The food is your normal Pub grub with a very good selection.Bar staff very good,it seems to be a meeting place for everyone before they hit elsewhere(different places) or settle down here for the night.

I ordered food and drink on the app. The drink took 10 minutes to come despite the pub being empty. The food took 25 mins. Chicken was full of bone, and fries overcooked but cold.

Great place for drinks and a good vibe really enjoyed it here will definitely pop in again soon

Saturday is busy, so service was slow, had irish breakfast, the pork n leek sausages were worth the wait. Definitely recommend

My husband and I came over from Northern Ireland for St Patrick's weekend and we had a fantastic weekend. From the door staff to the bar staff they were very helpful and made our experience very welcoming . We have highly recommend your bar to family and friends when visiting Liverpool. It was lunchtime, not very busy, but staff were amazing, food is what you would expect. Cracking wee auld lady serving us. Lived up to the craic, great wee lassie.

Was in O'Neills yesterday with my wife and was served by Dot she went out if her way was soo helpful and lovely had a lovely meal many thanks Dot for be so kind Peter & Monica.

Came here on Valentine’s Day with my partner as we was staying in Liverpool. The man who served us for most of the night was very friendly looked like he was management . The food was amazing and very filling. Live singer was great too. Definitely will come back here for a meal when we next visit Liverpool.

Such a great experience here, Paul the wizard gave us a royal welcome and the Guinness was perfect, will be going back definitely and would recommend!!

Excellent, friendly and attentive staff. Great space to chill and while away time. Great mix of live music, sport and food. Great selection of drinks. If you find yourself in Liverpool City Centre with time to kill - or indeed want a meal post-hangover, want a decent pint of Guinness, or just want a nice chilled place to spend time alone or with friends, I cannot recommend it enough. I am a frequent visitor and will continue to be so while they maintain such a friendly, personable space with such great staff.

Well what can I say..friging fantastic place to drink and sometimes have a bite to eat. Can't fault the service the beer or the food. Big shout out to Christine my favourite barmaid always goes above and beyond to make me feel welcome she is a superstar

Stumbled on this place by accident and glad we did. Very busy with great atmosphere. Service was quick considering it being busy,so hats off to the bar staff. We were just going to have the one drink,but with atmosphere being good and friendly we stayed for a couple more.

Came in to watch dart finals but also birthday drinks for myself with my partner. Staff were super accommodating and helpful and very friendly, had a laugh with them everytime we went back to the bar. Had food also, the deal for 3 tapas plates, food was so tasty, couldn't fault it. Irish Paul and Amelia were fantastic with us! Big ups to them!! Next time we are back in Liverpool we'll be back here

Power cut whilst we were there. Having just ordered our drinks for £29.50, we were asked to leave as no backup generator to provide power. So we ended up leaving having had only a mouthful of our purchased drinks. We were not offered our money back or provided with a credit voucher to use at a later date! Very poor form from a company the size of O'Neils

Guinness was grand. Staff were friendly, would return.

I can hardly fault O'Neill's. A great pub burger at competitive city prices, whilst the range of drinks is wide: plenty of beers, IPAs, cocktails & an excellent range of ciders.

Disgraceful that an Irish pub has no alchohol free Guinness on tap, I had to buy cans of zero Guinness, terrible, also, I was told there was no other alchohol free beers, ridiculous.

Came with the family after seeing Father Christmas in the Grotto. The food and service we're spot on. We had 4 clean plates from us. The service was great too. Very good service from The Wizard (Paul). I've not been in here for a few years but the food was that good I feel like coming back tomorrow. P.s. the food was that good it was gone before I even thought of taking a picture.

Ordered two burgers, hot chicken stacker & cheese and bacon. Lovely food, with a drink for only £1.50 extra. Cheap and cheerful with the mid week offers, they also had a live singer on too, who was really good.

Great pub with deals on drinks but their advertising makes you believe many drinks are in the deal when in fact they are not! So what should of been a £6 round turned about to be £16!

Liverpool is our home away from home and we came to O’Neills every single visit. The food is amazingly priced and high standard of ‘pub food’. We are here this time for three nights and it’s made our quiet time more than enjoyable. Live music whilst watching the Liverpool game with beautiful food. What more could you want?

We had a wonderful couple of hours…went in on wed night at about 6pm…there was a good, live singer, tremendous bar staff, great Guinness and all served at a very reasonable price. The place was packed which created a great atmosphere and all because we just wanted some Guinness ….thank you so much, blinding….

Good atmosphere and friendly bar staff. The staff are very accommodating. My southern fried chicken flatbread was missing chilli sauce, which needed sauce. The portion of coleslaw might as well of not bothered (one forkfull). If you are after food, football, and music, this is the place.

Gr8 food and service. Me and my father got the ealry but the Staff were cheerful and well mannered.

Came in here today for something to eat . It was 10 past 12 and there were no menus on the table, when we asked we were told they weren’t serving food for 10 mins as they were changing over and someone would be round . Waited more than 10 mins ,and no one came do we left. Last time we tried to eat here something similar happened , so I would not recommend and will not visit here again . Been to the branch in London before and never had an issue

Popped in for a few drinks on a Monday night during breif visit to Liverpool. Live music was good (open mic / guitar). Would recommend visiting on a night out.

Service was fast and very polite . Breakfast was just enough and delicious . When we asked if the staff member could put Australian rules football on, he did straight away on the biggest tv and we had front row seats . Thank you

My favourite bar to visit during my short break in Liverpool. Food was spot on and reasonably priced. The Guinness was lovely and the bar staff were very pleasant. I recommend this place.

Only stopped for the free drink from the app, but will be going again next time at it was such a nice drink, and bonus it was free. But would of been happy to pay, it was a summer fizz

Visited yesterday. Everything was a problem. We wanted drink-problem, wanted food- problem. Service not worth the price.

Great happy hour (£3 select pints, cocktails, G&T) and quick service. Clean, not too busy but can be a bit too loud when there's live music.

Played here on a busy Saturday night. Full on city centre pub full of lads and lasses all out for a good time. Very friendly staff. Big screens and small dotted throughout if you fancy watching sport. Large selection of (mainly) lagers. Not a pub for a quiet drink 😜

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hoping around this area of the city when we decided to drop into O'Neill's Pub and what a pleasant time we had. A great looking pub ,interior is lovely ,a cool looking serving bar ,dark wood features ,pubby decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options. We were here on a beautiful July Thursday early afternoon ,we ordered a guinness each ,poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,we kicked back ,chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. Guinness served in here was spot on ,thick,creamy,bursting with taste and served freezing cold ,so good enjoying a quality pint of Ireland's finest in such a great pub. We really enjoyed our pints of guinness in here before we moved on and as on every previous visit to here we had a great time. O'Neill's is easy to locate along Hanover Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,open from 10am till very late. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
