging for the cup was made from plants which was a mystery in itself.

Really friendly staff who were really accommodating to our needs as a group. Also a very nice panini! We'll be back for coffee again!

Great customer service from the young girl behind the bar(she mentioned her name was hannah) she was very talkative and welcoming, I will definitely be returning :)

Viajamos desde Devon. Para ver amigos en North Kent y Bexleyheath. Solíamos vivir en la zona. Nosotros (la familia) llegamos a los panaderos. Estaba buscando específicamente sus absolutamente maravillosas Trufas de Ron. Y les quedaban 4. Valió la pena el viaje de ida y vuelta solo para esas Trufas de Ron. No me he encontrado con ninguno desde que nos mudamos.

Very much enjoyed our late lunch here. Young staff and manager were very friendly and helpful. Extremely good value for money, reasonable prices and big portions. We actually quite like the unique interior it’s cosy!

Unfriendly staff.I payed £4.50 for a coffee with syrup and when I told them that probably they forgot to put syrup in they just ignored me.Saturday 24/06/23 at 12:15…Totally disappointed from their behaviour.Not even offered me to add some syrup at all

The café had been recommended to us, with special regard to its proximity to Stithians Lake. Unfortunately, we feel the place doesn't quite live up to its billing. Not well signposted and perfunctory service (on enquiring about their sandwich selection we were just pointed towards a menu written up on a blackboard). In the end, my partner and I elected to just had pastries and an Americano coffee. The coffee was okay, but we've tasted better. A vegan breakfast is offered but where the sandwiches are concerned the selection is purely for carnivores. A pleasant enough visit but, sadly, not one we're likely to repeat.

Had breakfast, the service was excellent I notice him check the cutlery before bringing it to the table, attention to detail, the food well cooked and presented. Value for money. Great place would definitely recommend 5 stars

Filthy! If you want to eat in the most disgusting environment then this is your place. The floor looked liked it hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. The chairs are stained and full of debris. No tables cleared.

We visited the bakery today. The lady who served me was friendly. The Belgian bun was very scrumptious and very reasonably priced. The bakery had a lovely feel about it. The bakery was not busy at the time of visiting and all reasonable coronavirus measures were in place.
