There is a grumpy young female shop assistant. I will not go there again. Ruined our day without any apology for the numerous mistakes made. It is a shame that the reputation of the restaurant has been ruined because of her. DON'T RUIN YOUR DAY!

Just outside Paddington station, this is a typical Cafe Nero. Service was fairly slow, but coffee is reliable and it had squidgy sofas to drink into.

Great coffee, staff is pretty polite and I’ve loved the carrot cake dog snacks on the counter! Such a cute touch!

Avoid this place and go somewhere that values their customers. The service here really needs sorting. I work in hospitality so I get that it can be hard, but at least try. The staff here have absolutely no manners and a weirdly aggressive attitude. The coffee was made in about 30 seconds with no care, and it was super burnt. When it was time to pay the bartenders didn't say a word. they just put forward the payment device with the sum on it, before slamming the equipment.

I don't drink coffee, but I would always go into a Café Nero branch just for the lemon cake. So hard to find, and so delicious at Nero. Very convenient location.

Worst Service EVER!! I visited this place yesterday (05/03/24) around 8am and the man behind the counter was so unpleasant that did not greet or smile.

Fuyez ! J'ai pris un panetonne café à presque 5£ pour finalement avoir un café au lait sans chantilly alors que j'en ai demandé. Cher pour ce que c'est. Le service désagréable, la serveuse tire la tronche. Et que dire de la propreté des toilettes !! A fuir ! Pas nettoyé depuis le matin 6h, vraiment très sale.

Sad to think that this Nero was once so good and taken care of but now the service is bad, the staff are not friendly, there is barely anything left. The management change really affected that place.

Thursday 14th of December around 4:50pm, service was good and place was not too busy. There was a guy and a girl working. The guy, who served us, shouted at the girl ordering to clean the floor from the mess she made by accident. He was verbally violent and it was sad to see the girl with teary eyes. Someone from management check the guy behavior. He wears glasses. Girl don’t let nobody treat you like that.

Really poor service. I ordered a regular Latte. I then had to ask the Barrista to remove the shot of caramel which she had decided to add for some reason. This was met with a grunt. I then asked to pay with the app only to be met with more attitude as she had already selected the card payment option. Takeaway cups were also being used even though it was still over an hour until closing time. I guess it's easier. Really not impressed unfortunately.

Caffe Nero food and coffee are consistently good. The staff, however, are a bit... odd. Nice guys, but I was given my drink in a takeaway cup because they "are closing in an hour." Closing in an hour?! Really guys?! Don't fancy running the dishwasher in the hour before you have to close?? Seriously weird.

Plenty of seats, just slightly old couches. But atmosphere otherwise is good. The air conditioning at the back is slightly annoying as it can get cold, if the staff don't switch it off intermittently.

Staff don’t seem to be bothered here. Watched two of them bring in a full chicken shop meal and eat it on one of the sofas while one trainee was left on the till. I watched in horror as, after sloppily picking apart chicken wings, they returned to the counter and started serving food and drink without washing their hands. I arrived before lunch and stayed for an hour or so, and came back in the late afternoon. During that entire time, there was a pair of ragged old socks on a sofa and the floor beneath which no staff member had either noticed or attempted to clean up. When I returned, I had to wait at the till for the trainee to notice me while she browsed her phone.

Kahvi oli perushyvää kahvia. Ei eroa muista kahviketjuista. Asiakaspalvelu oli asiallista. Hintataso keskitasoa.

Barista oli kohtelias ja auttavainen. Kahvissa ei mitään valitettavaa. Sisältä paikka on hieman mielikuvitukseton. Ihmettelin kun kerjääjä päästettiin sisään häiritsemään asiakkaita.

Loved the dark chocolate drinks! But the place is a little sloppy. It took awhile to find a table that was actually clean.

Unhygienic service, dirty cutlery served several times, poor cappuccino milk that sent me into diarrhea for more than a week, very bored and uncaring staff.

Haven't ever used a Caffe Nero before but really needed a coffee hit. This cafe was nice. Spacious, friendly and very welcoming. Coffee tasted nice too. Will 100% go back. Nice vibe I got from it.

It was bad experience for me on Sunday date 31:7:2020 at 17: 15. One of the staff was angry when you were ask him the our orders. And we were waiting for 20 minutes inside the cafe the staff wasn’t there. I always drink my coffee here but I don’t know why he speaks to us like that.

Went a few times early in the morning whilst staying in Paddington. It was closed on each occasssion - at least 40 minutes after Google and its own door sign had it listed to open.

Google Maps says it opens at 6am on weekdays, their schedule on the door says the same, yet 6:21am the guy is unpacking. Looks at me through the glass when I point to the schedule, carries on doing what he wants.

Good options for coffee, hot chocolate and iced drinks. The eating options are also decent. Best thing is they will warm up the sandwiches unlike pret which serves cold. Had the chicken cheese sandwich which was big in size with decent filling. Has both inside and outside seating. Value for money.

This Paddington Branch of Caffe Nero used to open at 6.30am. Still says that is when they open on the front window. Popular for early risers and workers. No longer it seems. The door is often firmly shut at 7.45am. If this is due to lack of staff, change the sign. As for the coffee shop- generic but pleasant. Good coffee.

I visited this branch on Easter Sunday 2022. This is my plan b branch as my original choice is the one inside Edgware Road Station, but was closed. When I arrived there was a queue but manageable, mainly tourist and there was one girl behind the counter. Moments later another colleague helped. It was extremely busy as not many places were opened given the public holiday. There was also a payments issue, this didn’t help the backlog of customers waiting. When I was served I paid via the app but didn’t go through. I advised the girl I would sit close by and pay later. At this point it was cash-only. Thankfully my payment went through. I would like to commend this girl, she handled the situation brilliantly and given how busy it was; extremely calm! I was impressed and thanked her and the male colleague as a I left. I will visit again as the staff were extremely professional given the nature of issues and customers present. She can be described as having a subtle french accent(?) and wearing a head scarf. Well done!

A usual fan of Caffe Nero outlets but this one let me down. Visited this place on a Saturday afternoon. I specifically asked for a single shot iced Americano with Guatemalan beans and the trainee barista added 2 shots to hot water and added ice on top leading to warm Americano versus an iced one. Most other Caffe Nero outlets are way better than this one in terms of service.

I have been here before and the service was good. However, I visited this store yesterday (04/03/22) around 11am and the man behind the till was so rude and had lack of customer service skills; he proceeded to shout at me from a distance to take my order (do we shout to take orders now?) and made a derogatory comment *shouting* “I am trying to take your order what do you want” whilst waving his hands aimlessly. Side note I’m partially deaf so I never noticed he was talking to me at first as it was busy and the queue never really moved, I don’t appreciate being shouted at even though I am deaf as this made me feel embarrassed although sometimes I cannot hear well I could understand the man perfectly he really didn’t need to shout - this caused other people in the cafe/queue to also stare/look which wasn’t nice for me. I understand it’s difficult when it’s busy but this should never surpass to shouting at people in a rude manner. The coffee is good but it’s safe to say I will not be back after this horrendous experience.

Seeing young staff working here alongside the stress of uni and everyday life is motivational in every way. Getting to know their lives before “quoting their canvas” can be touching. Please don’t expect everyone to be as cheerful as Larry every morning 7 days a week. Background lives also play a huge role so please be considerate and not lose your temper after 10 seconds of waiting. Much love to the staff of Nero!
