Caffe Nero in Camden

Lovely coffee shop! We always pop in on our walkabouts. The 'cortado' is amazing !

I had a very disappointing experience during my visit today. I was unable to use a prepaid code for a hot drink, as I was informed that a screenshot of the code was not acceptable. I find it puzzling, and I can't help but wonder if my headscarf played a role in this situation, as I have never encountered such an issue at any other Café Nero. Overall, the customer service was quite unsatisfactory. Not worth it at all

The cinnamon bun and amaretto hot chocolate are really good. I was on crutches and the staff were very helpful, the lady with the tattoos (didnt catch her name) even brought my food to me and was very friendly.

Always been my favourite. Very humble and skilled staffs.

Nice cup of coffee - a cappuccino without chocolate

Nice and cosy, lots of soft seating in the back. Great on a cold and wet day. The staff were nice and friendly, it's a great little pit stop if you looking for a quiet place to rest or take a break with a nice tea/coffee and a slice of cake 😉😋

Nice place, but you really need to do something for the toilets! 10 flies, horrible smell, no paper, dirty…

Love the floor tile and wood combo but I have to admit, the coffee isn't great. It's not a dig at this store in particular but generally I think the Nero coffee needs improving.

Morning coffee. Nice rooms towards the back to relax for a bit. They also had a few snack if you were interested.

Croissant was burnt so I had to ask for new one. I asked if the croissant could be warmed up for a few seconds and the waitress said no as it was freshly made. Standard caffe nero . Good seating inside

3 employees working and no queue. You would think one of them would take an order. If you have please time to loose.go there. If you want coffee, go elsewhere.

Staff are always polite. If you can grab a seat by the window it's a lovely spot to read and people watch.

Good atmosphere and good service

Cakes were cold from the freezer, coffee was not tasty. The service was not good. There were some beggers in the Caffè asking for money!!

I visited with my friend to get drinks from cafe Nero’s new summer menu and the guy who served us was Shubham, he was amazing, friendly and suggested us which drinks are best for us and what can we expect to be the flavours, he very calmly mentioned how it would be made and suggested what can be added to drinks to enhance its flavours, so all in all made my day with delicious Mango and passion fruit drink and for my friend pistachio frappe… kuddos to management for well trained staff❤️😊

The staff is kind but coffee was weak. Asked for a latte and it tasted like nothing because of how diluted it was. The bathroom is disgusting. If someone leaves the door open the entire place smells like piss. Only good thing was the croissant

We stoppec here for coffee, after our journey upto London. We haven't been to a Neros for while. We enjoyed a nice apricot croissant. And I had a good cortado.

I got scammed… Paid 3.55 for this little strip. The price is the same with the chocolate cake beside but you are only getting the tiniest piece. Not to mention the coffee I got was not filled to the line. Caffe Nero is a good coffee place but avoid this specific store.

I am a regular customer. Here is why I am going to boycott Caffé Nero from tomorrow. Staff is generally welcoming and hard-working. I spent more than £10 at two of Caffé Nero today 01 December, but wasted a lot of time because the Cloud wifi was so frustrating, with endless disruption. This happened the day before in Holborn Néro as well. It had affected my work. Also, the dark, blue and white armchair are not comfortable at the Tottenham Court Road café. Some of the staff need more training. You cannot refuse a customer a wet macchiato, saying that a macchiato has to have foam.

Charge me extortion and refuse to put it in a glass because there is no staff to clean up according to them when there is 4 person working there behind the till's talking to each other and just one serving. The whole entire cafe was lited with paper cups for no reason because they can't be bothered to clean it. All of this lazy staff needs to be fired and fine for the lazy attitude. I hate wasting unnecessary cutlery for no reason. Never will go into this cafe again.

I've never been to such a bad place in the UK. I ordered a cup of coffee before class this morning (as shown in Figure 1). During the class, I drank a foreign object in my coffee (as shown in Figure 2), which made me feel very sick. After class, I took this cup of coffee and the foreign object to the store to ask for an explanation. However, the waiter with the bad attitude first denied that the coffee was ordered in their store, and then tried to emphasize that the coffee was ordered in the morning but it was now in the afternoon (why did I have to finish it on the spot when I ordered a drink to go??) Sensing my anger, the bullying waiter finally tried to remedy it, but he kept insisting on making me a new cup (imagine if I'd just had a foreign object in my coffee would I want another cup of coffee??). The waiter refused to give me a refund until the end, instead trying to appease my anger with a coupon (see Figure 3). What made me most angry was that I never heard an apology from the beginning to the end.

Awesome coffee. Great atmosphere to spend some times alone working or with friends. They still make the best Chai latte I have ever had.

Friendly staff and tasty drinks. But Caffè Nero - what in the world is going on with your leaky takeaway cups. At least 4 times in the past 8 weeks I've ruined outfits and car Cup holders because your coffee starts dripping through the bottom within 10 minutes of it being poured. A one off occurrence is forgettable, but this keeps happening and its superbly annoying. EDIT: The cups seem better recently. Maybe a new supplier.

I came in at 7 they closed at 7.30 but had no cream for the mocha which burnt my tongue and had no flavour they had no cup holders and I was made to feel rushed and like I was imposing even though there were other customers there. Asian lady who served me was nice but her colleague didn’t want anyone there

Coffee and Nero is like any other mass production coffee chains. Not good quality yet service and atmosphere was super nice

It was 15:30 and they have refused to give me a china cup even though I was staying in, without giving any explanations. Additionally, many other customers were using china cups, and other empty tables had dirty china cups in on top. This is the basic of customer service. Never again visiting this store.

Don’t go if you like good coffee. Went here the other day, asked for a very tight americano, in the smallest cup they had, and it was still very watery. I’m speechless - how is it possible to make a watery coffee in a cup that’s normally designed for espresso?

As a coffee lover, this is definitely one of my coffee hopping place in London.

They fiddled while we dehydrated. Both people behind the counter were doing things when we arrived. They didn't stop when we stood at the counter, they didn't acknowledge us at all until it was our turn - no-one else was waiting. We had cups of tea. They were hot and full of tea, which was nice. The toilet was filthy, out of paper, REALLY icky. The company was great, which is why I put a ⭐, though the company was my choice rather than theirs. I didn't hate it, but there's no rating for indifference.

So the place is good and the atmosphere too. Food was good but the hot chocolate can have more chocolate as it seems that it is only milk instead of a hot chocolate. Moreover, toilets were out of order for few days so it is something that is it really out of order? If you provide food and drinks and people are sitting you must provide a toilet but it wasn't working any of the days we went. I assume it is being repaired but maybe it could be fixed quicker.

Toilet did not work for 2 consecutive days which is suspicious that they actually just close it for costumers to avoid having to clean it. We have seen this before on other coffee shops. Waitresses were not supernice and didn’t seem to like having customers to serve. Soundtrack is really good with classical music all day long.

Nice coffee and cake in relax surrounding very helpful staff

Asked for a Grande hot chocolate, but received regular. When she realised I ordered Grande, she just put it in a grande cup and topped it up with milk. Now I have slightly chocolatey flavoured milk.

Food and coffee is great. However the service is simply appalling. They are very slow in terms of service and seem to have the life sucked out of them

Milkshake was lovely however didnt have any almond milk nor gluten free cakes which is a shame.

I cannot comment on the food as I did not purchase any. The two staff at the front counter were tremendous. Very courteous, friendly and service with a great smile.

Great little Caffè Nero right by the station. Same quality drinks that you find in all other Caffè Nero's and has good seating available. Had the Hazelnut and Chocolate Frappe which is my go-to on a hot summers day. Toilet could probably do with more of a regular clean but, it is what it is. Most people probably won't run into that issue.

Pistachio cofee wasn't flavoured and sweet enough. Coconut chocolate initially was ok but lost the taste half way. Luxury chocolate was good. Atmosphere looked cozy and staff who served us very helpful thanks

An oasis in Tottenham Court Road

Lovely staff, good location. Sadly the toilet was disgusting and out of toilet roll. The cleaning checks sheet in the toilet hadn’t been signed since 6:30am, 12 hours previously. This really let down an otherwise good caffe Nero.

They always close earlier than 9pm so annoying

the worst caffe nero in all of london, slow and unqualified staff, dust and dirt everywhere. Dilapidated bathroom with blood and intimate pads everywhere, obviously the cleaning sheet is missing since they are not carried out. Never again

Came at the height of lunch hour, friendly, speedy service and I was able to get a seat, albeit with previous persons rubbish.

Terrible service. Always multiple people behind the bar, today there were 4, with 1 person serving. Saw multiple people walk out in frustration and not a care or concern from the staff.

Very nice coffee,black Americano was good and I would recommend it. Some Nero's don't have the extensive range of cakes like cappuccino or chocolate cake but this one has and also nice assortment of muffins.That is what a branded coffee shop should offer but those at stations like Moorgate suck as they don't have much range of cakes on offer. So all in all a good satisfying experience and I wish all Nero's do hot almond croissants and lemon poppy seed muffins. Lemon poppy seed muffins from years of yore were just outta this world and they stopped doing them.I don't like lemon drizzles as much.

I asked for an ice flat white that was absolutely tasteless. Why don’t they have lacto free milk? Very difficult to find a clean table. Pity.

Nice coffee, spacious venue, friendly staff. The upper mezzanine has three steps up to it which don’t have a rail. Meaning it is not accessible to anyone with mobility or balance problems.

My favourite Cafe Nero, the staff so helpful and great coffee. My visits to UCLH hospital have been helped immensely.

Asked for a latte without foam,and yet my coffee had a quarter of the cup with foam. Very disappointed that she was not able to follow simple instructions.

The best coffe shop in the city

This is on a busy street, so on warm days many of the cold items from the menu can appear missing irl. This is a problem when ordering using the app. Apart from that, it is good.

Nero is always the best coffee - and this branch is friendly and clean and with loads of space to sit or work. No WiFi but a decent phone signal.

OK. Not the best cappuchino ... maybe they need to hone their skills ... a skinny skim of foam isn't a cappuchino!!

Spent some time in Tottenham Court Road today whilst waiting for a friend who had an appointment at the University College Hospital. What a pleasant surprise the food and drink was very good. I must applaud a young lady called Konstantina who worked so hard (despite having two lads who should have been working but didn't do very much). She was a gem and De Niro's are lucky to have her working for them. Well done young lady you will go far !!!
