We visited as a family, friendly staff and great service. The environmental impact of this place is concerning, all plastic cups and was told I couldn’t use a glass. No facilities to recycle so had to take the cups home with us. Really shocking given the current climate situation. Pictures all over front of shop promoting plastic cups. Please do better! Will not be returning until the policy on this changes.

Cappuccino was awful, far too hot and totally tasteless. I know this is a tea shop but if you can’t make coffee don’t offer it! The panini we ordered was also very poor.....served nuclear hot, completely flat and without any garnish or love.

Best breakfast around. Love it here! Always seem to busy but efficient service. Menu choice is great. The food and drinks are lovely

They make great coffee which I enjoy since 2016. The Espresso, Mocha, and Cortado are best in the menu. They serve nice brownies and biscotti biscuits as well.

Vine aquí recientemente después del trabajo para algo de comida y un poco de viento por el día. Me sugirieron una visita de amigos, pero no había hecho una reserva, sin embargo, eso no fue un problema! Me recibió una camarera llamada Neeve y me dieron un menú sin problemas! Cuando pedí el filete e hice algunos ajustes se acomodó sin problemas y recibí mi comida rápidamente. Disfruto de mis filetes y tengo que decir que este fue uno de mis favoritos que he tenido. Cocinado a mi nivel deseado y con los ligeros cambios en la comida en su conjunto que hizo una comida muy sabrosa y un bien vale la pena el precio! Durante toda mi visita, Neeve me controló asegurándome de que la comida estuviera bien y si quería más bebidas, pero en ningún momento pensé que me estuvieran controlando demasiado o que saliera corriendo. En general, el servicio fue rápido y eficiente y la comida era buena y se adaptó a mis necesidades. Me aseguraré de visitar de nuevo y recomendar a otros para venir aquí. Muchas gracias a todos y muchas gracias especialmente a Neeve por ser tan amable y servicial y proporcionar un servicio por encima de las expectativas!

Nice coffee food OK. Served our coffee in takeaway cups despite having ordered hot food and sitting in. Proper cups given to people coming in after us.Also the Barista shows off a little.

Lovely place to bring the dogs for a walk. The fact the cafe sells lovely food and fairly cheap is a huge bonus.

Big Sports bar close to L1 with lot's of screens. Food and drink options are typical for a sports bar but a bit on the pricy side. Went there twice in a weekend to watch some footy and rugby. On the Sunday they unfortunately had the slowest bar mate in all of Liverpool serving behind the bar but there was service on the tables as well which solved that issue.

Called in late on Bank Holiday Monday and enjoyed a lovely cappuccino and chocolate cake. It was in fact a huge slice of cake which was chocolatey light and absolutely delicious We’ll definitely be returning for more cake the next time we are in Appleby

Small bap with a bit of bacon with not to be resold individual small coke? 6.50. Had put all supplies away but charged full price for meagre offering.

This is my favourite place for a bite to eat in the area. There are some good vegan options. I usually pick the Vegan Shawarma (soy doner kebab) which comes with salad, pickles, tahini-fenugreek dressing and pitta. I would also recommend the hot chocolate and the plum loaf. It has a nice relaxed atmosphere and is altogether charming.

Cocktails were delightful. The spicy watermelon margarita was great but tiny and served in a thimble. The oh my mango/mango and pear cocktail was refreshing and lovely. Brooklyn lager? Poretti? We’re in Cornwall, a place continually fighting for its regional identity and you serve this muck instead of Korev/St Austel, offshore/Sharps, Harbour brewing, verdant, firebrand or any of the other many Cornish breweries? It’s insulting to Cornwall and also awful BEER!

Having read the Andrew M review I thought I would test his theory. To my surprise the shop was open and had a lovely ambience (maybe because Mr M wasn't there). As an owner operator establishment it is lovely and all the regulars seemed to understand that people can't work 24hrs a day, 365 days a year. Maybe Mr M should send everyone his schedule so they can be open for him I would thoroughly recommend Mama's if you want a local, non corporate coffee shop

We were on a long drive and picked Llandrindod as our lunch stop. Chose Portland for its proximity to our one-hour parking space. Windows looked like they needed a wipe and the lobby a bit tired but we hadn't long. HOWEVER! The interior was beautifully clean and cosy, and many tables already taken even though it was early for lunchtime, so it's obviously popular. Decent WC, too. We had lovely sandwiches. Very reasonable prices, quick service although clearly fresh food not ready made, and the staff are friendly. Please note, cash only (or was that day).
