The World's End in Camden

Nos dejamos caer en el famoso bar en nuestro recorrido por la zona. He estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años. Tengo buenos recuerdos de la música en vivo que sonaba en mi juventud. Sin embargo, ahora es un poco estéril y ha perdido mucho de su encanto. Está bien para una copa o dos.

Siempre es un placer venir a este boozer que cuenta con una gran ubicación, el personal y los precios son justos para Londres. Vine aquí ayer (23 de abril de 2025) por unas pintas y algo de comida. Una interesante salida Hot Dogs con un bollo de carbón. Disfruté mucho de esto por un poco de comida estándar del pub y una pinta de aceite de cuello.

Great atmosphere, shame the Guinness wasn't up to scratch

So really nice place to stay. The drinks come quickly, you have to wait a bit for the food, but it's shockingly good. So if you want to experience the atmosphere, you definitely have to go.

Expensive for what is basic pub food, but it's also good food in the middle of a tourist area, so not surprising. Great atmosphere, fits into the alternative scene, little nooks to hide in or more open space if you want the social atmosphere

Great place got the t shirt rock bar outside camden station. Barmaids amazing look fantastic. What is there not to like.

The World's End is a really nice pub with some great food options, definitely a must see if you're an alternative person. The merch is pretty good and definitely worth the money. When I went I got the hot dog, it was the best hot dog I ever had. The bun was amazing, it wasn't so soft that it tore apart in your hand but wasn't too firm to feel like a hassle to eat; definitely a perfect bun. The coleslaw that came with it wasn't too spicy and was quite enjoyable, the chips were a nice addition too. Definitely a 10/10 with me. I highly recommend coming during the week, it was less busy than if you went on the weekend and I overall had a great time.

Lovely pub with a warm, welcoming atmosphere—and the highlight is definitely Dimitris! Super friendly and attentive, he made us feel right at home. Great drinks, even better music, and top-notch service. Can’t wait to come back!

This is hands down my favorite go to pub in Camden. Good music, amazing bartenders, love the people that hang here. Next time I’m in Camden, I’ll be sure to try the food menu. I noticed that they had a vegan option in it

Siempre visito aquí cuando en Londres (que admito que no es a menudo) , me encanta el ambiente, la decoración, la configuración, hay mucho espacio y la cerveza tiende a ser bueno. Lo que me ha molestado en mi última visita es que están cobrando un cargo de servicio “discrecional” del 4% en cada factura, esto incluye comprar una pinta en el bar. Compré 2 pintas de Camden Hells no miró la cantidad ya que estaba muerto a los precios extorsivos en Londres por el día 2 , mi esposa fue al bar la 2a vez y mi reloj zumbó mientras pagaba y tuve una mirada rápida y eran £ 15 . 45 Me encogí de hombros y aunque sí normal. No fue durante uno o dos minutos que de repente me di cuenta de que era un número impar y que hacía que cada pinta de £ 7 . 725 , fui y pregunté en el bar y me dijeron de este cargo por servicio del 4 % (y también señalaron 2 letreros tamaño postal muy pequeños con letra diminuta en que avisaría a la gente del cargo) . No estoy seguro de nadie más, pero si entro en un bar por una pinta no busco específicamente nada que diga que me van a cobrar por el servicio, también esperaría que el barman me pregunte si estoy bien pagando el cargo, ya que es discrecional... también funciona a aproximadamente 30 p por pinta para que alguien sirva una cerveza y la entregue en el mostrador. El dinero va al personal o eso dicen... pero también son descarados ya que tienen vasos en el mostrador del bar con un cartel que dice:

Good pub, good prices, great music but my only gripe was the huge amount of reserved tables. Some people like to sit and relax when visiting a pub not stand about. For this reason I left after one drink, and probably others did too.

They add their service charge to drinks bought at the bar. It’s “optional” but they don’t tell you about it at all - can only imagine the amount of tourists they’ve conned doing this.

Fui al Fin del Mundo el sábado, llegué a las 17: 30 . El pub no estaba lleno. Soy británico de Asia oriental. Llegué solo. Fui a la puerta y me preguntaron adónde iba y le dije al bar. El tipo de la puerta dijo que necesito encontrar otro bar. ¿Por qué? Sólo que se repite de una manera más agresiva. Me quedé afuera y llamé a mi amigo en el bar que estaba por su cuenta en ese momento, ya que dije que tenía que ir a otro bar. Salió y el portero nos llamó cuando estábamos a punto de salir y me dejó entrar. Mi amigo es White.

Great pub with a history. One of Camden's must visit places. A music icon of a pub attached to the Underworld. Great range of beers. Food available too.

Local favourite, great place to meet friends for a drink due to the space but its kinda pricey given other local Metal pubs

My partner and I called in for a couple of drinks and were met by a lovely bar man by the name of Dimitri. He was very friendly and looked after us well whilst we were there. I also bought one of your awesome hoodies from him which I love.

Myself and my partner stopped in to have a few beers. Whilst there we were served by a really great barman called Dmitry. He was a very pleasant gentleman and made us feel incredibly welcome. I would like to express my sincere gratitude.

A good rock and metal bar with a great atmosphere and good beer, opposite Camden Town tube station.

I loved this place, especially the people in the pub, we had a lot of laughs from the beginning till the end. Security was cracking jokes, some random people spoke to us, the waitress asked if we wanted a specific song played (this was super nice of her!!)! Food was great and in general I must admit I didn't have such a chilled night out in a while! Fully recommended!

Horrible customer service! My food was burned. Omg! Never seen this!Total discrimination! They bring the drinks to the customer next table and asked me to pick up mine at the bar.

Absolutely awful, approached the venue to enter and was greeted by the ‘doorman’ and asked if we’d had a drink at 00:30 on a Friday night, and his attitude was awful. Wouldn’t bother giving custom 👍🏻

Just love everything about it. Good selection of beers, gin, rum (well, you don't have to drink Kraken) and great food. The ambience and the different bars are simply brilliant for this size. But by far the best thing about World's End: the music. That just makes my Hard Rock/Nu Metal/Heavy Metal heart soar. In which other pub do you hear Mudvayne, Slipknot, Rammstein and SOAD… Just a really cool pub!

Doorman possibly one of the most unpleasant people I’ve ever met in my life. Lets complete drunk weirdos in the place but decided to target my friend who’s had 1 drink all night and doesn’t let us in? Genuine weirdo whose supervisor agreed that my friend was ok to let in. Serious misogyny and to top it off £15 for one drink - will definitely not be returning to a place who employs misogynistic power hungry men :)

Owner and security more concerned with keeping their creepy male customers than keeping women safe. Would not recommend going here if you’re a woman who wants to feel safe. Wouldn’t recommend going if you’re anyone who doesn’t want to spend £15 for one drink.

A little ££ but nice staff and nice atmosphere, a good selection on drinks with plenty of seating and really cool decor. Definitely worth a pint if you’re in the area.

Overpriced pub. I got charged over £8 for a pint of staropramen. It’s probably good if you’re in to rock etc.

Supper cool bar, nice music but guys just ordered two shots of tequila and there was a chewing gum at the bottom of the one glass, I’m Really in shock cause I had to touch it to realize what the heck was that. They change the shot but still disgusting. It make me believe that they don’t even wash the glasses. Really gross and it seemed fun for the bartender.

He estado en El Fin del Mundo muchas veces, es un pub masivo y siempre está activo. El personal es amable y el precio de las pintas es bueno.

Lovely pub, nice wine hubby enjoyed a pint of stout by the open fire. Just music was horrendous, very heavy rock music playing constantly.

A huge genuine old London pub with great character. Friendly helpful staff and an extensive range of independent brewery beers and there own beers brewed on site too.

The security guard standing in front of their shop refused us entry. The other day I tried to visit the shop with a friend. We presented our IDs and were over 18 years old, but the security guard rudely told us that only people over 25 years old are allowed to enter the shop and refused us entry. His rudeness appeared to indicate that he was refusing us entry on the basis that we were Asian. Nowhere on your restaurant's website is there any mention of an age restriction. Does your restaurant permit racism or age discrimination? If so, we intend to report your shop to the police.

We're not a big fan of pubs but we really enjoy our time here due to it's amazing music selection ( rock, enthusiasts, the pub attracts an eclectic mix of people reflecting the nature of Camden itself). Good prices and Staff are friendly and helpful 🙂

In a league of it's own! Previously, my favourite London pub was another in Islington, which has an upstairs lounge and on the weekends, morphs into a electronic music mecca. This Camden pub is the equivalent for rock and metal music lovers. Superb vibe, very friendly people, reasonably priced drinks and with the icon Underworld club beneath it. You couldn't ask for more! I will now be a regular :)

Heavy metal fans will love this pub, the first bar is small but out the back is a huge bar with a decent sound system & plays proper rock & metal music.

I’ve just moved to London and went to check out Camden’s night life. I was headed elsewhere when the music caught my attention from across the street. I walked in and was excited by the British/punk rock environment. Locals were wearing outrageous and loud outfits, which I later found out was because of a gig upstairs. Absolutely amazing time. Will be coming back regularly.

If you want to enjoy a nice pint/s and listen to great music 🤘this is the place for you.

Visitado un sábado por la noche. Las bebidas estaban bien y los precios habituales de Camden. La música es un heavy metal del que no nos dimos cuenta, no para nosotros así que nos fuimos. Sería un gran lugar si ese es tu gusto musical, pero era demasiado pesado para nosotros.

We popped in for a drink after a lively day in Camden service was excellent and its a lovely lively pub, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have been coming here since I was a teenager and always love it. I'm 53 now and brought my 72 year old mum for the first time and she loved it. Staff are always friendly as are the clientele. Keep up the good work

Couldn't hear meself think, let alone talk to anyone due to the loudness of the thrashmetal music being played on the Friday afternoon.

Cool pub in a great area, feel huge inside like you're outside. Quick service when I attended and the upstairs bit is cool. Dj was playing metal but also some DNB. Fun to explore around the pub. Friendly crowd in there, could do with some more rotation of wmcraft beers maybe.

Fantastic, wonderful and friendly staff, brilliant metal/rock music, coolest interior, great clientele. I was so impressed I bought the T-shirt (Cerberus, 3 headed dog, guardian to the entrance to the Underworld. You'll understand when you visit). Did I mention the staff?.....

I only have a couple of beers here and it is always a place to be when I'm in Camden Town.

The world's end bar has a good atmosphere dropped by at Halloween. Drink prices ok. Rock in music and downstairs in Camden Underworld great dance atmosphere to the early hours.

No chance to review anything, the bouncer asked if I was really high which I wasn't, I offered him my ID and anything he needed but he kept mumbling and just said I couldn't come in and neither could one random person from the group in front of me
