Lovely little garden for children with pigs, chickens and rabbits. Nice chilled atmosphere.

What a strange place. They had a party in the event room, therefore all staff were focused on that. We went opposite to the fish shop and bought that back to sit in their garden with a pint of Coke. The beer garden also has chickens a massive pig and some guinea pig pigs. There are a few things for the kids to play on. Generally speaking a very strange place, but memorable!!

Spent a great afternoon with friends at The Rodney watching The Jersey Way. Drink topped up all through the performance. A lovely paella and much singing and dancing. Thank you Karen and staff, a good Saturday afternoon, even the rain didn't spoil it 😀

Tried to visit for a few pints with some friends on a Monday evening at 8pm. Lights were on, bar staff were present, but apparently they were closed as v.quiet on Mondays! This despite their website claiming the place was open evenings. Sad to see the impending demise of yet another ‘local’.

Lovely little pub, with a fab garden! Only popped in for a drink but want to come back for food! Only negative point would I’d love if the menu was available online, as someone who’s Autistic I can’t visit for food without seeing the menu prior! But that’s just me :)

Lovely people, lovely place but unfortunately they allow vaping inside. Dreadful

This a family friendly venue, we met with 6 other friends for Sunday lunch. The décor is a traditional pub format, with a single full length bar at the front. They have live music most w/ends and show most live sports. Because there was 8 of us we were seated in the function room at the rear. On offer was 1/2 chicken, beef pork & gammon, Very generous portions and excellent quality. Always best to book.

Thanks to all at the Rodney for making our daughters 21st birthday party so special . We booked at fairly short notice and the whole thing went brilliantly . Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a party venue . Staff really helpful , food plentiful whole experience fantastic. Thankyou once again.

so my pregnant friend wanted peanuts so i picked them up and gave them too her ( i was going to pay obviously i had already ordered drinks ) bar staff where extremely rude tried to belittle me terrible experience and terrible staff would not recommend

Relaxing pub. Good beer and cider selection

Nice pub, friendly staff. There's three main areas to this pub, the main bar which is fairly cozy. The large function room to the rear which also houses the pool table and then there's the garden. Quite a spread out seating area in the garden, accompanied my some farm animals and a children's climbing frame/swings. Nice pub especially on a nice day. Would definitely recommend.

First time at the pub it was very friendly and I would love to come back the next month I am down that way

Proper local pub . Beer excellent . Staff very pleasant . Seating comfortable . Toilets spotless . Have transformed beer garden into a lovely oasis together with a pig or two to keep children and adults intrigued by their activities . Well recommended .

Love the Rodney, we missed Sunday roast, but they did manage to make a meal up for my 89yr old Mum, very friendly and welcoming, worth a visit. Sunday roast was lovely.

I represent a group of angry and upset residents of High Street Garlinge and areas surrounding your pub . We have reported you to the council in regards of the anti social and loud music at the weekends. We will continue to do so until something is done about it. You need learn some consideration of the local residents around you. I have further reported this to the police concerning a total disregard of social distancing. We hope this can be resolved with you making changes to how you go about your business.

Went for a private party, buffet was provided. Staff were attentive despite being busy.

Have been going there for their fantastic Sunday dinner for months amazing food fantastic atmosphere and the staff are brilliant cannot fault it

Visited for the first time on Friday they had a karaoke which was hosted by the landlady,lovely voice was made very welcome by staff and customers alike ,had a great evening thankyou john
