Caffe Nero in Thanet

Really friendly staff who were really accommodating to our needs as a group. Also a very nice panini! We'll be back for coffee again!

I have gone to hundreds upon hundreds of cafe Nero's across the country as I would definitely say that I am a coffee addict. However this has to be by far the best. It's cozy, welcoming, social and inspiring atmosphere is perfect. The customer service here is outstanding and the staff always go the extra mile to make sure customers leave with a smile especially those who struggle to smile. There food and drinks are made to perfection and it's so cute how they make the cute little pictures on the forth of your coffee sometimes especially when most coffee shops get to complaisant to try. I had a sevear breakdown in Thanet last year after suffering from alot of abuse from everyone in my personal life especially my ex, alot of misconduct from all the professionals who were meant to help me, and illegal eviction from my privately rented dream home and first ever private rented home, then I lost my baby due to the lies alot of people told about me. Yet I have so many precious memories in this coffee shop with my baby, with the staff, and chatting to members of the community that was meant to be my dream home and refuge. This is a place I mis with all my heart. This cafe Nero is perfect.

Cruft's of Ramsgate!!!!! This is what Caffe Nero is nicknamed by my friends!!! Very appropriate for today!!! Two small dogs walking over the seating and then a customer got out a dog bowl - yes a dog bowl - out of her bag and placed it on one of the low tables and then split dry dog food everywhere!!! I thought the policy for dogs in Nero Cafes was that dog stayed on the floor, not on the furniture even if the owners placed covers/coat for their pets to sit on because, as I saw today, the dogs do not stay put!!! To add insult to injury, when the owners left with their pets, staff did not even come and wipe down the tables, come to that, I never saw any of the table wiped down today. Nero's get your act in order because if you do not someone will catch something from one of the surfaces due to poor hygiene.

Love this place my sanctuary go here most days either on my own or my mum , gf or doggie, staff are great and coffee is the best around bit pricey but that’s most coffee places love the bucket chairs to chill and people watch

We go to Caffe Nero in Ramsgate at least once a week and every single one of the staff are really lovely and so very helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. And the coffee and food is always delicious and well presented. We go to quite a few Nero's all over the place, Bromley, Beckenham, Canterbury and others too, and Ramsgate is the very best one!

Nice lady who served. Long brown hair she knows who she is. Polite friendly, the coffee is and was amazing. I love Neros and hopefully it wont go under as in the brand like so many have. If I had to be critical of anything the floor was a bit dirty that's it. Well done for making my coffee morning a happy one

I visited today with friends and the male barista with the long hair was incredibly rude. He asked my order alongside my friends and I politely clarified we were paying separately and he rolled his eyes and sarcastically said "yeah... so what do you want?". Took me quite a back to receive rude service when it was relatively quiet. He then rolled his eyes again when I ordered my drink. I left feeling very uncomfortable with my takeaway drink. The drink itself is like weak chocolate water, NOT a frappe and was incredibly overpriced for what it is. Overall, I will not be returning to this coffee shop. It has gone very downhill in the last few years.

The staff are so friendly, chatty and helpful, and of all the Caffe Nero's I go into, this one make the very best coffee and I give them 10 out of 10!

I don't think I'll be able to visit this place again after witnessing a DEEPLY UNPLEASANT woman with three children who had nothing but menacing and threatening comments to make to two of the children, the entire time. The female child of approximately 5 or 6 years old actually got smacked by the mother completely unnecessarily, and after her brother had hit her anyway. Unfortunately this area is marred by an army of disgusting pikey scum, ruining the enjoyment of this coffee bar which IS run by decent people. I'll be using only the Canterbury branches from now on.

Me and my daughter went in today for a drink after school today. We were served by Graham and Sam, they were so welcoming and friendly. The covid safety is really good and so organised. Everything was absolutely spotless. We were served very quickly and our drinks were lovely. Can't wait to go back soon!

Cortado coffee, straight in, pleasant staff member kept out spirits up with some fun chat, while the coffee was ,being made. All was good, coffee tasty and hot, and they are doing a good job with covid social distancing in their shop.

Two of us popped in on a busy morning for a coffee and a bottle of water. There was a queue,but service was done in reasonable time. Prices about average for this type of cafe,chairs very comfortable,and staff efficient and polite.

I do go in here quite a lot , staff are really nice and I do like the atmosphere in here of course the coffee and food isn’t cheap but then most of the coffee chains arnt , the coffee is really good as is the food the bucket chairs are really comfy but they do need some new ones some are split but very enjoyable place

My regular coffee house. Friendly staff and some good coffee makers there. Just need to have a sense of urgency when customers are waiting.

Why is it always so cold in here? Why is the front door left open on cold days. Also the WiFi is NEVER reliable and I spend my time searching for it. Had turkey pannini today and it's just warm not HOT!!! It's overpriced at the best of times so getting frustrated with this place.

We came in from a cold day,and we had a nice comfy sofa to sit in and warm up. Two toasted sandwiches,cake,tea cortado and water were £13,reasonable price,and quality was reasonable too.

After having eaten our mains elsewhere we adjourned for coffee and cake at this place. Cheesecake was tasty,and not too sweet. Cortado coffee was well made,just as I like it. Add in comfy sofa seats,a pleasant visit.

we called in here for a coffee. We always have decaffeinated drinks and were surprised to find we were charged an extra 10p each for the decaffeinated rather than regular drinks. Went to alternative places after that and will give Caffe Nero a miss in future.

Good place for a quick stop, coffee and chat. When busy can take a long time to get served but otherwise pretty good. Coffee is always good.

Saturday morning RUINED by a non stop fire alarm piercing my brain. Was looking forward all week to my coffee at Nero but was terrible experience.

Lovely member of staff. She was friendly and efficient. Served me quickly. Tables kept clear and I did not feel rushed to leave.

Although part of the Nero chain, the Ramsgate Nero cafe exudes personal ownership by the long-serving staff. There are regulars - every day to every (say) Thursday ones and the staff know them all. Visitors thus are easy for them to spot and help through the "system". Service is always bright and cheerful. One can sit in the windows and enjoy the passing foot traffic or take a table further back for a leisurely read of the various papers on offer.

I needed a place to sit and wait for a friend, which my dog. The allowed me to sit quietly in the corner, with my pooch under the table. The were closing, which I didn't realise, but were kind and patient. My friend never showed, but they didn't bat an eye, that I didn't purchase anything. Top marks for customer service.

i suppose like most coffee chain places all very much the same nice seating and atmosphere is good,staff nice too,but expensive and food is way over priced but if just going in for a coffee its ok

Stopped in Caffe Nero for coffee and cake What a treat. Best chocolate brownie ever, so moist and gooey inside. Coffee was amazing. Staff are lovely really helpful and service was really quick. Only criticism I could have done with a larger slice.

Staff working as quick as they can but still friendly. Lovely coffee and sandwiches. So much better than my local costa branch! Hadn't visited for years as moved out of ramsgate but had a lovely lunch there and will go back next time I'm in ramsgate

Great venue. Comfortable and spacious. Great tasting coffee. Friendly staff. It has a great feel about it and was a perfect place to hold a meeting with another business owner.

Coffee and cake are very tasty. We stop here most Saturdays . The staff are friendly and will go the extra mile to help you . If you need your tray carried to table they will happily do so . The manager is always helpful. I cannot fault this Caffè Neros

Il caffè non è bevibile, meno che mai il cappuccino. I dolci, invece, sono molto buoni. Il locale è accogliente, ci sono sia tavolini con le sedie che tavolini con le poltrone.

I quite often pop in here, for a quick drink and a sandwich. Not the cheapest sandwiches but they are delicious and well prepared and lots of fillings and choice

Nice and friendly staff just add to this Nero's appeal. Chilling and relaxing, nothing too much trouble! Can be a little busy on Fridays lunchtime when the market's one but still worth the effort.

Today like every morning to go to the bar for my usual coffee and croissant but I was really very disappointed by the manager who pretended not to understand pretending and laughing behind me along with the waitress on duty ever more caffe nero or always taken caffe nero was my favorite but never today more wonder of the manager who seemed still drunk from yesterday

We stopped just for a coffee and it was a typical Nero's good coffee and good staff. Very pleasant sitting outside watching the world go by.

If you've been to one Caffe Nero, you've been to them all. The staff are pleasant enough, however the food and coffee is the usual formulaic mass produced passionless fare one would expect from a corporate giant.

I visit this Caffe Nero on numerous occasions, usually whilst I'm in the town and fancy a coffee, or to takeaway something before I start work. Coffee is delicious and the baristas are skilled, and the food is excellent. I'm quite partial to the falafel and hummus wrap from time to time. I've yet to try any of the delicious looking sweet treats, mostly due to me trying to eat healthy, but maybe on my next visit!

Unfortunately the staff member serving us clearly didn't want to work here. She seemed annoyed at having to serve us coffee or even speak to us. When we enquiries about types of tea available she wouldn't even make the effort to check which tea they had available. Nice coffee though.

Usually a friendly and personal welcome. I visit regularly and find the baristas to be mostly amicable and helpful. There was one occasion when I arrived with my family at 1703 and was told upon entering that "we close in 10 mins". With the most bemused look I could find I said "do you? cos it says 17:30 on the door!!" To this I got a roll of the eyes and "OK 15 mins!" try for 27 mins. I will not let this one person spoil my judgement of this place, however, as I really enjoy visiting it.

This is a very handy high street cafe. Part of the national chain you are guaranteed that the coffee is always good and strong, with a great choice of sweet fattening or savoury treats to munch. There are tables to sit at (good if you have kids) or leather sofas to lounge in. Central to the shops it is a great place to crash after some retail therapy. Good strong coffee, an abundance of snacks and a great handy position, what more can you ask for?

After specifically asking if Filter coffee was available, I watched the girl (not a Barista !) prepare an expreeso coffee, when I said I did not ask for expresso, she then told me I did not understand what I wanted as expresso was the same as filter, also there was no cream available. Not nice to be told by staff that you do not know what you want.

the staff are very friendly and this café offers the usual nero fayre, but it doesn't have the same atmosphere as most neros, especially on market days. need I say more? sitting outside is not very desirable.

Took my daughter and grandson here for lunch and it was lovely it was very busy but we managed to find a suitable table which was clean. The whole place was clean and tidy the water jugs were full as was the serviettes sugar and stirrers. The staff were friendly and greeted us with a smile and the food was delicious and tasted fresh. The coffee was made perfectly and we had a lovely time and will definitely return.

Visited with my boyfriend for afternoon tea. Waitress/barista incredibly polite and our drinks were served quickly and were, of course, absolutely delicious. Will definitely be returning in the near future.

This is your typical caffe nero offering drinks and food, it is set in the town centre so handy for a drink whilst you are shopping.

Have been here on several occasions with my teenage Daughter, always had polite, friendly service. My favourite drink there is definitely Mocha with cream!!

I went here on Monday at 5.10 and was greeted by 'We close in 20 minutes', not the type of welcome I would expect. Luckily I explained that I wont take 20 minutes to drink a coffee and should have added though I am a regular Caffe Nero customer, I would not be going to this branch any time soon.

Had a fab double espresso con Panno and it was fab. I like the fact they provide a tap water with the coffee the only big chain to do so. Good situation on the high street. I like Neros it's a cool chain with a good feel and quality products
