Nice coffee food OK. Served our coffee in takeaway cups despite having ordered hot food and sitting in. Proper cups given to people coming in after us.Also the Barista shows off a little.

Loved the vibe. Avocado on toast really good. Fab coffee. The server made it for us he was fantastic, really chatty and cheerful.

Much needed coffee after an early start. I remarked to the server that the croissants were all very flat and unappetising. She replied that it was because they were freshly cooked and that they were going be the best I had ever tasted. They really weren't! Totally inedible. However a lovely barista called Samuel came over to me after a few min and gave me a lovely properly cooked croissant! Wonderful service from Sam and he deserves a pat on the back fir going above and beyond. Thanks Sam!

Rude staff that talk about you behind your back, when you point out that they didn’t get your order right. Terrible coffee, inedible food. Generally a shocking service. Avoid them at Stansted airport at all costs, walk around the corner, and you’ll be faced with far better choices than this lack lustre excuse for a coffee shop.

My favourite place in Stansted Airport. Friendly service with very reasonable prices makes this a regular stop when flying out from here.

The most jolly and eFficient welcome team making Stanstead a much friendlier and better experience. The counter team haVe tremendous people skills and such service is not often found at very much more expensive establishments in chelsea and beyond ! Thank you

We were really surprised at how talented in languages Sam is, what a great surprise to have such a friendly and welcoming service, he sure makes the whole experience of just buying a quick grab and coffee a lot more fun. Give him a promotion too. Great service and good coffee, however, the breakfast wrap was less than exciting.

What a breath of fresh air the staff here are and with great coffee too. Sam even managed to chase down a family guy who left his phone in the cafe. Who ever is selecting the staff here they are doing a great job. I wish them the best for the upcoming season.

Having read the reviews I’m going to go ahead and say I was served by Sam. It was 7:30, he’d been working since 3am and wasn’t due to finish until 11 but he was full of energy (apparently he was also full of espresso) He was friendly and helpful and completed my order in many languages. Sam started my holiday well and it was nice to see such a happy welcoming face Give him a promotion 🌟

We had a great breakfast and got served by Sam, such a talented barista! He speaks several languages and serves you with the biggest smile and the greatest expertise. We highly recommend stopping by. Great products and super lovely staff.

Coffee is usually pretty bad in the UK but this could enter easily my top 10 worst (so far). You know a coffee is bad when you have to add an entire sachet of sugar, really bad if you have to add two. If more, just throw it way, don’t risk diabetes. Respect your palate. On the wall of Harris + Hoole they have posters advertising the freshness of their roasted coffee, directly traded, brewed by the best baristas, supposedly after 40 hours of training. The one who prepared my coffee was probably still a trainee or missed a few hours of training (I suspect most of them). I didn’t even get a nice mug, just a paper cup. Oh, welll... Nice music, though.

We had a very early morning flight to Salzburg so this was our breakfast cafe of choice and although very busy, we did manage to get a small table by the wall. The long counter had quite a queue but the baristas were friendly & excellent in serving us fairly quickly. We had a bacon bun (round bun) & a Full English minus Hash Brown & Baked Beans - both were delicious. There are vegetarian & vegan options too. The coffee was very good too and we had time for two cups since we'd already checked in. We can't believe they're open 24/7 and how fabulous the staff are. We definitely recommend Harris & Hoole - we enjoyed eating at the Cafe so much we returned to have lunch there on our next flight from Stansted to Dublin and both our return flights back to Stansted.

I bought an egg mayo doorstep - there wasn’t much filling, so it must have been the bread that raised the price to £3.65! I was disgusted to find a huge crack inside the cup. When I pointed this out to a member of staff he shrugged and added it to the rest of the dirty cups. I shall avoid Harris+Hoole in future.

Harris + Hole at Stansted Airport has been my highlight for more than three years of frequent travelling ... Decent sandwiches (e.g. cheese + tomato) and lovely drinks. NOW the recipe for the chai latte has changed - I might as well order hot water. When I asked to have the drink redone, cashier staff were friendly and customer oriented, but the “barista“ didn't give a d**n, saying to his colleague he wouldn't care. Also, handing over the new (equally bad) chai latte by saying “a hopfully thicker latte“ is disrespectful. *Never skimp on quality* It's as simple as that. Bye bye favourite coffee shop!!

I'm sure few people look forward to airports these days, but Harris & Hoole invariably help to lower my stress levels. All the staff genuinely seem to enjoy & to take pride in their work and are unfailingly cheerful, friendly & happy to listen & cater to any requests. (I'm very fussy when it comes to coffee!) A special hat-tip to Amy on my last visit - my coffee was perfect!

Have to say that the last time I was in the airport I was drawn to Costa coffee - why I never know. H&H are just through security and if you are looking for something light they are, in my opinion, ideal. Toasted sandwiches are sublime and they do a decent cuppa!

Found this lovely cafe at Stanstead Airport. It was one of the only "coffee shops" that we found. Most are restaurants or fast food. It was a lovely place to have a snack and drink before moving to our boarding gate. Great pastries and a good selection of various snacks and drinks. Nice place to while away some time.

The only place to have coffee in Stansted. Wonderful coffee made by Alex I believe - very pleasant young man. I’ll definitively come here again on next trip. Funky, easy listening music to go with the coffee. And still able to dip into my Leonard Cohen poetry book without too much intrusion from the music. ☕️ life is good. Fedoras off to you at H & H. Very early morning flight. My wife and I had a coffee and pastry each, all delicious . Stansted packed out at 4 in the morning. The staff were great.

Waiting for my flight I got peckish and got in the queue at this stanstead airport coffee shopChose a West Country cheddar sandwich which was excellentat £3.20 and filter coffee with milk The server was cheerful, god knows why he thought I was Swedish and quick. Used tables were cleared and cleaned quickly, definitely worth coming here, enjoyed the visit. Thank you

Sadly, I plan to get to the airport early, so I can sit here a few minutes, and enjoy a cup of tea. Their brand of tea is not my favorite, and I wish they would bring back a nice jasmine, but the quality of service ensures that this is my favorite (actually, only) stop during my frequent visits to Stansted Airport. The porridge has also been pretty good on previous visits. So, for an airport cafe, food as good as anywhere else in the airport, good tea, and service that I would be thrilled to experience out in town, much less in a harried environment like an airport. Five stars for the service.

Although at the airport..had the same high standards as our local branch..great cheese toastie..nice coffees..and lovely hot chocolate..

Very poor chai latte, the hot chocolate tasted like it was taken straight from a machine, the beef wellington croissant had a disgusting tapenade on, although, the cookie tasted good.

Best food i had in an airport so far. Cheese toasti and banana loaf. Expensive but like in anythe airport. Team funny, polite , and multilingual 😀 Cheers!

In attesa del volo facciamo colazione….. 1 cappuccino (£ 3), 1 espresso (£ 2,20) + 1 muffin al blueberry (£ 2,50). Il cappuccino ed il caffè sono nella media, ma il muffin è buonissimo. I prezzi sono molto buoni e più bassi di quelli pagati per fare colazione a Londra…. Considerando che si è in aeroporto ne sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito….

Only had a coffee but its easily the best coffee at the airport. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Stansted Airport is not the most promising territory for a budding restaurant manager. When we were there it was crammed to the gills with people who competed for the few seats that are provided by the restaurant for customers. It seems to do a bigger trade among grab-and-go clients. No complaints about the sandwiches or the coffee but the dining space was cramped and choked. There's not much the H&H; manager can do when the larger environment is so crowded, anonymous and sterile. You can keep the wolf from the door here but that's about it.

Was er zo klaar mee met die slappe koffie en cappuccino in London. Eindelijk iemand die het snapt. Zoals gezegd beste koffie. Is net na security check voor alle winkels. Loop er niet voorbij want je krijgt spijt als je verderop koffie besteld

What a gem of a shop in Stansted airport. Great coffee available. Chatty and pleasant staff. Plus actual real cups not paper ones.

Ci siamo fermati in questo bar in attesa dell'annuncio del gate. Ho chiesto se avessero prodotti senza glutine ed il ragazzo in cassa ci ha mostrato dei biscotti e un panino, per poi dirci che comunque più in là c'era un ristorante totalmente gluten free. Ho deciso di fermarmi qui e prendere dei biscottini mele e cannella ed un cappuccino, il ragazzo ci ha anche fatto uno sconticino per aver preferito loro. Mai scelta fu più giusta, questi biscotti sono una droga, ne ho fatto scorta prima di andar via! Col cappuccino mi sono ustionata la lingua ma ne è valsa la pena, buono anche quello!

Ci siamo sempre fermati in questo bar facile e subito all'inizio del percorso del freeshop. Qualcosa è cambiato non solo dell'esposizione dei prodotti. I tavolini non venivano puliti al ricambio di clientela. Ci abbiamo dovuto pensare noi stessi. Il personale di servizio al banco si è ridotto a due persone. Speriamo in un miglioramento.

Arriving at a crowded airport for breakfast, you never know what you will find. Answer, really good coffee served in proper china by friendly, cheerful staff and quite simply the best hot croissants we have ever found in a British airport. Prices were very reasonable too and seating was sennsibly arranged so you were not touching knees with the next time.

Can't find a better coffee around and is always a pleasure have a chat with the staff, lovey people and great coffee!! Don't go anywhere else :)

Slow service and sub par food in comparison to what is usually offered by this chain. Was looking forward to this treat before flight but was disappointed

I travel through stansted every 2-3 weeks and usually get coffee at one of the massively busy places. Today i gave H and H a go as it was quiet. Very friendly folks but sooooo slow. They would die if they were in a busy place. My large latte weighed almost nothing as i picked it up and it turned out to be a cup of froth. More like an oversized cappucino. Oh and they forgot to hand over my pastry! Apart from that ... Great! . Back to the usual places next time. Shame.

Had a flat white to go, before my plane. The coffee is very nice and staff are kind and funny. Good value for the quality: £2.50 for a flat white. The have every sort of coffee and pastry available as well.

Siempre usamos este lugar, inmediatamente en el aeropuerto de Stanstead airside Siempre bueno todo pero por encima de eso, el personal siempre dispuesto, agradable, conversador y son obviamente disfrutando de su trabajo. Estas personas dan temprano por las mañanas un ascensor y es un placer encontrarse en el comienzo de cualquier viaje!

He volado desde stansted durante muchos años y todo lo que tengo quiero es un lugar que comí un buen café y un sanndwich por un precio que no requiere un préstamo de un banco y todo servido con una sonrisa sincera y un poco de bromas! He encontrado! ! Mi agradecimiento a personal verdaderamente interesados! !

Excellent coffee stop between security and before the mayhem. Top rated flat white. Most places cannot get it right these guys certainly did.

been here before and enjoyed but really let down today we arrived at 10 in the morning and the bacon butties were all sold out which was a pity

Ordered the largest Cappuccino and received what I can only say is a small cup, so definitely not value for money. The coffee is nice, but drink size lets it down, disappointment in small order!

stopped here while running for a plane, got a fantastic coffee and bacon sandwich- really tasty and not too expensive in comparison to some of the other outlets airside. i would definitely stop here again.

Dejó aquí recientemente en camino a través del caos de Standsted. Pedí café desde el escritorio y a pesar de ser el único cliente me dijeron que tome asiento y espere mi número. Por suerte no tengo prisa y como tal no molestarse con los varios minutos de espera para que aparezca el café dude desde las entrañas de la tienda.

Me entra en el artisinal vibe (pino fuera por teal tapicería de cuero), ya que salía de seguridad. Por desgracia mis expectativas de calidad no se cumplieron. Me imaginaba que sería similar a pret a manger, pero había sólo una gama limitada de ensalada/sopa disponible, y la ensalada que instalamos en orzo era insípida. Las grandes bebidas calientes son más pequeñas que un Starbucks alto. La música también es muy ruidoso para una cafetería - luché para oír el habla (y en barista retrospectiva, deberían haber dejado entonces). La próxima vez voy a alejar de mi hambre por otros 2 minutos y comer en algún lugar después de duty free.

Nice place to chill before a flight, fantastic music. Nice and cool, light airy place. Staff friendly, great coffee and great selection of teas. Good prices.

Per essere nell'aeroporto di Stanstead, dove lo staff deve vedere migliaia di persone al giorno con uno stress notevole, servizio molto cortese. Finalmente qualcuno che propone dei cappuccini veri, fatti decentemente, e non in quello schifo di bicchieri di carta che vanno bene solo per i barbari. Buone le brioches, unico appunto è che non è opportuno metterle vicino all'entrata, alla portata di tutti e non sufficientemente protette dalla "contaminazione" da passaggio.

A pesar de su pretensión de servir el mejor café estuvimos nada contenta. La espera fue demasiado tiempo probablemente porque los dos chicos en la máquina de café estaban demasiado ocupados hablando entre sí, para ser eficiente. El capuchino de mi esposo no estaba y con espuma y tanto los cafés eran tibio. El sabor era simplemente no está mal, no es tan bueno como lo hacen en casa. Los croissants eran pasados. No volveremos.

Cuando pasas la seguridad, uno de los primeros lugares que ver es Harris y Hoole. Así que pensé que no tenía casi ninguna cola tan enfermo probarlo.

This would be much better placed before airside, so you can visit before & after your trip. Much better than the Costa in arrivals at the moment. Great coffee before a flight.

Esta semana, me detuve en el infierno de compras que ahora es aeropuerto Stansted para el desayuno, cuando esperando por mi vuelo se llamaba. No había nada extraordinario o inusual de la comida o bebida en este establecimiento, pero lo que sobresalió fue el amable servicio y dicharachero que me hicieron sentir bienvenido y valorada. El personal hizo un gran esfuerzo y que era de agradecer. Tenga en cuenta que el libro blanco No plana es tres tiros de café, y prestar atención después de haberlo pedido para solicitar su número, actualmente 3S para comida para llevar, 2S para beber ins.
