Lovely late Sunday lunch yesterday, surprised it was so quiet. Plenty of meat, fresh veggies and a jug of gravy. We ordered a side of mash to share

This bar has a great atmosphere. Very traditional and welcoming. We had a few good laughs with the friendly bar staff.

We got refused service in the garden as had a 6 week old baby with us asleep in a pram!

Great pub, Friendly staff & Locals. The bonus if this establishment is that joined onto the pub is an Indian restaurant. This was busy. Very popular. The food is great, I advise to book.

Food is good but seating needs replacing they are very old and not comfortable for dining

The best gail's in London by far. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel like you belong. They’re genuinely kind, always remembering a name or a favorite order, and they create a space that feels warm and familiar. It’s rare to find a place where the people make you feel seen, not just served—you’re welcomed like family.

Tried their melts and it was good. Coffee is also good. Only thing is it feels like the outlet is shorthanded because tables not cleared...spoons given were dirty..a pity

Not tried the food yet, but went for a few drinks and watched a singer. New owners seem very nice, had a long chat with owners gf who is lovely(sorry can't remember her name). Very busy but a lovely atmosphere, much better than with previous owners

Fabulous local pub ~ friendly attentive staff, great food & atmosphere what’s not to love! I’m so pleased this lovely family have come in and made the Lion great again ~ thank you & we’ll definitely be returning 🩷

I have never seen any rude staff like the one here!!

Waitresses were in a foul mood, took ages to get our orders despite them hanging around at the bar chatting amongst themselves. One even spilled the drink on my friend. Of course we said it was ok but such unprofessionalism dampened our moods. Horrible experience and wait staff, especially the 2 big sized ladies. Felt like I was dining at some fast food chain with teens workin part time. Save your money and mood, go elsewhere!

Kind of fascist, my friend who was a student and Christian, bought a homeless guy a beer and 5 staff members shouted at us and told us we were cut off

Eclectically decorated t room with a lovely helpful waitress. I’d drop only one point as my partner didn’t enjoy his panini as much as I did mine!
