Really nice tasty lunch of sausages in rolls and carrot cake. Nice coffee shop views of the river and multiple little rooms, little intimate rooms.

Great customer service provided by really friendly staff. Wonderful hot chocolate served in a lovely old quirky building!

This place is well worth a visit. The staff treat you with such kindness. The best coffee in town, with a homely atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to Coffee #1 in Haverfordwest as it's more than a coffee shop, it's a social experience.

A lovely cafe situated on the banks of the river right next to the old bridge. The staff were friendly, the service was quick and the two cakes we had were excellent. The salted caramel cheesecake slice was rich and sumptuous with the sweet flavour nicely balanced with the salt. The lemon drizzle was a good sponge base oozing with lots of tasty sticky lemon syrup.

Came here today for a sit down coffee & cake! The staff were very welcoming, friendly & helpful! Highly recommend the cappuccino cake with a mocha! 😋 Will be returning very soon! ☕️

Lovely setting overlooking the river. The Coffees were superb. They had a new roast from Africa and we made the right choice to give it a try, 1 and a half cups each, (bearing in mind the next longish drive.) Loved Haverford West and it's peope, so friendly and helpful.

Dear me, coffee#1 - you need to sort out the attitude of your staff. Yes, it's a Bank Holiday. Yes, it's busy, but their constant, loud moaning to customers about their workload and their downright rudeness... when did the customer stop being right by the way? - is actually making people feel unwelcome. Surely that isn't the object of the exercise?

This is a typical Coffee 1, which is a good thing. I’ve always found them to be very relaxed coffee shops, with nice tasting coffees and even better food, and this place was no different. Every time I’m down that way, I try to pop in.

Great cafe with excellent coffee and choice of foods, staff very pleasant, but not wearing masks ! Customers were all wearing face coverings, so why not staff? Wales rules say masks should be worn by all staff working in public spaces.

The outside area always looks grubby. Tables do not get cleared for ages despite the fact that customer numbers are low. I ordered orange juice which tasted nasty cheap stuff . They used to make their own which was lovely . Nice choice of food but please clear the tables .

Popped in for a lunch time pot of tea with my wife. Ordered a few Welsh cakes, which were well past their sell by date. Went to take them back but the queue was massive so couldn't be bothered. Won't be back.

This coffee shop was a lucky find with delicious coffee and home baking. They have savouries, pastries, cakes, toasted teacakes, salads, soups, and Welsh Cakes, etc. In other words they have a really extensive menu for breakfast, morning tea and lunch. They open Mon-Sat at 8:00am & close at 5:30pm. Sundays 8:30am-4:00pm. We got a really warm welcome and sat at the only table that was free in this obviously popular coffee shop. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning tea in this cafe with its cosy & comfy sofas & seating. Its got mobility access and bathroom facilities which is a bonus. We decided to sit inside as we'd struck up a conversation with some of the locals, but there are outside tables too. A plus is that they are family/child friendly and cater for all dietary requirements. This is an excellent Coffee Shop we'd definitely return to.

Had coffee and cake and was excellent. Service and selection is second to non. Only thing that surprised me was they do allow dogs other than guide dogs which isn't to everyone's satisfaction. The local CPO came in and was so friendly to us as tourists - definitely worth a visit.

Slightly above average but def. not 'Very good'.A busy coffee shop to say the least, maybe a mix of the location and the wide selection, definitely because it's dog friendly too.Free wifi (though you need to sign up, which will no doubt end up with spam in your inbox, but such is society these days.A gingerbread latte (due to the inclement weather at noon today) and a slice of carrot and walnut cake. The latte gets 3.3/5, the cake a 3/5. Latte - not a real ginger(bread) flavour for me, more an overly sweetened spice version you get in a chain coffee house. The cake was not as fresh as would've liked, hardened as though it was sitting in (again) a chain coffee house cabinet, and yes, there's a cabinet, I just would've hoped for less selection and more fresh, house or local baked produce. Shame as it has such great reviews. Like all however, taste is personal, this taste just not for me.

We almost didn't try this place. It was a sunny day and I wanted to sit out but there were no seats free. And the name didn't conjure up any kind of usp. But the better half said we should support it as it made clear they were dog friendly and we had the hound with us. Glad we did try it. Great interior. Fantastic, strong coffee. Great cakes. Very friendly welcome. A real little gem, despite the name!

Flat white and a Carrot and Walnut Cake - good coffee - cake stale - asked if could be replaced - with Polenta - advised that too would be dry - yes, I agreed could potentially be but texture and expectations different - handed a slice along with resentment and no apology. Been to this lovely coffee shop many times, but not had breakfast before. The service was friendly and efficient as usual. We had a bacon roll (fab bacon) and croissant with ham/ cheese. Both were tasty. A good coffee and breakfast smoothie completed our meal. I am sure we will be back there very soon.

Every time I come to visit Pembrokeshire. I always come here for a coffee and a snack. The staff are always happy and welcoming and the service is first class. Keep up the good work

Being a coffee lover I have visited many branches of coffee #1 but this branch is by far the best. Its staff are always helpful and thoughtful. I is lovely how they accommodate for wheelchair users, young families with small children, and even dogs, and is fantastic to see samaritan signs advocates talking to staff if they feel the need, or are feeling low. We'll done guys, best coffee shop ever!

I visit this store atleast 3 times a week depending on my working pattern and without fail my visit is always pleasant and welcoming, the staff are always smiling and chatting!! I came in on the bank holiday weekend just gone and it was a very very busy Saturday!! The queue was out the door and the staff were very busy! But the queue was going down fast and the staff were still smiling and being efficient! I LOVE the Portuguese tarts and by the time I had got to the till, there were none left and a member of staff told me they were going to put on some more! PERFECT!! - I always feel welcomed and my coffee it’s to die for every time and this weekend was no different!!

Visited Coffe#1 yesterday during the food festival and as usual the coffee and service were first class, i had the toasted tea cake which was excellent and will order it again next time i visit

I use coffee #1 everyday mainly in the morning for a coffee before work. On the weekends I am usually slightly later. Yesterday I came when there was a food festival in town. I was absolutely amazed to see how busy the shop was. However the staff were as usual professional and cheerful under immense pressure. My coffee and snack was impeccable. I am back this morning and again and coffee is the same as usual PERFECT. As a regular the staff are like family. Coffee #1 is #1 in Haverfordwest.

I really like coffee#1 and I use the other branches often. But today at this one I've never been so angry, I'm a breastfeeding mum as it was a busy day I sat in the only place where I could feed comfortably not long after I started to feed I realised it was really cold and drafty I asked if the door could be closed and till member got the manager to ask who was very rude and said she wanted it kept open. One or two other tables also complained it was cold. My baby and I were really cold. I also had a toasted tea cake that not only went too cold to butter imedeatly it also tastes stail and when I asked the till member the manager snapped at me before she could answer saying it was vegan and what did I expect. I couldn't finish it, it was that dry. Very disappointed

This cafe had lovely selection of paninis and breakfast wraps as well as sandwiches and cakes. The tea and coffee was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would visit again.

Nice place. Coffee was good. Got my baguette order wrong though. Toilets a small. All in all a nice place to get out of the rain and grab a coffee but not much more than that. Staff were friendly.

we were here in august. very friendly staff and nice drinks. as I said in my carmarthern review the only thing we found wrong is that they now allow dogs in the place. there is nothing worse than the smell of damp dog while you are trying to enjoy a nice drink.

We return here every year as its always a nice coffee. And it didnt dissappoint theres plenty of choice for the family my kids loved there mini milkshakes and homemade cake. We will return

Coffee 1 is a chain of coffee shops so you know what to expect of the fare on offer.

Went in with my 11month old. It offers a que which indicates it's popular. Food has a huge variety, looks good range of, organic, gluten free exetra. A bit pricey but anything sourced usually is. Polite service, Cappuccino & lemon cake. Lovely taste nice. It has the facilities, baby changing disabled toilets exetra. Variety of rooms from first floor, upstairs, to lower down. Decorating tasteful, different settings I liked it. Recommend it yes need to work on lowering Price's. Value is the setting, drinks& food polite staff. I have eaten experiencing many different locations. Give it ago you decide.

You could at least have your opening times right online!!!! Extremely annoying for costumers. Online it states coffee no1 is open till 5 on a Sunday but it’s actually 4. Just a little bit of effort keeping this right online wouldn’t go a miss.

This is a pleasant place with a relaxed ambience and nice casual decor. The drinks were really nice but the Spiced Chai some of us had was barely warm.

This is my favourite coffee shop in town. Staff are very kind and friendly and they make a very good espresso. We love their house macchiato and carrot cake or cheese cake. There is a lot more to choose from .Recommend.

I have been a customer here since it opened a couple of years ago, and come here daily (sometimes twice!) and can honestly say the sevice, standard and cleanliness is unrivalled. The staff are so so warm and welcoming even in busy periods of which there are many, never compromising on their high standards of customer service and exceptional coffee making skills! I've been here several times and every time Ive enjoyed myself and had a pleasant experience! I normally ask for a hot chocolate which is the best hot chocolate i've had in a cafe for a while - very tasty! also very generous with the cream and marshmallows!

Went with 3friends yesterday.alittle disorganised and a bit chaotic had a toasted tea Cake that was very large ,and was nice,.had a pot of tea with a small jug,went to pour the milk, it was empty.asked for milk ,I was given such a small amount it bearly covered the bottom of the cup

Bit of a slow queue to start but the coffee was very nice, there were plenty of options and the sponge cake we had was spot on.The staff were pleasant but the tables stacked up with trays and whilst I saw someone washing dishes like a rare one, I didn't see a soul collecting them in the 45 minutes I was there. The staff worked their cobs off so I'd have to presume they were understaffed as the place was roofed.As a bonus I got some coffee grinds for my compost bin so I left quite chuffed.

We love this coffee shop. Go regularly. They are friendly, helpful and honest. The food is better than the one in Sutton Coldfield. No idea how or why as they are a chain!! But they do it better in wales! Fab coffee. Lovely sandwiches with salad and crisps in the side. Gorgeous.

I love this coffee chain.Slightly different from usual coffee places.This one is situated by the river in Haverfordwest so on a summers day you can sit outside by the river.Nice atmosphere and plenty of seats as it goes back a long way. There is another one in Carmarthen.

We visited here on a Friday and Saturday around 1600. The quality of the coffees and teas is superb, this along with a delicious choice of cakes.Staff are friendly and obliging and are fairly quick at serving orders.Sitting outside on the riverside terrace is great for chilling out. Fortunately, we did not have any smokers near us that would have spoilt the occasion

Coffee here is excellent with plenty of choice. Nice cakes too and friendly staff. There's an outside eating area too which is quite pleasant and easier to hold a conversation .inside the acoustics are a problem.

After visiting this shop I finding the Tea and Coffee expencive £2.10 fot Tea, mmm well go to Vinvent Davis and it only £1.95 and the quality is the same. as well as the coffee that is cheaper to.

I discovered this hotel by a chance and i love it.The design is so great and it has a large area and a lot of tables. I like the old design and its really amazing. The variety if the food is exceptional for quick snacks and drinksVery nice and cozy.

We visit No.1 whenever we are in town as it is so conveniently located by the Old Bridge. The selection of coffees is wide and always freshly prepared to a good standard. An interesting range of cakes is available and the seating area is comfortable always with room to sit. We prefer this to the typical coffee shop chains.

Love popping in for a coffee when in town - best decaf coffee in the area. Cakes are great too. Lots of seating, friendly staff. Toilet cubicles very small - quite hard to get in and out unless you're very slim!

A lovely flat white, good paints and very good cakes make this a good place to stop and recharge while shopping or visiting Haverfordwest. Can get busy and watch out for the step down just inside the front door. Lots of places to hide away and enjoy your drink and plenty of papers and books to pass time.

It's fair bit expensive but for the sourondings understandable.Nice to see a reward board nationally, for staff every month. Ordered an Americano with a Hazelnut and Praline brownie whilst my beautiful companion had a Peruvian Blend Cappuccino and triple chocolate brownie. Decor of the place was simply amazing and I felt totally relaxed, coffee was outstanding and service from Meg was superb. Will definitely return.

I visited here early December and sat down the bottom end. we both had coffee and cake. having and the cake is started to drink the coffee which I found lukewarm. we then realised the area we were sitting in was stone cold! it was unbelievable. I put my coat back on. we looked around for a member of staff but no one was about. the only area warm was the few seats in front of the till. As there was a queue being British we did not complain but after spending over £10 on coffee and cakes for 2 I was not best pleased. will avoid now.

I say what a relief because quite simply it is a relief to find an alternative to the ubiquitous Costa, Nero, or Starbucks coffee chains. Nothing particularly wrong with their coffee itself(with the exception of Starbucks!) but they do seem to be trying to swamp every high street and public place with their standardised décor, layout, snacks and even indifferent staff. Coffee 1 was so different, coffee itself as good if not better than Costa, cheerful helpful staff who seemed genuinely pleased to welcome and serve you, eclectic but comfortable furnishings, and we were even able to have freshly made toast. Very good all round.
