The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Other cuisines food

We’ve been in twice recently, only to walk back out again. There is a smell of stagnant water, which makes the place unbearable.

Used to love coming here and have been for years, but I have noticed a decline in quality and in service. Today really was the final straw. After trying to correct an order which was brought to us wrong I was made to carry around our plates of food to and from the kitchen whilst the staff watched as they couldn’t be bothered to do it themselves. The lady who I kindly asked to help correct the order was nothing but cold and rude. The food itself has come to the same quality as Wetherspoon's but for 3x the price. Most of the food looked as if it’d been sat out in a buffet and definately wasn’t fresh. As I say I’m really dissapointed due to how fab it used to be but will not be returning due to how I was treated today.

This cafe used to be known as ‘The Tollgate Cafe’, however, after the previous owners retired, it was bought out by the people who own & run ‘The Best Dressed Crab, a few hundred yards further down the beach, it is now known as ‘The Harbour View’. Sadly, what was once a cute, well managed & friendly café with very reasonable food, has now become a place with sometimes rude staff & extortionate prices. It’s still a lovely place to sit & watch the harbour from, but £2.00 for a can of Coke, no thank you, go elsewhere, I do now.

Waited 20 minutes before going in to ask where our food was as was quite busy so thought we might have a little wait. I was told my order hadn’t gone through even though paid for. We had to wait another 5 minutes before we got our food and that was because I explained that we would be late for the show if we did not get it. Although the adults food was very nice it wasn’t enjoyable due to having to rush it with getting it late, I wouldn’t have minded but we had given ourselves plenty of time to eat or so we thought! We ordered a Peter Rabbit Picnic Basket for my grand daughter and were very disappointed as we chose the crisps, drink and cup cake from the counter and her cheese sandwich just came on a plate, expected more from the advertised picnic basket even if it only came in a Peter Rabbit box! Our experience wasn’t a good one and won’t be repeated as just a sorry wasn’t really good enough to lessen our supposedly relaxed lunch experience before the show.

El personal fantástico, muy acogedor y amable - incluso con mi cockapoo menos que perfectamente comportado! Fueron eficientes y nos registraron varias veces dando al perro un tazón de agua y algunas golosinas. La comida que tuvimos era deliciosa y no tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para ello. No puedo esperar a volver otra vez.

Went into Small Batch, Hove Station at 4.20 pm yesterday. I ordered a coffee as a dine-in customer. Was told that I would have to use a take away cup as they would be closing soon. I left but not before telling the cashier that I would have drunk my coffee within 10 minutes. Small Batch website indicates that they close at 5.00 pm. BTW there were no other customers. Anyway, I went down the road and gave another coffee shop my business.

Good selection of snack food and beverages. Lovely seaside location. Sit indoor on a windy day and look out over the beach and sea. Or sit outdoors on a nice day and watch the world go by. Pleasant staff, reasonable prices, they do not do cooked breakfasts but plenty of ready prepared options available.

We stopped here whilst staying in Staithes for the weekend. It was a decent warm day, for November, so we sat outside watching the waves crashing outside the arbour walls. The choice of food and drink is just amazing, and the lady serving was friendly and welcoming. Our drinks and snacks were top quality and they had oat milk too. Great spot to visit and great prices too.

Parece ( pls hágamelo saber si me equivoco ) , Todas las casas cierran en Londres , ¿es porque el wokismo y el backgroundismo aquí cuentan y todo está permitido en base a eso? ¡Y de hecho como invitado me niego a disfrutar de las casas en el Reino Unido donde el estado de ánimo es el elitismo shabbismo exceso como un desafío! La casa en Roma está abierta. ; tan elegante y limpio con gente amable y educada ; Piense también en Estambul y París, pero donde los derechos son (de nuevo) sobre la base del «elitismo» como en el Reino Unido el personal cierra la puerta descansando y tomando bebidas ! Mah! Mentalidad

Always accommodate my needs for vegan cheese. Have to order normal cheese on the app but always change it for me, no problems, when we ring up, which is brilliant customer service. The store got quite busy with calls but the staff worked hard to get my pizza done on time. Very friendly and happy staff member that served me despite being overwhelmingly busy. Pizza was tasty and generous with the toppings.

Hadn't been here before, personally I wouldn't return. Three of us went, my two friends had rib of beef which wasn't cheap, the waitess on ordering it told us they couldn't guarantee meat to fat ratio and it can sometimes be chewier due to a higher fat content! It was suppose to come with Kale, no Kale was on the plate, to which we were told its seasonal, they should just put seasonal veg on the menu. The mashed potatoe was luke warm. I had fish and chips again over priced compared to other places, I was told that they didn't have triple cooked chips instead it would be Fries, that was fine. When the meal came they were triple cooked chips and were luke warm!! The chef and waiting staff clearly don't communicate. My friend asked for horseradish sauce, a tiny bit arrived apparently they had ran out due to Sunday roasts. Surely they can manage the amount of horseradish needed and order enough to last the week ahead. My friend had to ask several times for mustard. On our bill they had added a Pepsi which we hadn't had. The waiting staff are pleasant and polite, we did tell the waitress of our disappointment and they removed the service charge and discounted the bill so they did take our criticism seriously.

Lovely place to have coffee and cake. So friendly and helpful. Gluten free and vegan options. We had a sharing platter delicious follow by great coffee and cake. Good portion size and great value I would recommend a visit

Excellent. Coffee was great and food very good. service was efficient and very dog friendly. Would go again if in the area.

Went in on spec for lunch, not knowing what to expect, couldn't have been better. The lady who served us was really helpful, to the point of suggesting that I "don't salt the chips as they're already seasoned, unless you want more salt!" I had a Beef & Horseradish Suet Pudding, with roast vegetables and "seasoned " chips, with an excellent red wine gravy, my wife a bunless burger. Both very enjoyable. The pub also has, arguably, the best gents toilet wall I've seen! No good me explaining, go see it. Not paying by cash was not a problem. We'd happily return

Had a Xmas voucher to use so we returned to the Blues I had the Steak Pie which was amazing came with the usual veg all cooked to perfection had a few drams as well really like it here
