Caffe Nero - Lord Street in Liverpool

the amount of rude customers in this shop is alarming. An old man (typical Karen) was shouting at the girls and harassing them for closing on early when there was a sign on the door that informed that they were understaffed. I guess manners aren’t free anymore for entitled people like that man. The coffee was amazing. Really tasty and perfect temperature. The baristas were extremely polite and professional; not many sandwiches but great cake selection.

Had the best coffee ever I had in long time!!! I was served and had my coffee made by Jess... I wish I could of posted a photo because the presentation and quality of the coffee was incredible. So good I had to take a picture of it! Haha... Jess's warm and friendly nature put me at ease as I was due to go to a doctors appointment.... I frequently see my mates and if we decide to go to town then this will be the new place we go...and if the other staff members customer service is like Jess's was today then even better as she was a credit to the company... Thank you Jess!!!

Coffee not bad. Service not so great. The previous user of the able we sat at wasn't cleared away, so when we left,the next person sat at a table that was full of crockery. Not very good.

Came here in Dec 22'. Service was quite quick and helpful staff were on hand to assist me with my order offering vegan options for my coffee. Very well presented store with a clear menu and pricing. On site toilets and seating available downstairs too and charger ports for phones. However this is down a set of stairs and so may not be suited for wheelchair or disabled access. Accessible by foot with nearby train and bus stations and parking too.

I had ordered a millionaire hot chocolate and had received half of a cup with warm hot chocolate full of crème and the staff member who served me was rude and a trainee member aswell , this isn’t my first bad experience with this cafe nero. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!

Always great coffee but could be duel with upgrading the chairs, very grubby.

The individuals who assisted me were impolite. Although I specified I intended to consume my order in the restaurant, it was placed in a takeaway mug. When I requested a correction, the server raised his voice. Eventually, the same coffee was poured into the mug, and it became cold. I did not enjoy the experience. Kindly address this issue, and I hope management takes appropriate action

We just popped in for coffees and a snack, which were OK. Service was reasonably quick.

Poor customer service , no proper cups and very rude and impatient staff , they don’t do BlueLightCard discount today but I suspect she couldn’t be bothered , no Christmas cheer here!

Felt sorry for the male and female members of staff, they were like machines non stop. Stretched and noticed nearly no one said thank you to them. Hot Chocolate was not hot but good location and one knows what one's getting. Would recommend.

Spacious cafe with two floors of seating. Coffee was good but staff could be a bit friendlier. Tried the iced frappe and it was as expected. Relatively Shepard than other coffee chains and you get what you pay for.

Winter blend oat latte was near perfect. I needed to clear the table of previous customer's cups and plates but besides that, all good for a relaxing cuppa and a book to read in a window seat

Called in for a coffee before catching the train home. Love cafe Nero, always good service and atmosphere, staff well trained in their jobs, always polite and always deliver a great coffee. Shop was clean and tidy. As were the disabled toilets.

I needed a light refreshment and somewhere cool and pleasant to just sit and relax, and I found the perfect place. The rear of the shop was cool and comfortable, the food was light and full of flavour and indulgent the staff were excellent and quick at supplying my order and very helpful and I fully relaxed in the soft comfortable chair what more could you ask on a warm Sunday afternoon

I walked for half an hour to get here because my 4years old son specifically wanted a frappe from Nero. It was 4 afternoon and in the meantime a heavy rain started. But I didn't get the most wanted frappe because they ran out of... ice. One of the main ingredients for most of their main menu. Next time, if you want to have good reviews and rate, make sure you get enough stock of that bloody cheap and abundant ICE. 😡

I visited early morning so was very quiet. Staff were very polite and informative, didn't have any food but the coffee was delicious

Pleasant place for a coffee and our favourite chocolate shortbread. I had a latte and my husband had an Americano. We tried oat milk for a change it was delicious.

Probably my fave out of the chains. Decent coffee and better value than other known chains. We had toasties, coffee, chocolate milkshake and a few sweet treats, all lovely. Comparison to other high street coffee chains, the atmosphere is a bit more comfortable and authentic at cafe Nero. Service can be a bit chaotic, depending on day/time of visit, queued but on the whole, staff very attentive and thays the case in most places in city centre..

The staff always smile , kind and helpful, even if the place is very busy. They make excellent drinks every time I come here to drink and grab a bite. I visit this Nero very often. The seats are very comfortable and clean. It's nice to come here almost every day.

Very expensive, and nothing special for the price

Normally enjoy visiting here to relax and have nice coffee however today to noisy music to loud meant to be background therefore people talking loudly I think people should be aware not everyone wants to hear what's on your phone

I highly recommend this lovely café. The coffe is excellent, the pastries and sandwiches are very tasty. Megan was very helpful and gave great recommendations.

Limited vegan options but I mainly pop in for a cuppa and chill. I like the atmosphere here and the staff are great. My 2 poodles are made to feel welcome too

The worst service I’ve seen in years. The order was wrong, they didn’t allow us to use the toilet because they were short in staff (I don’t see why this is a valid reason) and they were being rude. Don’t go any time soon.

Went to Cafe Near as I heard a lot of positive reviews from people. Ordered a luxury hot chocolate and was kind of hyped for it. Honestly was the worst hot I've ever tasted. Was bland and just disgusting. Binned it. Otherwise staff and atmosphere was nice.

A very good Neros, ideally situated in Liverpool City centre. The staff are normally very good and it's generally well maintained.

Can definitely recommend the Mango Passion fruit Cooler it was amazing, definitely great for a hot day. Atmosphere in the cafe was lovely and laid back to. Prices reasonable.

Went in to claim a free iced drink via O2 priority this morning and got a little extra on top! The O2 priority app claims that I can "Freshen up the week with a free iced drink from Caffè Nero". I do this weekly at various Nero's, sometimes for myself and sometimes ill go and give them to a homeless person because well... the offer is there isn't it? So visiting this store this morning , not only did I get to freshen up my week, I also got a load of huffing and puffing from the jolly old male barista who served me along with being informed that he was 'fed up of having to do these freebies' directly to me along with then deciding to keep on ranting about this to his colleague while making the drink but making sure it was loud enough for me and the person behind me in the queue to hear it. This was very generous of him! :) Upon serving the drink on the counter and more huffing and puffing while keying in the till for me to scan the code, the jolly old barista had slammed the drink down that subsequently upon leaving the store, I'd realised that there was a small split in the cup hence it began to leak. Again, this was above and beyond what the O2 app had as its headline so this was rather amazing for him to offer this 'extra'! I left in high spirits, truly freshened with a new awareness that claiming a drink via O2 priority automatically adds additional weight to a barista's arms and legs meaning that extra effort is undertaken to serve this drink. For that, I can only commend the jolly old male barista and wish him well in his future career in customer service.

Good staff a relaxed environment to enjoy a light refreshing lunch better than GREGGS will visit again .

The coffee here is fantastic plus its dog friendly which is all the better for taking your fur babies too

Very bad customer service and no one knows how to make the beverages properly. No people are welcome for the staff in this place. This afternoon around 4.30pm I been here for a coffee, no hello or hi just the barista asked me what I wanted ( a guy with curly hair) . He did the coffe really bad and then I asked to his colleague ( a blond girl) if was possible change the coffee because was disgusting. She made a little bit better but still was bad coffe and also she was really rude. I asked please and without disgusting, I said just that the Cortado wasn’t a cortado. I didn’t finished my drink and when I was leaving no one said bye or something similar and they were no busy and standing in front of me and looking at me in bad way!! I think they need to leave this position to people that like this job. Never again in Cafe nero!

Leaving a 3 star, service was great and coffer was brilliant and quick, but the toilets are Rank and need a good deep clean.

Ordered 2 drinks got told to sit donw and drinks would be brought over to table . After 10 minutes got asked have you order what we had ordered to which we replied yes .... Then after 5 more minutes the barista comes over an says your drinks are ready and on the counter waiting .found this very unprofessional service .

Lfc was Brilliant and the cafe needs to be bigger when you do the new shop. Plus seats in there needs to be better as people struggle to get out of them.

Decent Latté and the price I think was a little cheaper than its nearest competitors. Staff polite and helpful, even having a joke with customers, so it felt more relaxed. Nice surroundings. Only really marking it down as the staff looked rushed and customers seemed to be confused where to stand and wait.

My initial reason for entering the place was to wait for a friends but I I so much enjoyed their services that when my friends finally came around, we stayed more to enjoy coffee with cakes!
